Karen and Ed are an amazing couple to work with and I couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our wedding. They are true artists and takes photography to another level. Not only are they extremely professional, they have such easy going personalities that they just make you feel calm. They're extremely responsive but are not intrusive. They're very stress free people and loved loved their personalities. Of course, their work speaks for itself. We searched for various photographers and there are definitely diva photographers out there. You don't want to deal with additional stress of managing your vendors. I can't wait to see our final pictures and we feel extremely lucky to have found them!

One important aspect you need when it comes to capturing all the emotions and memories that happen throughout your special day is a good wedding photographer. My wife and I had been looking for the perfect wedding photographer to do this for us and there was no doubt that ATRERO were the ones who came to mind! Ed and Karen have a great eye for lighting and are very creative when using the scenery around them. Our engagement session was in downtown San Diego and we had so much fun walking around shooting. We felt like America’s next top models shooting in alleyways, cargo entrances (with Ed’s best friend Eric lol), and at the Analog Bar. They make you feel comfortable and are very easy to work with. They treat you like family unlike other vendors who just treat you as their customer. We definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding photographer and will work with them again!

One of the best wedding vendors I've had the pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them not only to my family and friends but for those looking for a wedding photographer. What can I say their work speaks for themselves!!! They produce nothing but spectacular and beautiful photos. We were tired of seeing the same ole' cookie cutter wedding photos and wanted something more. We reviewed a dozen wedding photographer websites that were either recommended to us or randomly found on the web. BOOM - Enter the Atreros! Their portfolio was stunning and my occular nerves twitched. Their pictures made statements, they knew how to use space and freeze time.

We immediately booked them one month into our engagement. The fiance was elated and could not contain her excitement (she was already planning what to do with her hair/makeup/and yadda yadda!)

Fast forward 3 months and imagine an Alice in Wonderland themed venue for our engagement shoot (which of course the very creative Atreros recommended): Umbrellas hanging from the ceilings, green grass on the walls, dim lightining and oodles of deep hues to satisfy our quest for a unique backdrop. Ed & Karen knew exactly where to position us and at times we wondered how it would all be captured.

Our session turned out to be not only an engagement shoot, but also an excursion with good people and good food. They were so down to earth and seemed to have really listen to our ideas. It was great to see our imagination come to fruition through the lenses of the Atreros.

Our wedding is in 6 months and we are excited to have them capture our special event!!

The first vendor that we researched on is photographer. We were looking for an "AWARD WINNING PHOTOGRAPHER" , then saw ATRERO's amazing photos online, I knew I was sold. :) We met with Karen at their gallery, then saw more good PHOTOS! Me and my husband booked them right away.

Karen and ED are such a talented and very artistic couple. They have very good eyes. Most of all, I love their photography style.

You really can't get anyone more fun, creative, and professional than Ed and Karen. They are top notch. The pictures speak for themselves. My husband and I could not be happier! Our family and friends are so impressed and amazed with all of our pictures. The hubby has a bad reputation of ruining pictures and he looked quite dashing. =) Ed and Karen did a beautiful job at capturing all of the emotion, details, and everything in between. They are definitely worth the investment and then some!

They were awesome photographers! 5stars for their personalities and their talent! We are extremely happy for the stuff we got from them ;) the only thing we would say is that, we waited a little too long to receive the wedding photos (2.5months?), so our guests were kind of tired of talking about it when we showed them, but other than that, they were very organized about their pricelist, and were very good at being in touch. If you want to impress your people, and want to be the COOLEST, we'll definitely recommand Atrero Photography!

Hands down our favorite vendor. During our preview of pictures we couldn't help but be transported back to the day of our wedding. We could remember the exact emotion we were feeling in all the photos. Ed and Karen are extremely talented in what they do and we are so lucky that they were the ones to capture our special day. They not only blew us away with their unique style and creative thinking, but our family and friends as well. And to top it all off, they are crazy awsome people. I highly recommend Atrero Photography!

I am extremely happy that we chose this dynamic husband and wife duo to document our wedding - each shot was outstanding as it told a story that was just so full of life and color. Ed and Karen not only photographed all the fun details of our Scrabble-themed wedding, but also eloquently captured the emotions of the day that allowed us to experience and relive the moment all over again. In addition, the enthusiasm that they had for us was appreciated. They listened to our needs, meet with us to get a sense of our personality and most imporantly, kept in good communication with me assuring our expectations were going to be met. (I knew we were in good hands!) All of this attention truly speaks to their level of quality, professionalism and genuine care they had in making us satisfied and happy customers...and indeed we were! Based in San Diego however, they'll gladly travel to LA/OC County for free. I listed photographs as my must during our initial budget. I searched the bridal boards for a wedding photographer who will fit our budget and style. However, I found that many were out of my price range or those in my price range were so-so. I wanted GREAT photos not so-so photos. Ed has a great eye for detail and is passionate about his work.

Ed and his wife are photography ninjas...need I say more? They shot beautiful pictures, and they stayed at our wedding two hours after we paid them to. They were super fun, and all of our guests loved them.

ed and karen are the top wedding photographers here in san diego. i've admired their work for years. if it was not for ed and karen, i would not be where i am at today. they have won many international awards which i am kinda jealous and happy for them at the same time. stop by their site and check it out for yourself. i promise you will not be disappointed.

Ed and Karen are two of the most creative photographers I know! They are master in manipulating lights and they can creative 'wow' images that I can never thought of shooting. They are so artistic!

There is just no controversy when it comes to their quality and workmanship. It would be very understated to simply say they are the BEST! But I will say it! Because they are!
