Falana made us an absolutely lovely wedding cake. We just sent her our invitation and told her to have fun making any design, and she made it beautiful! It was very modern and chic, but the best part was the delicious flavor. We had 2 tiers of tres leches and one tier of chocolate. The tres leches complimented our Mexican themed dinner, but the chocolate was everyone's favorite. It was super moist and rich, and I wish I had some right now! Falana was so nice and helpful too, delivering the cake to the event and she even showed me how to cut it. I reccomend her to anyone and everyone :)

Haute Cakes made the most beautiful cakes I had ever seen. Mine was a chocolate cake with white frosting. It was a three tier. What I remembered I liked most was they let me tell them what I wanted and they came up with the perfect cake for my wedding, it wasn't all I make the cake how I want it. One of the other things I liked about me cake was the taste. It was good, most cakes I tried were beutiful but tasted awful, mine however was delicious.

Falana is very very sweet. She was extremely creative and flexible with what we could and couldn't do with our cupcake tree. She made the most delicious Italian Cream Cake i've ever had in my life! She made our cupcake tree stand since she didn't have one big enough for all the guests we had. She's so laid back and we actually asked her to stay for the reception and she did! It was a blast and everyone loved the cake!

Private consultations are free, tastings have a fee, which is applied as a credit upon booking. Open house dates, do not require appointments and are held periodically. Open House dates are posted on our web site at http://www.CoutureDesserts.com.

Describe how you price, such as by slice or by tier, for your cakes?

Our focus is high quality, one-of-a-kind, custom-designed wedding and party cakes. Everything is made by hand, one cake at a time, with the freshest and the best tasting ingredients as possible. As such, there is not a set price list as each cake is priced according to individual client wants and needs, but we can create a fabulous cake with most budgets.

For budgeting purposes only, custom cakes start at $4.00, per person, plain, undecorated and not tiered.

Do you offer custom cakes, or do you work with pre-designed styles?

We can design any type of cake you would like, you can design it, or you may select from a photo. Cakes in magazines are approximately 25%-50% more than the average cake due to the design and detail.

What (if any) special ingredients, such as fresh fruits or farm-fresh butter, do you use in your cakes?

We use fresh, local, and premium ingredients whenever possible. We use 100% butter in all of our icings for the best flavor.

On average, how far in advance of the event do you prepare the cake?

Three days in advance.

How many cakes do you schedule for a typical weekend?

Will you work with the client's florist to garnish the cake?

We prefer that the florists leave the flowers for a Haute Cakes staff member to place on the cakes. The fewer people that touch the cake table, the better!

What (if any) cake accessories, such as a cake stand or cake cutter, do you rent out?

Yes, cake stand and cupcake stand, Fee is applied with a credit card held on file. Credit card will be charged a replacement fee if the items are not returned by designated deadline.

Do you offer delivery? If yes, how much is your average delivery fee?

$50 for one cake, $100 for two cakes, up to 30 miles. $2 per mile over 30 miles.
