Aaron was amazing! He was the first (and easiest) vendor we booked. We previously heard him at a few of our friends weddings, that when we got engaged, we called him immediately to make sure he was available. We booked him right away and didn't talk to him again until about a month prior to the wedding. He's very organized and kept our dance floor packed all night. We got raves about him after the wedding :)

UPDATE: Though Aaron was amazing at our wedding and a few others that we attended, I can no longer recommend Aaron in good faith. He was very unprofessional when he couldn't make it to my cousins wedding in September and left her in tears when the "replacement" DJ showed up 3 hours late. The replacement DJ was very inexperienced and unprofessional, my cousin had to cut out a lot of events (special dances) because there was no time and/or the DJ didn't have appropriate music. Aaron neglected to contact my cousin personally to apologize and my cousin is still fighting with him for a full refund.

I enjoyed working with Kristie and Aaron very much. I liked them right away because Aaron was willing to come to my home to meet me. Working full time, as the majority of brides do, it can be hard to arrange vendor appointments. Though Aaron is based out of the Murrieta/Temecula area he came up to Upland, approx. 30-45 minutes to meet me in the evening.

Like most brides my groom was not involoved in much of the planning process. So, my mom did my DJ vendor appointments with me. Both her and I liked him off the bat because we felt like we could be very honest and open with him. I only met with two DJ's before hiring Aaron and since my now husband was not present at those meetings I asked if they would be open to meeting him assuming I hired them. The other DJ basically said no, that assuming I hire him this is the only in person meeting we would have. When I asked Aaron that question he was very open to the idea and was willing to travel to Upland again! I think that speaks volumes as to he wanting to get to know you as a couple and not treat your wedding like it is just another gig!

I also appreciated the fact that he was the DJ I met with and the DJ that showed up. Even though I only met with 2 DJ's I contacted and talked to many of them by email. Often it seemed the DJ I hired is not who they assured would be the one to show up. Which left me feeling very unsure. It was nice to walk into the reception and recognize the person that was behind the DJ stand. Aaron assured me from the beginning that he would be MY DJ!

Kristie was also very patient with me as music was the one thing neither my husband or I did much about. Krisite called me the week of the wedding and we discussed what still needed to be done. I did the part I could take care of and she worked with my day of coordinator on the rest. I really appreciated her flexibility in letting my DOC communicate the timeline and a few other important details to her.

Having hired a DOC and having an onsite coordinator I didn't have to worry the day of about any of my vendors. All I know is when I walked into my reception Aaron was there playing the correct entrace song, and played the correct song selections for all of the other important dances.

He also made sure that we kept on track with the timeline. Our table visits were running long and even though we wanted to finish them Aaron knew the party had to keep going so that our guests wouldn't get bored! I really appreciated that because I didn't want my guests to feel that the reception was dragging on.

I hired Aaron to make sure the dance floor was full at all times, and the reception was a blast! I hired Aaron because I felt like he could read a crowd and know what would get them going. I actually think that the little to no guidance I provided turned out to be a good thing because he was able to do what he is good at, read a crowd and get them on the dance floor!

I would hire Aaron again!

We had a great experience with Authentic Sound DJ services. I was contemplating hiring a band, or maybe just have a friend put some songs on ITUNES but I am so glad I went w/ a DJ. It is just so much easier to have a professional worrying about the timing of thing and making announcements. His wife Kristie is a FANTASTIC business woman. I ended up hiring this DJ service b/c she was so prompt, accommodating and on top of things. She returned e-mails right away, followed up on everything and they have an online planning page where you enter all the information that the DJ needs to make an appropriate announcements like, how you want the grand entrance to go, etc... Also their price was so much more reasonable than all the others. When it came to the day of, their choice of songs and timing were great, no glitches in the music or delays. There was actually 2 guys - the DJ and maybe his assistant who actually made the announcements, and they were very professional. One thing I was worried about was an announcer who would be too over the top or tacky, or make the bride and groom feel embarrassed, but that was not the case. They did the job professionally and respect your requests for no chicken dance music!!

Aaron was wonderful and his wife Kristie was so easy to work with. Their planning site made planning our wedding so easy for us. Aaron played all of the music we wanted, and did great choosing the other pieces he played. Every special event and dance went so smoothly and went off without a hitch. Our venue required Aaron to use their speakers rather than his own (which we didnt know about until that day) and he rolled with the punches without a problem. Aaron was extremely well priced, and was worth way more than we paid!

We booked Authentic Sound for our wedding on July 11, 2008. We did not meet with them before our Wedding but were referred by our coordinator, Amanda Auer (In The Now Weddings) who had worked with them before and raved.
First, Kristie was extremely helpful and responsive via phone and e-mail leading up to the wedding (even the day before when we had some last minute changes).
At the wedding, Aaron was great! He was very attentive to the timeline and always consulted me if there might be a change. My husband and I didn't think that there would be many dancers but Aaron had almost everyone up and out of their seats! Many of our guests even commented, "Your DJ is really good - most wedding DJ's arent."
I would recommend Authentic Sound to anyone for their wedding or special event.

Kristie was very professional in the beginning, she was attentive and nice. She did show up to our wedding ceremony and reception which was good, but she has not sent us our wedding photos and she has violated her own contract of 4-8 weeks, we have been waiting for almost 4 months and no pics. The thing that worries me is that she even stopped responding to my emails and does not call me to let me know whats going on. I do believe she might not give me our photos but i hope im wrong, i would love to see our wedding photos, so if you are reading this Kristie please email me or call me and let me know when you will send them out. Please!

I would highly recommend Authentic Sound Mobile DJ’s to anyone! Thanks to Kristie’s help with the planning process and Aaron’s DJ skills my guests and I danced the night away and had the time of our lives! From the start Kristie’s professionalism and flexibility were outstanding. Planning an out-of-state wedding was so difficult but Kristie was one of my favorite vendors. Since I was out-of-state I didn’t meet Aaron until right before he was going to announce my husband and I to the reception. Aaron was highly professional but also really warm and friendly – I felt as if we were old friends and was immediately comfortable with him. The night was amazing thanks to Authentic Sound Mobile DJ’s – I’ve received so many compliments from my guests and a couple who were at my wedding is already planning to have Aaron DJ their wedding!

Authentic Sounds is, hands down, the BEST DJ service I have ever seen! I am so glad my friend referred them because Aaron and Kristie were amazing! Kristie is extremely organized and was always available for questions. Their website made it so easy for us to choose our music!
I can't say enough about Aaron. I wish I could write the right words to get everyone to book him! I received countless compliments about him on my wedding day. Even my coordinator said he was the best DJ she'd ever seen!
Aaron kept everyone on the dance floor even though we had an afternoon wedding. He knew exactly what to play to keep both the younger and older crowd entertained and on their feet.

We used Aaron for our wedding and got nothing but compliments about him. Him and his wife make a great team and are very organized. He even accommodated a last minute request to put up a microphone and speakers at our ceremony. A couple of our guests made some random song requests and were shocked that he not only knew what they were talking about, but had the song on hand ready to play. He also helped put me at ease before the ceremony by playing a few funs songs for me and my girls.
