I had hair down to my waist..and I wanted to wear it partially down for my wedding. I didn't really have too many ideas, so I went to Aveda, and we tried many different styles, perfecting it until it was exactly right. On my wedding day, I had a great time there, while they worked on my hair to make it just right! It didn't look weighed down with products or pins (even though there was a ton of both), so it looks beautifully natural....it held the style the entire day and night...through the ceremony, the wind and cold during outside photos, all the dancing at the reception and the after party!

I knew an Aveda student in my city of residence that had family in the city I was to be married in...and she offered to do my hair as a wedding gift if she had the opportunity to do the hair for the rest of my large party of 6 bridesmaids, 2 juniors, 1 flower girl, & a few close friends. I let the stylist choose the hair style that would best go with the veil I had chosen and I loved all the mock-ups she did for me, but the style on the day of the wedding was by far the most amazing I had seen! I would definately recommend Aveda salons or schools for professional services.
