Belle Terrace at Avon Old Farms

Loved the venue. Christine can have an attitude but overall everything was fine.

Christine was very great to work with, our tasting was amazing and, the venue is beautiful but we were very disappointed on the day of our wedding. Unfortunately, the food was not good at all. The portions served were much smaller then what we were served at our tasting and it came out very late. They even ran out of bread for our guests. They seemed short on staff. We only had one bartender for 180 people but were told that there would be two. Our bridal suite was not staffed well at all and our guests were locked out (in the rain) when we were told that they would be let in at a certain time. We expressed how we felt and that we paid for services that were not provided yet we were not offered any kind of reimbursement. It may not have been their intent but we do feel as if were ripped off. Be careful when working with Belle Terrace. I would suggest not making full payment prior to the day of the wedding. Keep a percentage and make sure that you receive all services that were agreed on in your contract.

The staff at Belle Terrace are top notch, and can't be beat at what they do, or the services they provide. It was so easy, from the first meeting/tour, to work with Christine Mola and the rest of the staff, and I felt completely supported and taken care of right to the very end.

They take care of it all -- and make it so easy for you, it's just incredible. The food is AMAZING, our guests keep telling me it's the best food they've ever had at a wedding, and I would certainly agree! Their staff are all nice, efficient, and seem to really enjoy what they do.

Our day was perfect, and I can't imagine it going any smoother anywhere else. Make sure you check out Belle Terrace at Avon Old Farms for an evening that deserves to be unforgettable!

I absolutely couldn't have had a better experience on my wedding day because of the amazing people at this venue. They were willing to accommodate all of my needs and wishes for my special day and the venue is breath beautiful.

We were married outside at the inn, and we held our reception on the restaurant side. The inn is beautiful and unique - not your standard ballroom. There were a few issues however. The restaurant side is an historic site and the air conditioning is lacking. It was exceptionally hot and humid inside with 100 guests. The fans that they brought out helped, but it was definitely uncomfortable. I would recommend the inn for a fall or winter wedding.

Our Wedding at Avon Old Farms Inn was beautiful. The food was delicious and the staff awesome. If you are looking for a cozy, New Englandy, unique wedding venue - this is the place!

I had an absolute amazing time planning my wedding with Cristine @ Avon Old Farms Inn. They were attentive, helpful, and professional. I couldn't have asked for better service!

They did a fantastic job with everything and have an incredible package that includes 3 dinner options, 8 hot hand passed hors devours, a top-shelf open bar, a fruit and cheese display, the centerpieces, the wedding cake, and a in-house wedding coordinator. They also have a tasting for your salad and dinners, and you can get a sample of the wedding cake you choose.And on the day of your wedding, you have a bridal suite upstairs that you can relax in complete with a bathroom, and an extra waitstaff person to bring you drinks, and hors devours. My wedding there was amazing, and I didn't have to worry about a thing for my reception.

Very responsive with concerns; beautiful hall - but don't beleive everything they promise you. We were promised an attendant in our bridal suite and a fully stocked suite with our own appetizers, but instead got the banquet manager running up and down the stairs with tiny cocktail plates of hor deurves. Not what I was picturing and we felt bad asking him for stuff. Also, we were promised chocolates at the end of the reception with our names on them- instead we got just regular pasteries. However, food was decent and the rooms were nice and clean.

I used them before they seemed to have undergone a management shift. The planner I used is no longer there, but she was excellent. They did a good job about having most everything I gave instruction, but there were some problems with our open bar situation. The beer we purchased exclusive for my husband and the groomsmen was given to the guests, the originally agreed upon charges and substitutes were not considered when I got my final bill. (They weren't very good with contract followups) While nothing that occured was major to me, The responsiveness wasn't always prompt when I called or emailed questions as well, so while they were lovely for food, for the site and overall all my vendors loved dealing with my lady, I am not sure how things have changed with new management.

A great location for a wedding ceremony and reception. Spectacular views!
