I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Robert Valdes Photography! We've booked them for our wedding and recently had our e-pics done by them. Robert Valdes is extremely professional, a great communicator, and best of all, a talented photographer! Everyone (including FI and myself) are so impressed by the e-pics. I'm looking forward to working with him again at our wedding!

Their website is also very thurough and helpful. They truly have a package to fit anyone's needs. Also, don't hesitate to customize packages...we did :) Being on a budget, Robert is very reasonable, especially considering the quality!

Robert is an absolutely amazing photographer and an overall creative person. I couldn't believe all of the stuff he is into. Anyway, we hired him after seeing about 6 other photographers. Many others we saw had similar style and quality but were way more expensive. Part of the reason why Robert is cheaper is because he also does video (although we haven't decided whether we want video or not) and he has other photographers that work for him. He says this keeps the price low but the brides that book first get him.

We'll be doing our engagement pics early next year and I will post some of them in my bio as soon as I get them.

I recently hired Robert for my videography. When I got to their studio I didn't realize that they also did photography. Unfortunately, I had already gotten my photographer (a friend of the family that does it professionally in LA). If my photographer falls through then I would definitely use them for photography as well. They really seem like they understand both the photo and video and that understanding of how each one works makes the overall product better. A++

Planning my California wedding was frustrating; I was living in Honolulu and had to research all of my vendors on the internet. Needless to say this was difficult because of the time difference and the fact that some businesses don’t check their emails....then I found Robert Valdes. He IMMEDIATLEY called me back with quotes and promised to save the date.

When I finally met Robert he was fun and likeable; he didn't rush the meeting, offered suggestions, LISTENED, and even gave me a CD of him singing (more about this later). His wedding albums were so beautiful I purchased one. A really neat metallic hardcover album…..cool.
The day of he was professional and RELAXED, which made me relaxed. He immediately posted our photos on the internet and mailed us a CD. His photos were so pretty and artsy, yet conservative enough that we could frame them.

Anyways, about the singing. Robert mentioned that he dabbled in some singing and gave me his CD. It was really nice, however I didn’t think to ask him to sing at our wedding. Big mistake. Towards the end of the night he picked up the mike and belted out Journey’s “Faithfully”. It was so cool. The funny thing was, the next day on our way to the airport I heard it on the radio and smiled. It was definitely one of the obscure things from your wedding day that stick happily in your memory. One of my biggest regrets is that I didn’t have him sing a little more during the evening. Damn.

Thank you Robert, for helping us with our day. I know you see a million weddings, but we will only have our one, and your beautiful pictures will help us remember it forever.

We just got our layout for our wedding album and it looked great! Robert did a fantastic job with the layouts and showcased each photo perfectly. Also, he asked for any suggestions for changes to the layouts, which shows that he does value our opinions as well. We can't wait to see the final product and know that it'll be fantastic!

I went with Robert because we hired them for our videography. But after looking at many photographers, we decided to use Robert for the photos as well because there would be a discount for booking both, and of course their photos are great too. Honestly, the video was more important to me so another reason I wanted Robert photo was so that the photographer would not hinder the videographer's ability to shoot.

My wife LOVES the photography. More so than the video. I also enjoy the photography but I am still more into the video but am happy that we decided to use Robert for both because it made both our lives so much easier. If you really care about the video, hire them to do both because the horror stories you have heard about photographers and videographers not getting along are true (It happened at my friends down in LA. He had two different people who never worked together before and it was BAD).

Robert is the absolute best of the best. Our photos are very important to us, like most couples. We put alot of time and effort into choosing. The albums he shows at his studio are amazing. He is very easy to talk to and comes across as confident, but not cocky or conceided. The pricing is midrange but you get bang for your buck. For $7k we are getting two photographers, wedding album, two parents albums, e-pics, all our original pics on a cd and some other things I can't think of right now.

We're both excited to have Robert at our wedding.

Robert provided photo and video for our wedding. From the first day we met Robert, we felt comfortable and worry-free. I tend to be very picky and tedious about things but Robert was able to cater to my unique needs every step of the way. Even as the scope of my initial requests changed to the point where it wasn't part of our original agreement, Robert was not only willing but happy to accommodate us. He did his best to explain the process and to educate us along the way. When the of the wedding came, we had no worries that Robert and his staff would take care of everything...and they did. We love reliving our special day with our album and video.

We got married a few years ago and had the great pleasure of meeting Robert to photograph our wedding. Not only did he walk us through what shots were the best to get to really capture the day, he delivered above and beyond everything he told us! My wedding album really tells the story of the day and we were so excited to be able to see our pictures online while on our Honeymoon. We had our wedding on September 8. Robert did an amazing job. The photos were fantastic. We just saw our album preview and it looks great!We can't wait to get the album. Robert is easy to deal with and blended in great with our small, intimate wedding. He was not overbearing but got some great shots.

Robert's photos were breathtaking. We got married at the Auberge Du Soleil in Rutherford and his images showed the beauty of this wonderful venue. I really loved the black and white film and although I wasn't expecting any, I was happy to have had it.

We found Robert thru theknot.com. We met him at his studio in San Mateo. We booked him after two meetings. He has a very comfortable personality and he made us feel both at ease. We're really happy with the choice so far. All of his images and albums are top notch. We have our e-pics coming up and I will give a review on that once we see them.

Words cannot describe the joy I am feeling as I look at my finished wedding album. The photos are amazing, as is the magazine style designed pages. But, all along I never had any doubt that I would love my wedding photographs. I think the joy is more related to the fact that I not only found a great artist to work with, but I also found a friend and someone I could trust as well. And Robert, that is what you have been to me from the beginning. From my first phone call, to our first meeting, right down thru the wedding where you treated everyone, including my overbearing Mother, with the utmost respect and courtesy. I had heard horror stories about photographers that stress out there brides and I am lucky that I found you because you went out of your way to make sure I was relaxed and happy on my wedding day (You have no doubt learned much about how to behave in your 15+ years doing this). When I took my time to pick the images for the album, you kindly reminded me to do so, but did not rush me. As you know, we looked at many photographers and many of them had great work. But the manner with which you carry yourself was the deciding factor in us using you. And we are glad that we made the right choice! Feel free to use us as reference for any bride needing one.

Dear Robert,

When we arrived home from our honeymoon, we had the pleasant surprise of finding our DVD Negatives in our mailbox. I was already on wedding overload so I decided to wait and view them the next day. But my "Husband" (still getting use to that!) insisted we take a peek. All I can say is that the images are AMAZING! They made me remember things that I had already forgotten. Ken was also thankful that you didn't make him look like a sissy in the pre posed shots and was relieved when I was so happy about the photos. Now to the arduous task of picking our favorites for the wonderful album I know you will make for us. You took so many good ones that it's going to be hard to narrow them down.....Thanks again Robert and we'll be in touch.
