Brian Farnum captured every moment of our special day! Even traveled to our 2 separate locations in Keene NH to get both the girls and the guys getting ready. We STILL get compliments on our wedding pictures and I highly recommend him to all my friends and family. He fit right in with our group like he was a part of our family! We love you B!! Brian was amazing! Everyone raved about our photographer, his professionalism, non-invasiveness, attitude, and smile!! Brian made each and everyone of us feel like a rock star. He was so much fun and upbeat! I would HIGHLY reccommend his services, and wish I could do wedding day all over again just to work with him!!

We had a fantastic time working with Brian. He was very flexible for meetings and even dropped off the final prints at my parents when I was away at after the wedding. During the wedding, everyone enjoyed working with him and the whole process was just very simple and relaxed. Thank you!

I can not say enough good things about Brian Farnum. He truly made captured our engagement photos, rehearsal dinner and wedding day photos in a way that no one else could. Not only were we overjoyed with the way each of the photo's came out, but our family and friends were impressed as well. As our family grows we intend to call on Brian for many years to come.

As a Vermont Wedding Photographer Brian, uses the beautiful surroundings of Vermont to enhance your photographs. Nature is the best backdrop. Brian is a fun loving photographer, who keeps moving the entire time, never intrusive just capturing your day.

Located in West Rutland, Vermont but service areas all over Vermont such as Burlington, Middlebury, Rutland, Manchester and Bennington.

What primary photographic style do you identify with?

Contemporary, Photojournalism, Portraiture

What do your packages include?

Albums, Digital Files, High Resolution Images, Matted Prints, Prints, Proof CD of All Images, Thank You Cards

Do you have liability insurance?

Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?

Yes, selective coloring can be done.

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?

From a dimly lit church, to the full sun outdoors and everything in between.

Is your media preference film or digital?

Digital for most everything, I love black & white film. I try to shoot at least one roll of film each wedding.

How many photographers do you work with?

If included in the package, I have at least one other photographer who accompanies me to a wedding.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

To the best of my human abilities, I have never missed a date yet.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

No, I never book to jobs in one day. I have done two weddings in a weekend.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

Yes, I have two photographers who can fill in for me if there is an emergency.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

Two camera bodies, multiple lenses, flash units, continuous lighting only if needed, light meters and so much more.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

Yes, always. You have to be prepared for anything.

Do you charge hourly or full day?

I charge my the package that is chosen, I try to work with my couples the best I can. To make sure they are getting what they truly want.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

I am available to shoot extra hours, my rate for overage is $150.00

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

I generally take one break and this is when all of the wedding guests are eating, because I find most often that individuals do not like having their photos taken, while eating.

Do you charge for travel?

It depends on the distance

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

Usually within 2 weeks

In what format are the initial proofs offered?

Online through a passworded link to my website.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

Yes, the client has personal printing rights and get a copy of the edited full resolution photos.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?

Yes, but I always ask before doing so.

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?

Yes, digital files in high resolution will be provided.
