Barbara and George did a wonderful job with our flowers. I could not be happier! They perfectly interpreted our vision and the value was tremendous for a Boston florist.

Barbara showed her talent and unending patience as we prepared for my daughter's wedding. She listened to what my daughter wanted, what I would like to see and created an amazingly beautiful flower experience for us. Every change called in was graciously accepted and encorporated flawlessly. Delivery was right on time, well coordinated and beyond expectation as Barbara helped to plan the entire distribution of the flowers right down to pinning them on the ushers. We could not have asked for more. The flowers were beautiful and, as a side note, well treated so that they dried beautifully. I and others are able to still enjoy them today. Thank you Barbara for the obvious passion you have for your work and for making the bride's experience so perfect.

My niece, Kimberlee & husband, Dan's wedding was pre-hurricane Irene, necessitating a change from an outdoor to indoor setting, a great disappointment especially for Kim.

From the minute we met with Barbara to the very end of the wedding reception, every single petal or leaf on each flower was perfectly selected and arranged, just as we had discussed! Choosing Sawin Florist was a wise decision on our part! They were not only willing, but extremely flexible in adding or subtracting, redesigning and coordinating each bridesmaid's bouquet, table arrangements and church decor for our wedding. Very close to the wedding, we decided to have the front reception table decorated with a gorgeous tall branch grouping, dripping with crystals and candles. What a dramatic effect this made to welcome our guests to the reception. You won't be sorry you chose B & G Sawin to select and arrange flowers for your wedding since you could spend more elsewhere, but won't be as satisfied!

My husband and I learned of Barbara and George Sawin through the Allston Open Studios a year prior to planning our wedding, and I knew right away I had found the florist for my wedding after seeing samples of their work in their professional studio space. Barbara’s tenured experienced and easy-going nature made decisions about the floral arrangements a breeze. We spoke openly and comfortably of my budget, and kept all costs right on track. When I suggested a floral variety for my bouquet that wasn’t in season (peonies), Barbara would have been able to get them, and she also offered a cost-effective alternative that was almost identical in style. I was very grateful for the two options.

My wedding was non-traditional (cocktail party-style) and required a variety of different-sized arrangements, including a chuppah. Not only did Barbara's designs match my vision and the venue, but her and George's execution was seamless. All the arrangements were perfectly placed when we arrived. After the ceremony when the ceremony space needed to be "turned over", they helped move the arrangements and break-down the chuppah for party-time without guests being aware of the hard work occurring behind the scenes. Throughout the night, the arrangements and bouquets held up beautifully, and looked just as great as they did when we first arrived at the venue. Low maintenance and open to my ideas. I wasn't too specific and was incredibly pleased with my floral arrangements. I felt like I didn't have to worry about anything.

b&g supplied the flowers for a wedding up in boston that i was a photographer at and they did a great job. they took care of the outdoor ceremony (which was actually an outdoor theater) and did it perfectly. the flowers looked like they fit just right and they utilized the outdoor space very well. nice job....
