My wedding was 3 days ago, and we booked Scott to be our DJ at our reception. He was absolutely amazing! He knew how to get everyone involved and dancing, he played songs that the crowd loved, and made sure I didn't have to worry about a thing so I could enjoy my night. I highly recommend Scott and Backthird Entertainment!!

I cannot say enough good things about Backthird Entertainment. For our wedding we chose the DJ+ option and it was just perfect for our needs. The combination of live music and DJ's is a brillant idea and made for extremely convenient one stop shopping! We had a string trio for our ceremony, a solo keyboardist for cocktail hour, a jazz trio for dinner and a DJ for dancing- all under one roof, one contract, one vendor to keep track of! Each of the groups performed beautifully and our DJ kept the dance floor PACKED (no exaggeration) all night long. Even the captain at our reception hall said that he has never seen a dance floor that full for that long. Backthird went out of their way to accommodate us and keep the whole process worry free for me. I highly recommend Backthird Entertainment, they truly made our special day even that more special.

We used Backthird Events for our ceremony and reception! They were amazing! It's been over a month since our wedding and we still get compliments on how awesome the music was. I would't have picked anyone else. They were great to work with and very flexible.

We LOVED them! We were able to have live music for the Ceremony and a DJ for our reception, and I really didn't have to do much. All I did was tell them the few things I absolutely wanted and they came up with the rest! When they announced everyone, it was the first time in my 26 years I had ever hear my parents last name (my maiden name) pronounced correctly (And that is saying a lot...my mom worked at our elementary school and my brother and I both attended the same district K-12 and NOT ONCE did they get our name right!!!!)...the DJ, Chris, made sure he knew how to say everyone's name before introducing us! I didn't have much time to sit in front of my computer, so Benjie called me and went through everything on the phone so I didn't have to find time to do one for thing...they took care of it all! It was SO wonderful not having to coordinate 2 companies, they did both for us! Thank you SO much!!!! We will be calling them back again when we celebrate my parents� 30th anniversary!

Our DJ from Backthird Events was awesome! He met with us a few weeks before the wedding to help us plan the reception music and completely delivered on his promise for a great reception. We didn't have to worry about a thing as far as the music went at all during our reception. Several of our guests also commented on how great the music was! We would highly recommend Backthird Events to anyone.

Scott was a wonderful DJ. He kept the party going all night long and kept all ages dancing. Benji was also very easy to coordinate with. A great great experience. I would recommend them to my sister!!

We were VERY happy with the service provided by Backthird. We had a 3 piece trio perform our ceremony music and they did a fantastic job. We also had a DJ for our reception named Scott who was awesome. He played all the requests that we wanted and also played a lot of songs that kept everyone on the dance floor. Plus he was just a great guy. We talked with a lot of companies before decided to use Backthird but we really liked their personal service and the level of attention they provided. It was a real convenience to be able to book the trio and the DJ through one company and their prices were very resonable.

I had started working with them at about ten months before my wedding. The manager Benjie was great!! He was so accomadating! The day of they definitely worked hard and made the day go by very smooth. The music was awesome. My guests were dancing all night. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone.

We used a DJ and a pianist for our ceremony, and hired them both thru back third. Benji from backthird did an amazing job with availablity and followup, and the DJ and pianist did not dissapoint. The music was magical, and our DJ took a bunch of people that I never thought would dance, and had them dancing all night.

They were fantastic to work with. I got so many compliments on the great D.J. and his music selections from guests. I couldn't be happier. I also used them for a jazz trio during my cocktail hour. They provided great ambiance and character to that time. Also a big hit!

We had Back Third Entertainment provide our ceremony music, cocktail hour music, and live band and DJ for our reception. The service was great. We worked very closely with Benji to coordinate all details, and he was great to work with. He was very receptive to our wishes, but also had great suggestions based on his experience. Our guests loved the live band during the reception. Back Third is a great vendor to work with and we highly recommend them for your wedding.

Backthird events was awesome! The owner Benjie was very responsive, called back almost immediately every time we tried to get a hold of him, and was just a great guy. We went with strings for the ceremony and DJ for the cocktail hour and reception. Much as we would've liked to, it would've been too costly to go with the full package with DJ and band.

Chris (our DJ) was amazing! We were impressed by his enthusiasm and the time and effort he placed in getting all the details right - this includes the music, all the names, all the technical sound stuff. He even got out on the dance floor and led the crowd in song and dance. At one point, we looked around and realized that no one was sitting down and everyone was on the dance floor. When does that ever happen at a wedding? We can't tell you how many people told us, "your DJ is awesome!"

We couldn't have been happier with Backthird events, and would highly recommend them to anybody who's getting married in the Chicago area!

Our main focus for the reception was that everyone would enjoy themselves completely and remember the evening as a wonderfully unique night on the town - Back Third helped us conquer that! All of our guests couldn't stop telling us what a great time they had, and more than a few people commented, "Now THAT was a wedding."

The flow of the Total Package (DJ/band) was seamless, and people were dancing from start to finish (especially me!). It was AWESOME to see everyone on the dance floor - even those we didn't expect! Benjie was GREAT to work with, and everyone was fantastic throughout my experience - it was literally effortless because I was NOT an articulate bride, though I knew where to spend my focus. If dancing, entertainment and a fantastically enjoyable evening are your top priority, BOOK THEM. I know that you won't be dissapointed. :)
