Bob Romeo is wonderful! He works with you to make sure the music and everything is the way you want it. Makes suggestions, takes requests. Offers extra services, like sound bites, words of wisdom, etc. Quickly responds to email and voice mail. Backtrax is great! I highly recommend.

Glenn was really amazing he played all the music we asked and did such a good job getting everyone on the dance floor. We were so happy with the music. A reception isn't a party until you find the perfect DJ and we truely believe that we found ours. Thanks again for making it so special!

Bob was such an amazing DJ for our wedding. In our consultation, he spent two and a half hours with my fiance and I planning every aspect of the music selection and getting to know us as a couple. After that meeting we had total confidence that he understood who were were and that the music choices at the reception would reflect that. He even called me the week of my wedding, just to check in to see if I needed anything. That was great personalized service! As a result of all of his careful planning, and attention to detail, every guest at our reception, from young to old, danced the night away!

The quality of Bob's service was excellent. We did not have any problems with his responsiveness; e-mails go directly to his cell phone so he often responded to our inquiries right away. His professionalism was top-notch. He was the only one of our vendors in a tuxedo which we really appreciated!! As for his flexibility, he created several unique "introduction songs" for our parents, bridal party and for us upon our request which we thought was very nice. He arrived on time, his music was never too loud, he always had guests on the dance floor and he was courteous and polite on the microphone. Also, Bob was our most organized vendor and it really showed on our wedding day. He mastered all of the details of the day (since he was our DJ for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception) and the pronunciation of everyone's names during their introductions. We would recommend Bob in a heartbeat!

Bob was recommended by our venue and initially upon meeting with him and signing the contract and doing our consultation with him, we were incredibly impressed. His rates were reasonable (at least in comparison to other djs), he seemed to know the business, and he was highly recommended by the venue. However, that all disappeared on the wedding night. As the bride I missed most of the ceremony music because I was waiting in hiding so I cannot comment on how that went. The reception, however, I was incredibly disappointed in. Despite the fact that we stated that we wanted a good mix of popular music to dance to and country songs for slow dances, the music played was mostly terribly outdated and not at all popular with the guests that we had there. We had kids that we tried to keep on the dance floor and the songs they were dancing to, he would cut off and play a slow song to. At one point, the turning point of the whole night for me, he stated on the mic to my guests to "make sure to take care of your waiters and waitresses at the end of the night." This was incredibly embarrassing for us as we had gratuity built into our contract and all tips had been pre-paid. Being that he works this venue often, he should have or did know this and still said this to all of my guests. After my parents approached him about this, I found that his behavior was unprofessional and he was rude and very much "what do you want me to do about it?!" After some time, he did apologize and try to explain himself but you cannot undue something that's already been done. I had no warning for things that were about to happen (like the bouquet toss and the garter toss) and was incredibly unprepared and looked stupid to my guests as they were playing the song that I had to toss my bouquet to and I had to quickly not only find the bouquet but put the garter on. Overall, we were incredibly disappointed with this service. It really put a damper on an otherwise incredibly beautiful day. We would not recommend it to anyone in the future.

edit: this is in response to Bob's comment so everyone can know of this man's "professionalism." --- since my event, Bob has not contacted me ONCE to apologize. Instead he replies here that the reason things didn't go right is my fault. What a joke. It's my fault that the man embarrassed myself and my family to all of my guests? It's my fault that the music he played was old and outdated and not what we had requested? It's my fault that he didn't tell me when things were coming up so I was prepared? I was there to enjoy my wedding and was enjoying it until he started things on a downward spiral. I have left glowing reviews for every single one of my other vendors as they were great! Bob, on the other hand, was not and has continued to show his unprofessionalism after the event by not only not apologizing but replying here that we were the ones in the wrong. He wants to talk about me getting publicly upset?! He's right. After he told my GUESTS to tip their waiters and waitresses, I had to LEAVE my guests to speak to my parents about the situation and then when my parents confronted him so I could try to enjoy my wedding, he was rude not only to me, but to my parents. Unbelievable. I am a real person and this is a real review and he wants to save face by saying it's my fault, but this is exactly what...
