Initially, we were very excited about our cake. We had picked out 2 top contenders for the baker, Robert, to make. We met with him and he talked us out of one of them, saying it was way too complicated, even though the price to make the cake was outside our package from our venue and more expensive than we wanted to spend.
We chose a nice delicate cake style with off white butter cream icing and red velvet cake. There were two flower colors to add to the cake and we would have like to use real flowers, but they insisted they didn't like to use anything fake on the cake and it would look real.
In the end, the cake did not match our photo at all, the colors looked like some kid's cartoon and were the complete opposite of what we wanted. Our bridal party even came up to us during the reception and asked if that was really our cake because it didn't seem like our style.
The other thing that really bothered us, was that we gave specific instructions to Robert and he would not reply from his email, and rather an assistant would return the emails, we assume this is the same person making the cake who did not understand the instructions on color. We would not use them again and are trying to figure out a way for our photographer to change the coloring on our photos for the cake cutting... not cool.

The venue contracted with this bakery, and initially we were nervous. Cake and filling were delicious, rare for weddings but these guys know how to do it right.

The cake was beautiful and tasted good but the shape was wrong. After speaking to them after the wedding to find out what happend the baker was very rude and just did not seem to care that a mistake was made. I would not use them or recommend them to anyone.

Baked to Perfection is a little more expensive than some other vendors we looked at, but we were so happy with our cake. It was a chocolate cake with white icing and chocolate filling. All my guests loved the cake and we were very happy with them as well.

I have never tasted a wedding cake that i liked, except the cake made by baked to perfection. The venue crescent beach club uses this baker for their wedding cakes. It looked beautiful and tasted amazing,.
We chose red velvet cake with cream cheese filling and swiss buttercream icing. It was irredescent pink multitiered and had white chocolated shells all over it...it was amazing...would love a piece right now. Amazing wedding cake...donna and gary

People are still raving about my wedding cake! This bakery is AMAZING. The chef, Robert, is a little quirky, but very likable, and the man knows what he's doing! He was most accommodating but also quick to let us know why he thought some of our ideas may not be the way to go (e.g., he was pretty adamant that the wedding cake be just one flavor, for a variety of reasons--he made it make total sense, and nobody seemed upset by it!). We went with red velvet, which was never my favorite until I tasted his--it was so light, and SO good. Everybody loved it--a friend of mine admitted he inhaled EIGHT pieces at the reception! It was so fresh and moist. We were thrilled to have some to take home, and the leftovers didn't last long! In terms of what the cake looked like, we gave Robert a photo of a cake we loved, and he replicated it perfectly--white four-tier cake with fondant grapes cascading it. It was a little warm on our wedding day, so the grapes didn't hold up perfectly, but it still looked fabulous. I recommend Baked to Perfection most highly! We also got to sample some of their regular bakery products--I don't think the man makes a bad baked good. Everything was fantastic!

Our cake was just as delicious as it was beautiful. It was a shame to have to cut into it. Baked to Perfection also made the Groom's cake for our rehearsal, as well as the cakes for my shower and my sister's shower. All received rave reviews from our guests.

We had over a hundred beautiful cupcakes with wildflowers of different colors topping each one. No yucky fondant--this bakery uses real melted chocolate or white chocolate. The flowers were yummy buttercream and there was a surprise filling in each! They made a matching mini cake for us to cut as well! AMAZING! Everyone raved about the delicious dessert! Delivered as promised - PERFECTION!
