Bakers of Buffington

They are fabulous!! This vendor was required by our venue and I was a little nervous because I had not used them before. My feelings quickly turned when I went there to discuss my wedding cake ideas. They had many options to choose from and their prices were extremely reasonable. I chose a chocolate chip cake with chocolate icing in the middle. It was FABULOUS and super yummy!!! I made sure to eat this cake at the wedding!!! I am getting hungry just talking about it now - LOL. Hope this helps :)

Delicious cake, beautifully made. We were very happy with our choice of Bakers of Buffington. When you walk into the shop the smell alone hypnotizes you. We went with a rather simple design (buttercream frosting with decorative swirls, 3 tiers for 150 people), but they worked with our florist to put real floral decorations on the cake and it looked beautiful - simple but elegant. I was afraid the cake/frosting would melt in the summer heat but it held up just fine.

Did I mention the cake tastes awesome? Not just another pretty face, here. You actually want to EAT this cake the minute you see/smell it. Hmmm...Now I'm craving some Bakers of Buffington goodies...

Bakers of Buffington is amazing! We only met with them once but they knew exactly what look we were going for! They called to confirm everything a few weeks before the wedding and we didn't have to worry about a thing after that! They delivered it on the wedding day and once I saw it, I almost cried with how perfect it was! not to mention, they make the most delicious cakes!

I would recommend Bakers of Buffington to anyone needing a cake for any event! We got so many compliments on our cake and it tasted so so good!! Everyone there is very nice and really loves what they do!

Bakers of Buffington recently made our wedding cake for us for our October wedding. It was so beautiful, and EXACTLY what we were hoping for. I was so pleased with my wedding cake-the taste, the design & the look, it was one of my favorite parts of the wedding day! They were also very easy to work with, and the cake was DELICIOUS!!! I will be calling Bakers of Buffington my new hometown bakery!

Our wedding cake was delicious! The cake (almond with almond filling) was very moist and fresh. It looked beautiful! If you can work around their hours, they are an amazing bakery!

Our cake was beautiful and delicious! Our experience was very positive! Getting a cake is a leap of faith, as you don't know exactly what it will look like until that day. I was not disappointed, as it was exactly what I wanted, but even more beautiful. The cake was delicious!!!

For me, the wedding cake has two criteria -- taste great and look fabulous. These folks did both. Their photographs of previous wedding cakes are huge. Their selection process is made easier by samples. They were on time with the delivery of a gorgeous cake in perfect condition. Our guests loved the cake -- I think there were only a handful of plates with ANY cake left on them! I will use them for birthdays and other special occasions.

Amazing cake! Everyone told me to go here for my wedding cake because the cake is so moist. It's not dry. My cake was exactly what I asked for. This bakery does not have a permit to serve food on site, which is why you have to take the sample cakes home. The sample cakes are huge. A few pounds each. If you want a third sample cake it's only $4. Highly recommend! I only wish I would have known about them sooner because I would get a cake for them for every occasion. Too bad I don't live in the state anymore. Definitely re-ordering my cake for my one year anniversary! Can't wait!

I used this bakery ONLY because they had a contract with our caterer! I found them expensive, unprofessional and disorganized. We were never given confirmation phone calls or the name of a contact person. They sent me to McDonald's to pee after a 90 minute drive to our consultation because the bakery has no guest bathroom. I TWICE requested no edible glitter on the cake as I am unable to eat it for dietary reasons, yet it was put on the cake anyway and I was unable to eat my own wedding cake. Do not recommend!

The wedding cake came with the package at our reception venue (Meredith Manor), so we didn't have to shop around for a baker.We were very happy that Bakers of Buffington turned out to have great customer service and, more importantly, delicious and amazing looking cakes.When we went to the store to pick up our samples, we met with Amanda to discuss the style of cake we wanted. After we left there I was having second thoughts and ended up emailing her to ask some questions about a different cake design. Amanda was amazingly helpful and very patient with all of our questions. They are very flexible about cake flavors; and let you pick out a different cake flavor and 2 different fillings for each layer. When we walked into the reception and i saw how our wedding cake turned out i couldnt have been more pleased- Highly recommended!

When we went to the store to pick up our samples, we met with one of the consultants to discuss the style of cake we wanted. I gave them a color swatch from my bridesmaid's dresses and a picture of my gown. They were able to replicate the embroidered details on my dress and the color of the swatch perfectly. They are also very flexible about cake flavors; you can pick a different cake flavor and 2 different fillings for each layer. I am normally not a big fan of the taste of wedding cake, but fortunately I enjoyed my own very much. Highly recommended!

Bakers of Buffington made my wedding and grooms cake. Both were beautiful and tasted great. I could not have been happier.

Everyone agreed that our cake was one of the best they had ever tasted. An excellent job was done at copying the theme of the custom cake topper onto the cake.

Beautiful cake! I was very impressed by the quality provided by Bakers of Buffington. My cake was simply gorgeous.

My mom decided to go with bakers of buffington for my wedding because we got my cousin's cake from there. I wasn't too impressed with their work. We gave them two pictures of cakes that look similiar for them to replicate. They said they could do it. On the day of the cake looked NOTHING like what I provided..not even close. Do not get me wrong the cake is good but they are not as skilled as others. If you want a real pretty cake do not go here but if that doesn't matter to you and the taste is what matters by all means use them.

Mmy cake was absolutely beautiful. There were no surprises! It tasted wonderful, look exactly as we designed cost as much as we agreed. We were able to add a sheet cake for the back as our number rose. I got so many wonderful compliments on it! PERFECT!

My cake was beautiful and tasted great! It was a three tier square cake with fondant ribbon and white scrollwork. They were so easy to work with, and the cake was included in Meredith Manor's package so I only paid $110 extra for the detailing and fondant ribbon. Great Deal!

Bakers of Buffington was more than willing to work with us to make our cake unique and exactly what we asked for. They didn't throw in a bunch of extra charges, and were fair and helpful.

Bakers of Buffington was fabulous! We brought in a photo of a cake we liked and Bakers of Buffington made the cake to look identical, and it tasted absolutely fantastic. Everything was done professionally, and the price was absolutely right!

Talk about Downingtown's best kept secret! I have used this company for all birthday and family celebrations so it was a no brainer when my sister called up to ask me where to go for her wedding cake. The staff are all very pleasant and eager to please. They love making customized cakes and go not overcharge you for the extras (pearl hand set beads/ sparkle glaze). The cakes are extreamly afforable (half the cost of other places) they give you plenty of samples, flavors, and are more concerened to make the cake look perfect than to try and get all your money like the competion..They even offered her a trial cake (top cake) to sample for her wedding beforehand with all the customation and fillings for only $20. you will not be dissapointed.
