Bamboo Bakery was GREAT! Our cake looked so beautiful and everybody loved it. They helped us design the cake exactly like we wanted and personalize it with ribbon and pearls to match our wedding colors. I would absolutely recommend Bamboo Bakery to any bride.

The Bamboo Bakery is a superb place to have your wedding cake made! My husband and I came in for the cake tasting and chose the red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. David, the cake artist sat down with us and drew a picture of the cake we wanted and all the details. Our cake had flowers between the layers, which we brought in two days before the wedding, and they put the cake and flowers together perfectly! It was an absolutely gorgeous cake. It was the most beautiful cake I have ever seen or tasted! Delicious! The cake looked so beautiful that I hated to cut the first piece, but was excited to do so with my new husband! I really have no words to describe how delicious these cakes are. My husband and I wanted an unusual design, but weren't sure exactly what. David was able to guide us in the right direction and design something GORGEOUS for us. The flavors were absolutely divine. We had been telling everyone about the cake for weeks before the wedding, so once the day rolled around, people were dying for a piece of the cake. It's a good thing we ordered a larger cake, because our guests kept going back for another serving. My birthday is in a few months, and I've already started hinting to my new husband that I would love a cake from Bamboo Bakery to celebrate the occasion. I will never go anywhere else.

I first heard of them at one of the Bridal Shows in Phoenix, AZ. Their cakes are delicious and amazing. My fiance fell in love with them. Each cake is so unique. We will definatly be using them for our wedding cake, not to mention Bridal Shower!

My cake turned out beautifully and tasted delicious. I got so many compliments on my cake. I changed my mind on the design a few times and they were kind enough to incorporate my changes 2 weeks prior to my wedding date. I gave David a picture of what I wanted my cake to look like and they were able to do it perfectly. They were the best value by far of all the cake vendors I visted with. I was on a tight budget so I met with a bunch of cake vendors to make sure I got the best deal. Definitely go with Bamboo Bakery! You sure to be happy with the final product.

Bamboo Bakery is AMAZING!!! They made us an extra cake for the groomsmen that they shaped into a burger for us! (My husband and I met at In N Out Burger!) It turned out well, but the flavor of their cakes is absolutely to die for! I would never go with another baker again!

We went in for a consultation and David sat with us to design something personal for our special day. We were able to get a fabulously designed cake within our budget and our guests loved it! Don't let the small store fool you into thinking they don't have much to offer because they do :) I would recommend to anyone planning a wedding to check out Bamboo Bakery before finalizing their cake plans. We looked around for a long time till we found Bamboo Bakery. We had our cake picked out and it was fairly intricate. Therefore every bakery we went to would either tell us they couldn't make it, or gave us a quote that was out of our budget range. Then we found the Bamboo Bakery and our problems were solved, they took one look at the picture and didn't even blink an eye. And they didn't try to rake us over the coals on the price. In addition they have tons of fillings and cake flavors to make a combination of wedding cake that will be all your own. We were a bit concerned on how it would turn out till we got to the venue and saw it, then we fell in love with it all over again. They did such a good job on it. We would recommend them to anyone looking to get a cake for any occasion.

When they arrived with the cake they had forgotten some of the frosting decorations, they did come back with frosting and correct that mistake. Brides beware if you use this vender and get the whipped cream frosting, the cake will be frozen when serving! We could not cut our cake even after it had sat outside from 3:00 til 7:00 at 73 degrees. The cake plates and columns were frozen into the cake and we couldn't remove them. That night at 1:00am the center of the cake was still frozen. When we brought this to the bakery's attention we were told they freeze the cake so the whipped frosting will stay nice for pictures, I suggested it would also have been nice to be able to CUT and eat the cake. I was disappointed by the owner when I mention this problem to him and suggested he try something different in the future because this way didn't work very well he became VERY defensive and he said he would just fix it by not doing any more outdoor weddings, Really what kind of reply is that? I thought maybe he should tell people when they order whipped cream frosting how cake will arrive so they can prepare. The cake was good but it would have been nice if we had been told how the cake would arrive and stay (frozen) and how we would need special untensils to cut it.

David and his staff made an amazing cake. It tasted delicious and looked even more beautiful than I had pictured. It was perfect!

As a groom, I wasn't very concerned by the look of the cake. I just wanted to be sure it would taste good. We chose two flavors, and they were both awesome. Our guests also said they really liked the cake too. And I'm not an expert, but I thought the cake looked pretty amazing too. I would definitely use Bamboo Bakery again.

My cake was stunning, delicious, affordable, and is now, all gone. Not one slice remained after my guests devoured multiple servings of my cake. Even when I made some last minute design changes three days before the wedding, David just rolled with it. The end result was so much more beautiful than I even imagined. We were Married on the 11th of March and had David from Bamboo Bakery do our wedding cake, best choice ever. He was so helpfull during our tasting, and the staff was super friendly. we had lots of ideas and he was able to get them all in one cake. We left our tasting knowing exactly how our cake was going to look and taste. The day of our wedding they came and set the cake and it was soo beautiful and just how we wanted it. We are still getting compilents on how pretty it was and and how good it tasted. We love this bakery and will definalty use them the next time we need a cake.

We got married at the Anthem Country Club, and our package included a cake from Bamboo Bakery. When I went in for my tasting the staff was very pleasant, and the owner drew an incredible sketch of what our cake would look like. We wanted a metallic gold cake and David told us that he could do that and was one of very few who had that capability. The week before the wedding, I decided that I wanted to change the design a bit. I called, and they told me absolutely no problem they would change it. The cake turned out BEAUTIFUL. The gold was show stopping, and it tasted delicious. My only complaint is that we had chosen vanilla cake with fresh strawberry filling for the bottom layer, which I had confirmed the week prior, but the bottom layer definitely did not have any strawberries. It seemed to just have the whipped frosting as filling. A couple of other guests even told me they loved the banana cake (do not remember choosing banana as a flavor). To me, it was no big deal, because all of Bamboo Bakery's cakes and fillings are delicious, so no harm no foul. The bottom line is that they are incredibly talented, flexible, and professional. I would recommend them to anyone needing a cake.

We loved our cake and it tasted delicious! We were so happy that they were able to make our entire cake out of whipped cream frosting as we did not want buttercream or fondant. It looked so pretty and it was exactly what we wanted. The tasting was very nice and the cake was super moist. Thank you, Bamboo for saving us money and providing a superior product.

Our family had a wedding cake emergency.For the first time in 40 years of wedding cakes, the professional we had made arrangements with to do our daughter's wedding cake a year in advance was hospitalized a day and a half before the wedding. We had tasted Bamboo Bakery cake at the June Bridal Show and when I called with our dilemma, David couldn't have been more responsive. We went over with the wedding couples design which The Bamboo Bakery replicated perfectly. They did not charge any more to help us out than what was listed on the web page and we couldn't have been more pleased with the cake. It was beautiful, set up was on time and perfect and it tasted divine. Thank you so much, David and the Bamboo Bakery staff.

I have to say I am pretty disappointed in our experience at Bamboo Bakery. We got our wedding cake from Bamboo. We did a tasting and completely custom designed our cake, which was great. And while the cake tasted amazing on the day of the wedding and was less expensive than other bakeries, there were many problems with the cake itself and our service. The design on the cake was the wrong color (navy instead of white), the actual design was wrong, and the topper was on the wrong tier. Not only that, but when I took a sneak peek at the ballroom, I walked over to look at the cake and there were business cards on the cake table at my reception! That is such a no-no to me. So tacky. Finally, when I went to drop of the inserts that provided structure to our cake, they were closed! This was during regular business hours! I called and left a message and they didn't call me back for 3 days! As I said, I am pretty disappointed in my experience and I would recommend checking out some other bakeries in the area before booking with Bamboo.

Bamboo Bakery is amazing! I found them at the Bridal Show at the Phoenix Convention Center. They had the biggest display there and their cake flavors tasted the best. I was married on December 11th, 2010 and had a Christmas wedding. I knew exactly what I wanted and David made it happen. My cake was a bunch of presents stacked on top of eachother. Red, Gold, Bows and Decor to match. Chocolate with chocolate mouse and white with fresh strawberries. It was delish! Beautiful!!!! My guest did not even know that it was my wedding cake, it looked that perfect! I can't wait to use Bamboo Bakery in the future. David does awesome work, nothing like I have ever seen before. Great job!!!

I found bamboo bakery at a wedding show and I am so glad I did. Our cake was beyond amazing! it was beautiful on the outside and tasted AMAZING on the inside. Our guests raved about how delicious the cake was and asked where we got it. They were so impressed by the perfection of the cake with ALL icing NO fondant (tastes horrible). It was more than we could ask for. About a month before our weeding we went to another wedding and the cake was horrible. we took one bite and then pushed it away. I was SO pleased when my groom and I feed the first bit to each other. I could not wait for the cake to be served to us and our guests! I will never go anywhere else for a cake for ANY occasion!

We had the most beautiful out of this world wedding cake. we got married on nov 11th 2010 and had David assist us with the design of the cake he shared with us that he is been doing cakes for 20 years which is amazing. i had also gone to a bridal show where there was the biggest lines and all Bamboo Bakery cakes stood out from other booths they had many samples on flavors and fillings. i tasted about 10 different flavors the taste the presentation are worth every dollar. Our cake was mocha coffee and pink champagne with strawberries. all guest absolutely loved the cake and so did we.i recommend if you come across Bamboo Bakery that you no longer need to look, this is the place for a beautiful and tasty wedding cake.

We actually found them at a bridal show. We recieved a 15% off coupon while there. We ordered our cake 10 months in advance. The money we saved was incredible. The design was exactly what we pictured. We even changed the design a month before the wedding. The set up look amazing. Everyone commented on how moist and fluffy the cake was. Our cake was included in our reception package but Bamboo Bakery did a great job! They were very easy to work with and were very open to our suggestions. The cake was delicious!

We chose Bamboo Bakery for our daughters wedding. The cake was beautiful, moist, and delicious! Best butter cream frosting I have ever tasted! I have never seen such thick layers and were each made up of 3 individual filled layers. We had the flexibility to choose different flavors for the separate layers of the cake, as well. The cake was delivered on time, however, they did not have the cake topper in place. When the delivery person was questioned, he called the bakery right away. When the mistake was realized, he went back to the bakery and returned with the cake topper prior to the ceremony. All was well. I would highly recommend this bakery for your wedding needs.

We purchased a 7 tier cake about one year in advance with A Yummy Cake. With less than 24 hours notice, we found out that the owner could not do our cake. Amazingly, the owner of Bamboo Cake agreed to complete our cake and deliver it the next day.The cake was beautiful, and no one could believe that we ordered it the previous day. The whipped frosting was great, the chocolate filling was perfect. I would have liked the cake to be more moist, but overall it was wonderful. I am so thankful that we found Bamboo Cake. We called so many other places who literally scoffed when we even asked for a cake for the following day. Thank you so much, David!!

My daughter's wedding was on July 4th. Bamboo Bakery delivered and set up the most beautiful, delicious cake! Bamboo Bakery is professional, courteous, prompt and true artists! You can look everywhere else, but get your cake from Bamboo Bakery! You won't be disappointed!

Of course the cake is delicious, but also, David and his staff are absolutely wonderful. They delivered our cake to Flagstaff, AZ and set it up for no extra fee. He also informed us that if something happened to the cake, he'd have a backup team bring an additional for no extra cost! Being a quite indecisive bride, he sat with me for quite a long time and answered all of my questions without ever seeming annoyed or sidetracked. Best of all, David was super flexible when we had a mishap occur. Our wedding coordinator broke and threw out the pieces we were supposed to return to get our $100 deposit back. David told her if she paid the $25 to cover the pieces, he would send the $100 deposit back to us. How generous! I doubt any other place would have done that for us. This is an awesome bakery, you won't be disappointed!

It was such a short notice but Bamboo Bakery come through for my cousin"s wedding. They have a lot of choices to choose from and their service is excellent.

Bamboo Bakery was amazing, I completely and confidently recommend using them for your wedding. I had a picture of what we wanted but we are not fans of fondant. All the other vendors at the bridal shows told us that it could only be in fondant for the style and they quoted me $1000 or more for a cake feeding 200 people. However when we found Bamboo Bakery at one of the bridal shows, David took one look at my picture and quoted us a third of the price others were giving me and said it did not have to be in fondant and they had made the cake before. My cake included a fountain and they had that as well, the day of the wedding the cake turned out better than I could have imagined it to be.

The cake we got at Bamboo was very delicious. It was really gorgeous as well. Our guest really complemented on the cake, everyone loved it! The cake was delivered on time as it was expected. They're a wonderful vendor!

I got the cake I wanted at the most reasonable price possible. I had expected a wonderful job from them because they had done the cake for my friend's wedding and of course I was not at all dissapointed. I liked how the cake designer worked with me and even drew up my cake right in front of me so that there were no suprises. They are wonderful and I will be using them in the future!

David and his crew at Bamboo Bakery did an awesome job with both cakes! Each cake was delicious and beautiful! We had david create a grooms cake for my hubby. We emailed him a picture and he went from there. It was a ASU Sparky cake :) My hubby loved it! What we enjoyed other than the delicious cake was how detailed the cake was. David hand drew examples of what we were hoping for with regrd to design. If you want happy guests and one less thing to worry about go with David and his crew!

Bamboo Bakery does a great job at creating customized cakes. There showroom provides a good example of what they can do. David meets with each couple to sketch out your cake for approval and them samples are provided to select the cake type that meets with your palette. What can we say - Creativity meets great taste - a winning combination!

I Would recommend Bamboo Bakery to everybody! I had th best experience with them. I had a vision for my pefect Wedding cake, it was vey detailed and unique. I was so nervous to see the result. I didnt get to see it until after the ceremony. It was absolutley AMAZING!!! The most beautiful cake that I have ever seen. It was better than my vision because they added a few things to make it really pop. The icing had a beautiful shimmer!! Everybody was amazed with the cake and i was just a delicious as it was beautiful. I will now be a reguar customer getting birthday cakes there too!! Please go check them out! Bamboo Bakery already came highly recommended. Some friends of ours were married in 2007 and we went with them to their tasting & enjoyed their cake at the wedding. So when it came time for Sean and I to plan our own wedding, there was no question where we were going. David and his staff are very helpful, always willing to sit down and work with you to make your cake exactly what you want it to be. Not only that, but they always have genuine smiles on their faces. You can tell they love what they do. I cannot recommend them enough for wedding cakes, birthday cakes...or just something tasty. They are wonderful!

The cake was exactly as we wanted it to be and it was so yummy! But, we were very disappointed because the cake toppers (that my mom spent days making) we not on the cake. They forgot to put them on the cake and did not even seem to understand when we went to get the toppers from them a couple of days after the wedding. It was a little disappointing.

We worked with David at Bamboo bakery for our cake. We chose them because our pastor, who has attended over a 100 weddings, said it was the best tasting cake. They have a lot of flavors to choose from, but we only found a few that we liked and agreed on. David is truly an artist and sketched out a beautiful design with us at our meeting. We were really impressed with the level of design that would be included in their "basic" cost. The cake looked just like his sketch and what was in the portfolio. My only disappointment was that the cake and filling did not seem as flavorful as the the day of the tasting and we found out later the raspberries were mostly sour, so he did not use as many. However, the cake was still delicious and we are eager to dig into our topper on our one month anniversary.

The cake on my wedding day was absolutely everything I wanted. This vendor most definitely exceeded my expectations. Not only will I recommend Bamboo Bakery for future brides, but will continue going to this baker for all of my special occasions. And finally, the cake was delicious.

Everyone at the wedding loved the beauty and detailing of our cake and were amazed that it tasted even more wonderful than it looked! We were extremely pleased, and pleasantly content that the cake did not consume as much of our budget as we originally anticipated reviewing some other vendors. While the staff at the bakery was always very helpful and accommodating, David himself oversaw all our appointments and always spoke with us directly. David was very open to our tastes and our input on the designs we wanted to incorporate into our cake. It was an amazing and wonderful day and our gorgeous cake was the icing on top! Cake was delievered on time, looked better then expected because it was customized, and everyone enjoyed looking and eating it! The price for the cake was reasonable and fair. It is hassle free and employees were helpful!

Bamboo Bakery made the cake decision the easiest one for my wedding! It was an amazing cake with the perfect combination of flavors balanced with super cool style. I am a dessert snob and LOVE cupcakes and cakes, so this was really important to me. The bakery was professional and let you try a sampling of their flavors and after that they ask you what you want it to look like. They make the colors in the cake exactly as you want and tadaa...it's that easy! It was a one time visited vendor that made it great and fun!

They were very professional and to the point. The cake wasn't a huge focus for our wedding so we didn't spend much time picking out colors and such, but you wouldn't have known from our cake. It was absolutely gorgeous and was so delicious, I couldn't believe how well it tasted as well.

A co-worker recommended I check out Bamboo Bakery for my wedding cake. They are very reasonably priced (the earlier you book your date, the cheaper the price) and their cakes are delicious. For the initial meeting, my husband and I were served sample cakes and frostings in their most popular flavors; if you want a flavor that is not on the plate, they are more than willing to get you a sample. They have plenty of styles of cakes to choose from; we actually combined two different styles to make our cake. The owner, David, is very easy to work with. He took our ideas and made them come to life. Everyone at our wedding commented on how beautiful and tasty our cake was. If there was a 6 star I would give it to David!! There are not enough words or stars to give to him or his cakes. I actually selected him over the internet from Virginia when my Goddaughter's (Lacey) wedding was to be in AZ. However, David proved to be professional, kind and understanding. The fact that I promised to chase him from AZ back to VA if everything wasn't perfect probably gave him incentive (just kidding) but David truly was a pleasure to work with. His cakes are a work of art and he is a treasure. All of the guests loved the cakes and the grooms cake (he is a USAF Firefighter) who had just finished his special training before being assigned to his first base was awesome. David thank you, both the Bride and Groom loved the cakes!!!! Anyone looking at this I TOTALLY recommend that you use BAMBOO BAKERY for any type of cake for your special occasion!

The cake tasted great and looked great! I would surely use them again. I had a lemon cake with raspberry filling...yummy!!! everyone loved it and walked by the cake just to look at it. they delivered and had no problems. they have many other flavors that are perfect as well.

This bakery does everything--and all exceptionally well! Not only did they do a fantastic job with our wedding cake and our custom made groom's cake based off of my husband's favorite car, but they also provided our table linens and chair covers that created the perfect detailed look to the decor. I mistakenly told David the wrong chair type used at the reception, and on the day of the wedding they were gratefully able to drive back to the bakery and replace all the chair covers in record time! I did not actually find out about the extra work I had to put them through until days after the wedding! Besides the great service and ease of working with David, you will get the delicious cake that you have dreamed up. Last but not least, the prices are hands-down unbeatable. In the end, Bamboo Bakery was my favorite vendor to work with and I'm glad I discovered them!

We wanted to have a design on our wedding cake that we designed ourselves and that was exactly how we wanted it. We went to multiple bakeries and after seeing multiple different examples of all of the bakeries work we decided on Bamboo Bakery. Maria and also David were nice to talk to and learn more about all of the cakes that the bakery does. We ended up getting a cake tasting from them and from there we were sold on their service. It pays to book ahead of time with this place as the prices per slice gets cheaper. Either way you cannot beat the quality of the cake’s they make and also the designs that they can do. They put our entire design on the cake just as we wanted it.
