Bruce is awesome! He's so sincere, you can tell he actually cares about hearing what you have to say. The other DJs we met with gave us a generic speech and didn't care to know anything about us, how we met, etc. Bruce sit down with you and asks all the right questions to ensure that you get what you want out of your wedding music. The booklet he gives you is a godsend for all organized brides out there too! I highly recommend him!

Bruce Battleson was the best DJ and MC that we could have asked for. Most people don't see the value in having a talented DJ that can get the crowd going all night long. There's actually an art to reading people, getting a sense for the overall mood, keeping everyone happy, knowing when to change the pace, etc. Bruce knew exactly what to do the entire evening, which helped make the night a success!

I also can't thank Bruce enough for his help making a mix CD for our first dance song. Our request was out of the ordinary and came at the last minute. I felt so bad but Bruce was so wonderful and gladly accepted the request. Soon after, he FedEx'ed exactly what we asked for.

We first saw DJ Geoff Maddox at a friend's wedding. He was awesome and we knew he would make our wedding day perfect too. Arrangements are made through owner Bruce Battleson. He was always responsive to emails and phone calls during the planning process. Prospective clients are sent a booklet (approximately 40 pages) to get a feel for all the details needed to personalize your day. We reviewed our packet with Geoff and had no doubt he was going to keep our wedding guests engaged in the fun but without being obnoxious. On our wedding day, he actually exceeded our expectations. We had several impromptu speeches and he rolled with the flow the entire night. He acted like our coordinator keeping us on time and at the end of the night, he gave us a CD of all of our special songs!

Bruce was great!! He was fun to work with and gave me good feedback about the music that I chose (for example if he thought it would go over well on the dance floor or not). He is very organized and gave me a booklette to fill out with all kinds of information about us as a couple, our families, what we wanted our wedding to be like, and of course the music we like. It was very thorough and I definitely think it made communicating about what I wanted easier. He has a really laid back, chill personality and I liked working with him. Plus, I got an incredibly good price because my wedding was on a Tuesday! I went with the Turnip Rose for my venue, and he is very familiar with how they do things so that ensured that things would go smoothly as well. This is a good DJ!

Gus Garcia made our event fun and entertaining for us and all our guests. Bruce Battleson and Gus were responsive to our emails. Gus was flexible with our pre wedding meeting times and listened to our needs. Bruce was a fantastic DJ. We had guests beg us at the end of the night not to let him stop becuase they were enjoying the music so much! We had requested a mix of indian and western music and he worked everything in really well. He was creative in selecting music to make sure people were always on the dance floor and he assumed the personality that we desired for our wedding DJ. He worked well with our MCs and the venue staff to make sure everything flowed well. Additionally, when were planning the wedding, Bruce asked us some really great questions to help us really think about what we wanted our wedding to be.

When we started our DJ search, our biggest concern was accidentally getting a DJ that thought he was the star of the show, a comedian or super cheesy. We really wanted someone who would watch the crowd and play the music according to them while staying in the background. We wanted a full dance floor without any cheesy gimmicks. After a lot of research, we found Bruce Battleson, and we are so happy we did. Bruce Battleson is an awesome DJ! We were impressed with his organization, philosophy and professionalism right away. Ask any of our friends and family what my now husband and I share in common and they would tell you our shared love for music. So when it came time to start the planning process of our wedding, we wanted to make sure that whoever we chose to be our dj/mc for our wedding not only understand our love for music but also share that same appreciation. When our friends Anthony and Dani got married last year, Gus was hired as their DJ. We were referred to Battleson Entertainment from a co-worker who was familiar with the company and with Gus. In our initial meeting with Gus we knew almost right away that this wasn't your average DJ service. He asked many questions and really tried to get to know us as a couple. Bruce was organized and professional from the start of conversation to the completion of services. This guy knows DJ'ing and above all, he knows weddings. His range of music is so expansive and ecclectic, it serves for listeners from all walks of life of all ages and preferences. He is super easy to work with and very hard working. Choosing Bruce as our DJ was the best decision we made! So many of our guests commented on how great he was not only after the wedding, but the day of too! He knew exactly what to play and when to play it because our guests were on the dancefloor all night! Our DJ Bruce was the absolute best choice I made for our wedding! I had called and spoke with a few different DJ's before I made my decision and I could not have been happier. First and foremost.... he was extremely helpful in helping us choose the best music for the enitre night. My (now) husband, is very into all types of different music and I'm more of the "anything on the pop radio stations" kind of girl, so we had to meet in the middle on a lot of the genres and feel of our wedding. Bruce gave us ideas on great compromises and was so extremely patient sitting with us nearly 3 hours in his office while we went through all the options. We didn't feel rushed at all and he helped us pick out music that would entertain our wedding of 200 guests and of all ages. Now that our wedding is all said and done I can honestly say how ridiculously important it is to have the best of the best for a DJ. Gus is any Wedding Coordinators true blessing. Detail, detail is so important to me and Gus was amazing. He was available anytime before the wedding for me to ask millions of questions and always willing to help. He was able to change things last minute and made it seem seemless.
