Rick was very professional from start to finish. He made us very comfortable from the beginning. He went over every detail with us. He also went out of his way to make sure we had all the details covered. It was a day that we will never forget and will live in our hearts and minds forever. Rick did a fantastic job at our wedding! While on the phone when we scheduled him to officiant our wedding, he asked several questions about my husband and I as a couple. The information that he gathered made for a very special ceremony. We were running late on the day of the ceremony and he was completely understanding of our delay.

Rick was a wonderful officiant who worked with us over the phone from Connecticut for our secret and intimate, little San Francisco ceremony. He was extremely responsive and helpful and even created a ceremony based on our interests as we are both teachers. Rick was our officiant at our wedding this October (outdoor ceremony at Palmdale Estates). Rick was so helpful and kind in every single way. He made the whole process so easy for us and our families. He was super approachable, responsive, and responsible. We were very busy with work and wedding planning the month before our wedding but Rick took the initiative and made sure we gave him all the information and ideas needed for the ceremony. on the wedding day, he arrived early well prepared and was very patient as the ceremony started later than we had planned. Our feedback is simple - Rick was amazing! We had a short engagement and didn't want to spend a lot on a wedding overall. We decided to have the wedding at our home in Half Moon Bay. His price was very reasonable and he offered a personalized ceremony. Initially, we met with Rick in person, he asked us for information about ourselves and just seemed very personable right away.

He sent us a draft of the ceremony flow and text and allowed us to make changes and send back to him. He was so responsive on everything and checked in on us to make sure we had our marriage license and were all set for the wedding. He was also very understanding of my husband who emailed Rick his vows at 1am, the morning of the ceremony.

We received rave feedback from the guests at the wedding. They loved the personal touch to the ceremony, that he walked around, and they could hear and understand him easily. They commented that the ceremony was heartfelt, funny, and just overall enjoyable. I received 3 requests for Rick's information for possible future weddings.

Rick was our wedding officiant and did an amazing job. From our first meeting my husband and I knew his personality and ours worked well. Rick is personable, professional and we couldn't have been more delighted with our wedding ceremony. It was the perfect blend of humor (tasteful of course) and sentimentality. He engaged our guests and weaven in the story of how we met. I have had several of our guests share how much they enjoyed our ceremony and how Rick made them feel engaged. We are more spiritual than religious and Rick completely respected that. He came up with a draft of the ceremony and incorporated any changes I wanted to make. Our rehearsal was quick and easy and everyone was clear on what to do and where to go. The day of Rick was early and checked in with me just to let me know he had arrived and was ready to go, which set me at ease. I want to say that Rick Kaplowitz made our special wedding day a day that we will never forget. Rick was very professional, once we meet with Rick we knew that he was the right person to preform our wedding. Rick takes care of all the details, and makes the wedding a great deal less stressful. All the guests in our wedding really liked him as the officiant of our wedding.

Rick is very flexible and he is also very understanding. After one meet and greet sit down he was able to attain our qualities as a couple and our sense of creativity and uniqueness. It helps that he worked in the field of psychology, so his ability to understand people quickly is a invaluable quality. Shortly after our meeting, he wrote out a rough draft script for us to read through and make the necessary changes.

He was also very professional and responded to emails and phone calls in a timely manner. Although I only had a month to plan the wedding, Rick was very helpful and loving in treating our day with professionalism and value that we wanted.

He came ready with a speaker and microphone, which was perfect for our outdoor, slightly windy wedding. Everyone can hear everything, no matter where they were standing. All the guests including us as a couple enjoyed his presence at our wedding, in fact we get compliments to this day on how flexible he was on the spot. I'm so happy my instincts fell on Rick because our day was special thanks to fantastically supportive and flexible people like him.

There is absolutely nothing we could fault with Rick or the delivery our ceremony.
He was very open to incorporating our ideas into our ceremony and actively encouraged it.
As our wedding was a destination wedding, good communication was essential for us as we planned our day some 14,000kms away. Rick was always responsive via email and made him self available to video conference when requested.
He was happy to meet us the day before at the site of the ceremony and he and his lovely wife even gave us a lift back into the city.

Rick was amazing! Being older and having been married prior, we wanted the wedding to be about our families and friends rather than traditional. Rick understood and put together an amazing life story and incorporated our ceremony to honor all our famlly and friends and for them to be recognized individually. it really was a touching ceremony, elegant and fun, yet had solemness of what matrimony represents . Rick's quick sense of humor and flair was so apparent, our guests thought we had been friends for years. Welll, he will be now!
