Finding reasonably priced hair and makeup artists in the Bay Area is really difficult. Let alone finding people willing to come to your location. I feel lucky to have found Patty and Maria, who met both of these criteria. They're both so talented-I loved my hair and makeup and I've never seen my mom look more beautiful. Basically, they work magic. Plus they were such a calming presence at a time when anxiety was running high. I should mention, however, that they both have demanding day jobs and aren't the easiest people to keep in contact with, but your patience will definitely be rewarded if you book them.
We used Patty & Maria for my sister's wedding 11/10/2007. They were excellent. Out make-up was fabulous. They are so easy to work with, and gave us all their attention.
The Bride's amke-up and my make-up lasted all night. They use great poducts and are extremely patient and thorough.
I highly recommend them. They are priced well also.

I used Maria from BBYPIN events. She does on site makeup. I felt her work was great and kept getting compliments the whole day. She was easy to contact and talk to regarding what I wanted. She even sent me pictures of the work she's done and she was able to know what I wanted based on a picture I sent her. She had done several other members of my bridal party as well and they looked great. She told me that she takes classes all the time to stay on top of new trends. I wholeheartedly recommend her. She's been in the makeup scene for a while and it shows she knows her stuff.
