Extremely professional and flexible to work with. Great suggestions! Worked with us on a play list that included some very obscure nusic for our dinner hour...but went the extra mile to find the music we wanted..My daughter and her husband wanted every one up and dancing and our DJ, Chris, made sure that happened! Chris was a lot of fun to work with.....his enthusiasm aboiut what he does made for a fun night!

I cannot recommend Beat 2 Beat DJs highly enough. Chris (the owner) and Dan (our DJ) were simply great from beginning to end. Chris would respond to emails very quickly, which I really appreciated. We met with Dan once last summer to discuss our general needs, and then communicated by email or phone. We had a very specific music plan for our ceremony, and it went off without a hitch. We also had parts of two songs for our first dance, and he also handled that perfectly. I was able to give Dan my playlist (which was very specific) and he played all of those songs and a few others that went great with my selections. I think Beat 2 Beat is a great company and I can't recommend them highly enough.

I used Beat 2 Beat DJs for my April 2012 wedding and I couldn't be more pleased. Chris was great to work with and was always very friendly and professional. A month before the wedding, we provided him with a timeline of our day. He was a great emcee and kept everything transitioning smoothly. We had the opportunity to work with Brian from Beat 2 Beat for our wedding reception, and how lucky we were. The music that Brian played throughout the evening was absolutely amazing and perfect, and as a result, our party was that much more phenomenal. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. My wedding planner Melody Browning from MeZo Events recommended Beat 2 Beat DJs and I'm glad I took her advice. DJ Five (Dan McGinty) was the DJ for my wedding and he did a great job. He kept the dance floor packed and checked in with me and the groom at several points throughout the night to make sure we were happy with everything. He did a nice job of announcing things (toasts, cake cutting, etc.) without every being cheesy or intrusive. He kept everything in line with our taste and everyone had a great time dancing.

This review is for DJ Absolut (Brian). We had him do the music for the cocktail hour and reception. We were extremely happy with everything. Brian was super easy to work with, finding our particular music selections for the entrance and first dance with no problems. Everything was seamless.

Now, by the time dinner ended, the remaining crowd at the wedding was of a younger generation. I had already set out the "definitely play" and "do not play" songs with him, which were strictly adhered to. I still get compliments to this day (almost 6 months later) about how awesome our DJ was. One of my friends even had me get the whole playlist because she loved everything he put on. He read the crowd perfectly and kept the party going until we were forced to stop due to the noise ordinance. Awesome.

ladies...think about it. the DJ is the narrator of your whole reception! they set the tone for everything...you want to hire someone who knows what they're doing. i have been to weddings with awful DJs but chris and dan are worth every penny.

they are so easy to communicate with...and met with us multiple times! the day of the wedding, dan was awesome!! everyone was out on the dance floor...in fact...i think i spent TOO much time on the dance floor :) use them, you won't regret it!

Our ceremony and reception were held in Frederick, MD; thus we wanted to find a Dj near the venue to cut down on travel time. Unfortunately, we were not able to find a "real" Dj near our venue. We met with vendors that claimed to be a Dj, but only played music from a laptop without accompanying Dj equipment.

We decided to search for a Dj that had his/her hand on the pulse of new music and popular songs that guests would love to hear. I came across Beat 2 Beat Djs and knew this would be the company to work with. After meeting with Chris and Jon Boesche', my fiance and I were impressed with the beat mix skills and charisma displayed by both Djs.

On the day of the wedding, Jon and Chris provided uplighting, an LED Dj booth, and AWESOME music. Everyone at the wedding was impressed and danced all evening. Jon was an excellent Dj and announcer; he truly has a voice and personality that is meant to be on the radio.

Chris was very flexible with the music we suggested and was even flexible in receiving our music at the last minute. As stressful as planning a wedding can be, Chris and Jon made this a very easy and stress-free event for us. Overall, we will highly recommend Beat 2 Beat Dj's!

I would highly recommend Beats 2 Beats. Chris went above and beyond in providing services, including contacting an artist to obtain their two versions of a specific song for the mother son dance. Chris is extremely responsive to emails and all requests for information. They accept credit cards over Pay Pal, which is extremely convenient when budgeting a wedding. They were set up for the reception early, so as to not interfere with our guests going to the cocktail hour. DJ Jon was fabulous and is truely a skilled artist. He set the mood for the party and had the dance floor rocking the entire night, so much so that the air conditioning had to be dropped 12 degrees in the room and it was still hot. The Baltimore region is lucky to have Chris and Jon in the business. They made us feel like they were so proud to be part of our special day and we were equally lucky to have them. They provided stress free and professional services. As a true testament to their services, we have already referred a good friend getting married next year.

I booked DJ Special K for a wedding event and he was fabulous! He worked with me every step of the way and accommodated my very eclectic musical tastes amazingly well! He is creative, energetic, friendly, fun and very passionate about music. He really reads guests' tastes and moods well, and adjusts music accordingly to ensure that everyone is having a great time. He is also very professional. His punctuality is impeccable, and he worked well with the rest of the venue staff. He dressed very professionally and appropriately, and ensured that everything ran smoothly-which took all of the stress off of me. I would absolutely recommend hiring Beat 2 Beat DJs for any event. Truly worth every penny! Professional, knowledgeable, fun and flexible.

We booked Beat 2 Beat DJs for our wedding on June 11, 2011- Brian was our DJ. From our first meeting with Beat 2 Beat they blew us away. Not only were they completely professional and responsive throughout the entire process, they were fresh too. Fresh meaning that they are not like the typical DJs that have been playing the same old song list for the past 50 years. They are fresh, upbeat, and extremely talented.
We had a few special requests for our reception and they were very accomodating. My husband and I cannot say enough great things about Brian- even the guests commented on how great it was! He kept everyone on the dance floor until the very end of the night.

My wife and I got married on 5/27/2011. We had Chris(Beat 2 Beat DJs) DJ our wedding. There is only one word to describe the job he did...AMAZING!!! Not only did he keep the dance floor full the entire night, but he was very professional. A few days before the wedding, he called me and my wife to ask our permission to use a new piece of equipment. I'm glad he did. The new lights he had just added to the awesome atmosphere at our reception. He is very dedicated to his work and knows how to read a crowd. His music flowed seamlessly all night, and the dance floor never stopped rocking. Also, if you want certain songs played, let him know. He'll play them, if he doesn't have them, he'll do his best to get them. If you're looking for a DJ for your wedding, I strongly recommend Beat 2 Beat. Whether it's Chris or one of his fellow DJs, they will do an AMAZING job.

Chris Riddle, DJ Vega, was the DJ for our wedding reception. He was very professional and diligent so that everything went according to schedule. All of our guests were dancing throughout our reception and he listened to our input of songs and ideas for our reception. From the initial meeting up to the week before the wedding, Chris was very responsive and helped us with all of our questions including great suggestions to make things run smoother. We just got married in Oct, and were very happy with Beat 2 Beat DJs from start to finish. We didn't really shop around too much because it was clear from the start that they were top notch. Chris was very responsive throughout the process...and even at the initial meeting, we were able to meet our DJ - Brian (DJ Absolut). Brian of Beat 2 Beat provided us with the best DJ experience at a wedding ever! He had everyone dancing from the moment dinner ended to the very last song. Dan was amazing! We recently got married in Rehoboth Beach, DE and Beat 2 Beat made our day! Chris at Beat2Beat is the man. He is an extremely likeable guy who is just flat out a natural at his job.

Beat2Beat treats you like you should be treated. Upon initial contact, they requested a meeting at their office to give us the entire experience. We were treated professionally, which was extremely nice. Chris is a younger guy who is definitely into the latest music. A requirement for our DJ was that he had to be near our age and have good taste in music. We both instantly related to Chris.

Chris is really a professional DJ and can beatmatch with the best of them. All of our friends made comments like "The music just kept going the whole time!" and "I couldn't even hear when he switched songs!". This is really what you pay for in a professional DJ. My wife and I have been to many weddings and nobody compares.

Since our wedding last September, we have had the pleasure of attending a few Beat2Beat weddings with Dan. Dan is also a great beatmatcher and a great guy.

One little added bonus, Chris's wife's company, Up Dos for I Dos, came and did on-site hair and makeup for the bride and bridesmaids. They were just as phenomenal as Beat2Beat.

We easily received as many compliments on our DJ as we did on the wedding itself. We have friends who cancelled their DJ and lost their deposit just to get Beat2Beat at their wedding.

Chris was the DJ for our wedding on 9/12 and was absolutely phenomenal! From our initial consultation with him, we knew we had to have Chris as our DJ! My fiance, Jeff, and I must've filtered through a dozen cheesy, cummerbund-wearing DJs when we finally discovered Beat2Beat DJs (on WeddingWire, actually). It was a wearisome search. One pushy DJ company owner, who shall remain nameless, even badgered me a bit w a couple call backs, trying to get me to sign w him WITHOUT meeting the DJ first. That way, he audaciously explained, he could decide closer to our date if he wanted to work our event himself or assign us to one of his employees. No thanks.
I could just tell by the Beat2Beat name/website that it was a more modern DJ team which was a better fit for us. Owner Chris Riddle was very friendly and prompt in email and on the phone. He insisted the opposite of that other guy - Chris wanted us to come to his studio and meet him personally before we signed anything. (We wound up having the privilege of getting Chris as our personal DJ.)
Jeff and I did and, on first impression, were blown away. Chris is incredibly professional and respectful. He's cool, very chill, but he takes your business seriously. He got to know us a bit, then showed us his equipment and a little demo of what he could do w songs we liked. He made it clear he'd honor the lists of any songs we possibly wanted for cocktail hour, dance etc. as well as any Do Not Plays (we had several). His package prices were reasonable, as well. The only other 'modern' company we found were way over budget for us.
We signed with him the next morning (he likes you to think about it for a night) and felt 100% like we'd found the right guy for us. Again, Chris & his team are young but sharp, modern, very aware of what's current.. they're just a more hip DJ group then all the other typical companies out there.
On our actual day, Chris didn't miss a trick. He announced/intro'd everyone well, played all the right songs - I'm telling you, he plays exactly what you request, song for song - and was present but not overpresent. He doesn't try to take the spotlight or make it about him, he dials his working-the-crowd quotient to whatever you'd like it to be.
He also did a great job of checking in w us about when we'd like to do the cake or the bouquet toss, etc., but he also let the night flow at a natural pace.
I honestly cannot rave enough about Beat2Beat DJs. They will play any kind of wedding, I'm sure - country, hip hop, etc. - but if you're like us.. if you're a fun, young, modern couple who wants danceable pop/hip-hop that's not from five years ago and you want a fun, current, knows-what's-up DJ, I mean it when I say Beat2Beat is the only one of its kind I found in the area. This is not an exaggeration. Save yourselves the search I dealt with. :) *****

We absolutely LOVED Beat 2 Beat DJs! We worked with Brian (DJ Absolut) and would recommend him to anyone! I had been to a few weddings where the DJ was not so great, and had forgotten how critical a good DJ is to a reception! Chris is wonderful, he is so easy to work with and will let you have as much or as little say about the music if you want. His website was a great resource for picking out songs. Dan with Beat 2 Beat DJs is awesome! I met with Chris for my first consultation and he introduced me to Dan, who was my actual DJ. They are professional and well organized. Dan was absolutely amazing at the wedding. He kept the timeline straight and I gave him the freedom to decided when things should happen so he took control (which is what I wanted!). He kept people of all ages on the dance floor all night. He was loved so much that one of our guests wants to book him for their daughter's wedding next summer! We loved having Dan at Beat2Beat DJs do our wedding! We only met with one DJ company and we knew right away we would use them. Chris has a very straightforward manner and meeting with him was very easy. I felt like this was one of our easiest vendors to decide on and work with.

The day of, Dan showed up super early for set up for our wedding, which was great! I think he was there before I was. He did a great job keeping everyone dancing and played a great mix of new songs and some old stuff we requested. He definitely "got" the mood of the party and played music accordingly. My only wish is that we could have kept the party going for 2 more hours! :)

We loved working with Beat 2 Beat for our wedding reception! Choosing a DJ was very important to my husband and me because we wanted to set a fun environment for our guests. Chris Riddle from Beat2Beat ROCKS!!!!!! I have received SOO many compliments from my wedding guests about how wonderful he was at keeping the party going and mixing music flawlessly! And i loved him too!!!! One thing about Chris that i was super impressed with was our pre-wedding planning. He has an amazing system for organizing every detail of your MC-ing needs. I actually complied a list of songs that were very important for him to play, and he did a fantastic job fulfilling my requests. And his mixing capabilities are off the chart - he is a master of his trade, and has top-of-the-line equipment to provide the best sound possible. One thing i was truly amazed by was his ability to pronounce every single person's name correctly!!! All 16 people! Chris met with us in his studio before our wedding to give us an example of how he mixes and what his equipment consists of...i VERY impressed as was my hubby! He is extremely outgoing and personable, and HUGE perk to have at our wedding! We loved Beat2Beat!!!

Chris from Beat 2 Beat DJs made our wedding night the best night of our life - no joke. All of our friends have not stopped raving about what an awesome job he did. Beat2Beat DJs are great! Whenever I needed to speak to a represenative, I spoke to someone directly, not a anwering service. This company gives you 200%. Beat2Beat are very professional, gives you GREAT advice when you are at cross roads when planning an event, and last but not least I will hire them again for any event from a special birthday party to a 10 year wedding anniversity party!!!!

Chris Riddle at Beat 2 Beat is one of the most helpful and responsive wedding vendors I worked with. It was a pleasure to have him at our wedding. He worked closely with our caterer throughout the reception to coordinate the special events, make announcements and play great music.

We gave him an extensive list of music, but I have to say, he picked the best mix and added a few excellent mash-ups as well as his own picks to keep the party going.

We also had him wire a remote speaker to the first floor for our wedding ceremony and he played the music exactly as we wanted it played, added a great value to his services (and saving us the cost of live musicians).

Chris is extremely professional and very in tune with the latest music in all genres. If you're worried about choosing a DJ, know that Beat 2 Beat is the perfect choice--I promise you'll be very pleased with the service, the music and their ability to MC.

Beat 2 Beat Djs was absolutely great. They were professional,well organized, and easy to work with. They were open to any suggestions of songs we wanted played throughout the reception. They are a group that listens to what the bride and groom want and they excel at what they do. I was very impressed with their promptness on answering any questions I had over email. One of the repetitive compliments we received was how great and fun the DJ was. I would definitely recommend them to anyone getting married or just throwing a fabulous party.

My Husband and I really enjoyed working with these DJs. Beat 2 Beat are amazing. They were able to track down our requests and keep the party going. They were also very hands on and the talent was amazing. They could take a line dance and turn it into a fast paced dance song before the other song ended. It was an amazing night and everyone at the wedding said how great the DJ was. He was able to take requests and change the music to fit the mood at each moment. Beat2Beat did a wonderful job for our wedding reception. We met with Chris, the owner, about 2 months prior to the wedding and we discussed the type of music and event we wanted to have. He did a great job of getting everyone on the dance floor and we all had a great time. They have a great web site with lots of helpful planning information!

Our first meeting with Brian and Chris was awesome. We really enjoyed what they had to offer and the music the mixed was AWESOME! I was the first one to get married in my family so everything was very confusing to me/us. I wish I had focused more time on the music, because the music that was played at our wedding was more of the "wedding" music and I liked the club mixing music. But that was more our fault for not going through the given list and picking the music we liked. Overall, Beat2Beat is an excellent vendor. My guests had a blast on the dance floor!
