Becker's Bridal

I was very disappointed with the service I received at Becker's. My dress took 5 fittings and I was in tears for most of them. The tailoring was handed to a very junior seamstress who took lots of shortcuts and made lots of mistakes.In the end I got Lucy, the head seamstress, who fixed everything. If you go there, insist on Lucy from the beginning.

Found my dream dress, on the sales rack no less!

Very polite, not overbearing or intrusive. Gladly threw in spare beads for the dress, and gave suggestions for where to get the dress cleaned and altered.

This is a well known store in Toronto, and while their selection was good, their prices were quite high in general and their service was particularly poor when I was there. I had made an appointment but they were running behind schedule and when they did start to help me they put me in a change room where I waited 20 minutes for someone to come by to zip the back of my dress. Naturally I was not impressed with the service.
