Beckie is the best photographer! She captured moments in my wedding that I don't even remember! She is very professional and she is a lot of fun also!!! I would TOTALLY recommend Beckie Kirker Photo to a friend!!!!! It was SO worth it!!! Couldn't have been happier with the pictures. Very beautiful.

Beckie is simply brilliant in every way. She is a joy to work with and a wonderful artist. We are "over the top" happy with the photos she took at my daughter's wedding. She took great artistic shots but still got all the practical detail and group photos as well. The only problem we had was deciding which photos to print and display!

Beckie is very professional photographer that does amazing work. I would not have selected anyone else to capture our story on our wedding day. Beckie also got our photos to our in a very timely manner.

We both had the most wonderful time working with Beckie. She came up with great ideas and was always responded back with in the day if I had questions for her. She was like having a friend with you the whole time. You could feel that she truly loves what she does and has a great passion about her work. The quality of her pictures are really amazing. We loved every single picture she took. She has this great way of capturing all these wonderful moments with her camera. I look at our pictures almost everyday and it brings me back to that amazing day!! Beckie is honestly the best at what she does and it shows in her work!!

My husband and I just LOVE Beckie! We felt so comfortable with her it was more like hanging out with a friend and half the time we didn't even know she was there. She is very professional and was very quick to respond to any questions that we had. Her pictures look amazing as well. She has an eye for photography! :) Everyone should use her!

Beckie was an absolute joy to work with! So flexible in meeting our wants and needs and adding her own creative flare as well. She provided us with quality photos for a great price. My sister had her for her wedding in 2005, I had her for mine in 2008 and my youngest sister just recently had her in the summer of 2011. All of our expectations were exceeded and in various settings and time constraints. I would highly recommend her to all in WA to use her photography services!

I strive for every aspect of your experience with me to be over-the-top awesome. I love living life to the fullest, and I love my job! Photography and design are my life. Each day I wake up, eat an amazing omelet my husband has made me, check my email, and then pour a strong cup of coffee. A good workday always starts with coffee. I then begin with work my graphic design clients have sent me. The rest of my day is a dance between photo-taking, photo-editing, album-designing, quesadilla-eating, and dog-walking. When sunset rolls around, I’m either on a photoshoot or wishing I was. I then read too much, probably bake something sinful and delicious, and dream with my husband about the future.

Your photographs will be a living collection of memories that speak for generations. Someday when your grandkids turn the pages of your album, I want them to feel as if they were there with you on that day. Your love story is so important and I would love to be the one that documents it for you.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?

Yes! Experience shooting in different lighting situations is simply a must in my profession.

Is your media preference film or digital?

I learned photography on an old film camera and developed my own prints in the dark room. Today I shoot digital and believe the quality of digital has finally caught up to that of film. I also from time to time will play around with my Diana camera, which is a medium format, retro camera that captures surreal, soft looking images. If youâ€™re interested in this look as part of your session, please let me know!

How many photographers do you work with?

Although I've shot many weddings solo, and often do for destination weddings, I greatly prefer working with a 2nd photographer on your wedding day. Here's why. Your wedding day will be filled with lots of happenings and events. I have been referred to as the "ninja photographer," but even so, I cannot be everywhere at once! Having a 2nd shooter means I can stay with the bride while she's getting ready and my other photographer can make sure to cover the groom and groomsmen preparing. It's great to work as a team, capture different angles and have someone to assist me with lighting as needed.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

Yes!

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

I only book one wedding per day; I would not physically be able to shoot more than one in a day!

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

The only reason I wouldn't be there would be because of an act of God, fire or terror, or if I was deathly ill, in which case I would contact you prior and do everything possible to help you find someone else.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

The whole kit-and-caboodle. I shoot with 2 cameras and bring 4 with me so I have back-ups as needed. I bring along a wide variety of lenses, memory cards, lighting equipment, batteries, and many other things!

Do you charge hourly or full day?

I specialize in narrative photography, and believe that capturing a full wedding or event is important. For shorter events or ceremonies, hourly pricing is available, with coverage beginning at $500.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

Yes. For an hourly event, each hour is an additional $250. For additional hourly coverage on your wedding day, each hour is $150.

Do you charge for travel?

For anything further than 2 hours from my home, I do have travel expenses. Please contact me for details!

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

Within 1 week, I will have a preview for you up on my blog with some of my favorite captures. Your entire event will be edited and available for viewing within 4-6 weeks or sooner, depending on the amount of studio workflow at the time.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?

I offer digital proofing through an online photo gallery and lab, which is convenient and a fun way for you to share your photos with others.

How long can the client keep the proofs?

Proofs are available for viewing online for 3 months. Galleries may be extended for viewing past 3 months at a minimal cost.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

Beckie Kirker Photo retains ultimate copyright of all images and may use them for advertising/marketing purposes.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?

Yes. Your photographs will never be used in any kind of demeaning or compromising way. It is understood that your photographs are precious memories and they will be treated as such.

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?

High res digital photographs are available in most wedding packages, and may be added on to any package.

Will images be available for viewing online?

3-6 weeks from your wedding date.

What kind of albums do you offer?

I just launched a new line of heirloom Art Books! They are professionally designed and hand-bound, and can hold 600+ photographs from your wedding day. I also offer professionally designed, leather flush-mount albums.
