Bella e Dolce

Kim from Bella e Dolce was very helpful. I planned my wedding from out-of-state so my worst fears during planning were 1)vendor will try to upsell me and charge me a lot for a cake, and 2)cake will not taste good (since I couldn't come to a cake testing appointment). I have to say that she dispelled all my fears. She helped me find the cake that will give the most bang for our buck and the cake tasted really good. She even put a little ladybug decoration on the back of the cake (which, according to our planner, was for good luck) and my husband and I thought it was awesome. Loved it. My husband and I were like, if we had to do the wedding all over again, we'd definitely go back to Bella e Dolce.

My wedding cake was amazing, beautiful and delicious. I was just recommending Bella e Dolce to my nephew and his fiancé yesterday. I love Bella e Dolce. They were so helpful and gracious.

I have to admit, I don't really like wedding cake. In fact I didn't really want one, but we decided to get one because our mothers really wanted us to. I am so glad that we did because Bella e Dolce was the best cake I had ever had, even though I was only able to have two bites! We were planning on serving leftover cake with breakfast the next day but there was none left. We actually had guests asking the wait staff to bring them seconds, I have never heard of that before. Plus she made a Detroit Redwings cake to surprise my husband, which looked amazing! Great place to get fun and beautiful cakes.

Kim was so awesome to work with. We planned our wedding from Florida to have in Michigan and having her understand my vision through email and phone calls was a breeze! My wedding cake was stunning and not to mention delicious! She worked with me to get creative to get exactly what I wanted and stay within my budget. I would recommend Bella e Dolce to anyone! Thank you so much for everything!

OUR CAKE WAS BEAUTIFUL AND DELICIOUS!!!! They did a fabulous job. My husband and I loved our cake so much that we thought about not saving the top for our first anniversary because a frozen cake is never as good as a fresh cake. Though in the end we decided to save our top, I am sure it will be great a year from now. We gave her a picture of the cake we wanted, but wanted it buttercream not fondant which makes its harder too look crisp. It looked even better than the picture!

Kim is great! We went to her cake tasting and picked our flavors and then she took the time to sit down with us to go over what ideas we had for the cake. The experience that day was awesome and one of my mom and I's greatest memories of the wedding planning process.

Kim and her crew made sure that the cake arrived to Mackinac Island with plenty of time to spare. They were there on site to set it up and add fresh flowers that were delivered.

Our cake was beautiful and tasted delicious! I highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for a cake, whether it be for a wedding or other special event. And be sure to look for her signature lady bug that she places on the cake. :)

Mary was wonderful to work with. She made us amazing cupcakes for our wedding, as well as a groom's cake (a frog prince), and a small cake for the top of our cupcake stand. A few guests at our wedding were also gluten free and she made cupcakes for them. They tasted the same as our non-gluten free cupcakes. Setup was gorgeous and we were very happy with everything.

My cake was unbelievable! I was so sad I actually had to cut into it. Kim is so professional and can make any cake or cupcake you wish to have at your wedding. I found a picture I loved online and she created a breathtaking cake. I got so many comments from everyone at the wedding about how amazing they thought my cake was. Not to mention, it tasted wonderful, I actually got to eat some of it! I should also mention that I was married on Mackinac Island and she delivered the cake on time with no glitches. She comes very highly recommended! :)

Bella e Dolce did an amazing job on my cake. I had given them a picture of what I wanted and even though it did not turn out exactly like the picture, it was absolutely beautiful and they added more to it than I thought I was going to get. They even put a candy ladybug on one tier for good luck. It was so delicious and everyone commented on how beautiful the cake was and how they couldn't believe how delicious it was. My husband said he things it was one of the best tasting he had ever had. Bottom line, through my experience I would definitely recommend Bella e Dolce to anyone because they know what they are doing and do an awesome job at it!

Kim was amazing to work with, she is easy to deal with, very creative, and her cakes are spectacular. The cake was a hit!

Cake was delicious and beautiful. Flavor choices were unique, and exquisite. Would happily do it all over again. A bit pricy, but worth it.

They were great and the cakes are wonderful. The delivery is nice, since it is difficult getting things around on Mackinac Island.

Kim was wonderful to work with, and very understanding when I didn't get my choices in "on time". They included an anniversary cake for free with the purchase of the cake. The cake itself was beautiful, exactly how I described it to Kim, and it tasted wonderful. I had lots of compliments on it. As I was planning from long distance, I only communicated with Kim via email, but everything was perfect. I felt very at ease with my decision to go with Bella e Dolce.
