Reviews for Bella Figura
Bella Figura is amazing! I absolutely love letterpress and really wanted to get letterpress wedding announcements (we're having a small destination wedding, so we wanted to send out announcements after the wedding to all of our many friends and family members who weren't going to be there). However, we also wanted a design that was modern, bold, dynamic, unusual, and not feminine - which is not easy to come by in the letterpress world. Bella Figura's designs were perfect for us - we eventually picked Moderno, and we just received the announcements on Friday - and we've spent all weekend looking and re-looking at them - we're so thrilled! The printing is just gorgeous and the paper is heavenly. And they sent the whole thing wrapped up like a present, which was so charming - icing on the cake! Beth Ann and Andrea were absolute pleasures to work with - they were both completely organized, helpful, and patient with our changes - and the order came on exactly the day they said it would! I would recommend Bella Figura without reservation to anyone looking for beautiful letterpress stationary - you can't go wrong with them.
Besides flowers, invitations was the hardest piece to choose. To me, the invitation really sets the whole tone for the wedding as it’s the piece that introduces guests to your wedding. It was important to us to have an invitation that was classic and elegant with a bit of a wow factor. We decided to bite the bullet and go for letterpress as our wow factor. After doing lots of research and cost comparison (and frustration), I happened upon Bella Figura’s website after another bride had raved about them. Well, I was hooked. I immediately ordered about 7 different sample invitations and fell in love with all of them. We ultimately decided on a design named “Vintage” which had everything we were looking for—gorgeous paper and ink color, a simple design of a bouquet to echo our venue selection… simple and elegant. I worked with Beth, who was a delight. If you’re looking for letterpress invitations, I cannot recommend Bella Figura enough!
When I first got engaged, I saw a sample of Bella Figura's "Majorca" invitation in Martha Stewart Weddings and tore it out. I looked at lots of local places and always brought in my tear sheet of the invitation I'd fallen in love with, but no one could come close to matching it. I finally decided to order a sample of it off Bella Figura's, and upon receiving it, I knew there was no turning back. The 2-ply, cotton paper is like nothing I've seen or touched at any other stationery store, and their letterpress is absolutely stunning.
I was slightly worried about completing my invitation order with a company that was on the other side of the country, but it couldn't have been more fluid and simple. I worked with Cathleen and Beth Ann, who were so helpful throughout the entire process. I received my invitations within a month of ordering them, and they arrived without a flaw. Not only that, they were individually wrapped and packaged in gorgeous boxes wrapped with stain ribbon.
Now we're making the beautiful mosaic pattern from the invitations a centerpiece for the design of our wedding -- the cake will incorporate a similar pattern and our florist is Pantone-matching the colors for our centerpieces. And it all started with Bella Figura.
