The real value in being a Bella bride is that the location is so beautiful! The only thing that upset me was that you needed to use one of their prefered caterers. Which wouldn't have been a problem except that they were all way above my budget. Some so much that the cost of food was going to be more than I had budgeted for my entire wedding! In the end I had to pay more than I wanted for the food because if you bring in your own caterer it can cost you up to a $700 dollar fee!

Overall, my wedding was gorgeous and I would have still done it at Bella Vista, but I would have waited a few more months to I could save up to get the food I wanted.

My husband and I got married here in May 2011 and it was absolutely beautiful. Bob and Kathleen - the innkeepers - were so accommodating and helpful. They spent numerous hours getting the place ready for our event and the property looked just beautiful. Jordan - our event coordinator - was just fabulous. I was running around trying to get things setup and one of my bridesmaid finally had to drag me inside to get my hair done. It was such a relief to have Jordan take over and make sure each detail was perfect. I would strongly recommend this venue as a wedding ceremony and reception site. It had rained the whole day before but magically the sun came out right before the ceremony was about to start. It was just perfect!

How does your venue determine the cost of the space?

The cost is determined based on the required funds to operate the Bed and Breakfast. Couples are guaranteed the entire 5 acre estate during their wedding, which shuts the door to our Bed and Breakfast clients.

Do you offer any special services?

Bella Vista wedding packages come complete with an event coordinator to offer day of coordination and aid you in making your ideal wedding happen at Bella Vista while still maintaining your budget.

Do you offer any special packages for rehearsal dinners?

Bella Vista does offer a rehearsal dinner package. The estate also offers a Mimosa brunch the day after your wedding to celebrate with 20 of your closest friends and family.

Do you offer additional items for the ceremony?

Bella Vista offers a romantic arbor for use in the garden ceremony site or a pavilion with rich columns cascading the elegant fountain ceremony site.

Do you rent other items such as linens, tables, or flatware?

Tables, chairs, and linens are included in the Bella Vista wedding packages.

Do you require clients to use a specific list of vendors?

Bella Vista does have preferred caterers and music choices. You have the option to choose your own but restrictions may apply.

Do you have any special side rooms that can be rented out for the occasion?

Bella Vista is a full service Bed and Breakfast. Sleeping accommodations are available for up to fourteen guests and are either included in our wedding packages or can be added for an additional fee.

Can the client provide their own alcohol if desired?

Bella Vista does not have an alcohol license at this time. Couples are required to use a licensed and insured bartender and bring in their own alcohol.

How many power outlets does the venue have?

The Venue offers an array of electrical outlets as well as a generator should the power go out due to bad weather. Couples are encouraged to come equipped with extension cords.

What restrictions (if any) on decorations?

Bella Vista asks that decoration be done in a way not to deface the property of Bella Vista.

If your site is in a public location, is the client required to get any permits?

Bella Vista carries their own permits.
