Bellagala's DJ service could not have been better! Matt, our DJ, really has a passion to give you the best music for your wedding. After talking to him for our consult, we knew he was on board with everything we wanted. At the day of our wedding he was as excited as we were and delivered the best mix of music that was within our tastes and kept our dance floor filled all the way to the end of the night!

Bellagala's website is a great way to explain what songs you want to hear and what you don't. Their online digital library of music is great -- and if your songs weren't on their list (like ours) you can request them online and they will add them to their library for...

We had Andy for our DJ and he was a blast. He played all of our favorites and was able to pick up on our style for the rest of the night. Everything from the ceremony, to cocktail hour, dinner/speeches/ and the dancing went of without a hitch.

Bellagala was great to work with. Easy to make the playlist and the DJ they set us up with was amazing!

We booked our Dj Kris through Bellagala, and I have nothing but praise for the whole process. Booking was a cinch and pricewise, I felt like we were getting a great deal, the company matches a Dj to you based on an online profile you fill out (I think that they do let you choose a specific person if you wanted to). We did not know who our Dj would be until the week of the wedding, their choice was spot on. Kris was amazing, he was charming and polite and had such a great attitude, even more important, he was not a big cheeseball- which is something I worried about based on other weddings I have been to. People were on the dance floor the entire night and the music was perfect. I would recommend both Kris and Bellagala to anyone.

Bellagala's DJ service was GREAT! I was able to fill out our entire play list online as well as listen to samples of songs in case I couldn't remember what they sounded like or wanted to make sure they had the right version.

Our DJ Andrew was GREAT! He played all of the songs we asked him during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Also during the reception he worked with us to make sure that everyone would have a chance to dance. He made suggestions according to his experience that we should play older songs first to get the older people to dance, and then more current songs later in the night.

Overall the whole experience was great. We also chose bellagala for our photography and it was great too. I cannot say enough about this company!! I would and have recommended them to everyone I know!

Overall an amazing company. Exactly what we were looking for in Price and entertainment value.

We had Matt for our DJ on 8.12.2011. He did an outstanding job! We felt very confortable and confident from the start that he knew how to throw a party! He got involved with our guests when we needed him to and got the crowd moving on the dance floor! We cannot say enoguh about him, he was fabulous! The Bellagala team was awesome to work with!

DJ Jason was AWESOME! He made our night amazing! He was super professional! Not showy and egotistacal, rather he was down to earth, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. He helped make our night perfect!

We were so happy with the great deal we got on our DJ. We were assigned a DJ the week before our wedding. We found out we were getting Reggie and he agreed to meet with us in person to discuss how we wanted our day to go. We had been too busy to fill our much of the profile online. Reggie seemed to have so many good suggestions we just told him to run with it. The night went perfectly with so many of our family and friends dancing the night away! I would highly recommend Bellagalla's DJs especially Reggie!

Matt Rush was our DJ and he did such an excellent job with our wedding ceremony sound equipment and then an incredible job during our reception. He facilitated the events very smoothly and got the guests involved, but he didn't take over like some DJs tend to do. Highly recommended.

I LOVED our DJ and the way this company works. You get to make all the decisions, and it's all submitted on an online form that makes you feel at ease and that you haven't forgotten anything. I got song requests from guests before the wedding that I could find online and submit to my DJ and they were all played. When we had our phone consultation with him, he did a great job of answering questions and making sure he knew exactly what we wanted. They are very reasonably priced and what you pay includes everything... lights, music, mics, etc. Everything was really easy and our DJ was fantastic! He did exactly what we asked and we had people on the dance floor all night long! I don't think there was a time when there were less than 10 people dancing. There was a song for everyone. We LOVED our DJ. The system they have is amazing and easy to use. They set you up with a DJ that is perfect for you and your play list. The DJ they picked for us WAS PERFECT. The dance floor was never empty.

We were so happy with our DJ from Bellagala -- Kris Gigstad. I provided a list of our top songs and had a conversation with Kris a few days before the wedding to review the schedule, song list and any other special notes. He played the songs we requested and just made the night roll smoothly along. Once the dance began, this bride never left the dance floor. I had the time of my life!

After attending a wedding fair at the Semple Mansion, I booked my DJ through Bellagala. The company was great to work with. Leading up to the wedding, my husband and I were able to select any and all music we wanted to have played at the wedding. We were also able to talk to the DJ before the wedding to let him know what kind of feel we wanted for the evening. Dane Johnson, our DJ, was amazing. He listened to our requests and made the evening so special for us. Our guests were commenting on the music all night, saying he was one of the best DJs they had ever seen. We are SO happy we went through Bellagala, and their wedding fair price was very reasonable.

We had a wonderful experience with Bellagala!! When we were looking at different DJs for our reception, they were highly recommended by the catering director at our reception venue, so we were confident that they would do a good job. They also seemed to be the most reasonably priced of the different companies that we looked at. Everyone in the office that we were in contact with as we set up our DJ services was friendly and helpful, and they always responded quickly to our questions. We had hoped to meet with our DJ in person the week before our wedding, but unfortunately we were told that they do not normally do this. We were a little nervous about not knowing who we were going to get...but everything worked out perfectly. Our DJ was Kris, and he was very professional and easy to work with. Several of our guests (young and old!) even commented on what a nice guy he was and what a great job he was doing with song selections. Our dance floor was full all night long, right up until the reception ended! I would definitely recommend Bellagala's DJ services, and for anyone who would like to choose their own DJ, I would also highly recommend Kris!

When I got engaged I new immediately who I would have DJ at my wedding. Having worked in the wedding industry in the Twin Cities Area made me aware of a variety of DJ/Entertainment Companies from fabulous to scary.

BellaGala is a wonderful company to work with, they answer all of the questions an super-organized bride would have. They made it so easy to pick the songs and flow of the enitre evening. The DJ/Master or Ceremonies we had was so great. He showed up ontime dressed very nicely and was so accomodating. They also did the sound for the wedding Ceremony. There were no problems with the sound for the musicians. Overall BellaGala really help make my wedding the one that i had always dreamed of!

Booking Bellagala was easy, and didn't take long at all. I was a little overwhelmed by all the playlists and such, so I just left it all up to the DJ for the playlist for the reception. He did a great job, even the grandparents were out on the dance floor. I would definitely recommend Bellagala to others, I think they are worth the money.

Amazing! Troy is an awesome, talented photographer. He was great to work with. We were comfortable the whole time. I really liked that he planned sites to have pictures done at and was truely excited to be doing his job.

Bella Gala is AMAZING! My husband and I got to pre-pick our music for the whole reception. We got to decide what would be played during the social hour, dinner, and the dance! The best part was, I got to do it all from home! I went to their website, and I got to pre-pick all of the music, and listen to samples online. The DJ was wonderful too! He asked questions when they needed to be asked, he didn't interact with the crowd too much, he interacted with them for just the right amount of time!

Bellagala was fantastic to work with! We booked our DJ through them and they made everything so easy. I was a little nervous about not being able to speak with my DJ until the week before the event, but they paired us up with the perfect one! We filled out our profile online and Jason took care of every single detail that I had asked for. He was in touch with us throughout the evening and made sure to get all of our events in before the photographers left. The music was perfect and had people dancing all night long. The dancefloor was packed with people who I never thought would be dancing.We didn't even have him placed by the dancefloor (as it was located in the middle of a tent), but somehow he got lights over to us and it was perfect. We also used them to hook up our piano player's keyboard and the mic for our ceremony. It was perfect, everyone could hear our officiant and the piano. It was so beautiful. Thanks to Bellagala for their incredible service.

Our DJ Tim was wonderful and so much fun! He provided all of our music - the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner music and dancing.

We had a hard time connecting the week of the wedding due to his class schedule and my last minute plans and guests arriving to town. My only recommendation would be to have Bellagala DJs reach out to their couples a bit earlier than the few days before the wedding. It really wasn't a big deal because we did connect, but I know he was stressing about us playing phone tag.

He did a great job engaging our crowd by knowing which songs to play to get people dancing, and knowing which songs to stay away from. Our dance floor was full until last call! My parents commented on how nice he was, and our guests had a great time. He stuck to our pre-selected music but also did an awesome job of knowing when to switch it up.

I love that we were able to work with a local student - he was so professional, kind, fun, engaging and attentive. I highly recommend contacting Bellagala for your DJ! They have excellent customer service and are so easy to work with.

My dj, Aaron, was amazing. He played really good music, and had so many people out there dancing. He was so personable, he was just really easy to work with.

My sister was the person who made the initial inquiry. So the email they had on file for me was my sister's, and when I tried to updated my profile, it wouldn't save because it didn't match my sister's email. That was a little frustrating, but I just had to contact them, to change the the email they had on file.

My entire wedding party sent me thank you cards after the wedding. We all had so much fun with the DJ and photographer.
At first I was a little concerned because the DJ doesn't contact you until 10 days before the wedding. It wasn't an issue, because we ran a bit behind and didn't solidify our music list till the previous weekend. The office staff at Bella was easy to work with and all friendly. The event site manager said she hasn't seen a wedding like ours in a long time..

Our DJ was great! Just make sure if there is any music you for sure want to make a list. We had many songs requested that he did not have. Other then that he did great with what he had!

Bellagala gave us great service. They have you fill out a DJ profile and will match you up with a DJ that will fit your event. The DJ that they matched us with - Kris - kept our guests and us on the dance floor all night and his choice of songs were exactly what we had asked him to play. He was fun and energetic and a great MC. We are extremely happy we picked Bellagala.

We were very pleased with the DJ services that Bellagala provided. The DJ called us the week of the wedding to go over all of the details which was very helpful. He was able to provide suggestions based on his experience to make sure the evening went wonderfully. The only thing we were disappointed in was the fact that we hand-picked all of the songs and not all of them were played, even though that was what we had requested. Overall, though, we were very happy!

Bellagala was very easy to work with - calls and emails were returned very promptly. You complete an online profile to help "match" you to a DJ who contacts you the week prior to your wedding. Although it didn't seem like all the songs that we had included on our playlists were played our guests had a great time and the dance floor was packed all night - which was just what we were looking for!

I was a little worried about this vendor, but I have nothing bad to say about them. Our DJ was Andy. He was there on time, dressed professional and he acted professional. When we were done with the first couple of dances, he played a song that NO one was dancing to, so I just asked him to stick to the songs on our play list and the songs people requested, and he did just that. The floor was packed all night.

I think people blame DJ's for things that they can't control. If you notice your dance floor is empty, go ask the DJ to play something you know will get your crowd going- your DJ isn't going to know your crowd and what type of music people like.

I'd use this company again.

Bellagala was wonderful! We used their DJ service at our wedding. They arrived very early to make sure that everything would work well together and helped us set up our slidehsow. Our DJ was outstanding! He had people out on the dance floor the entire night and knew just the right music to play. The music was not too loud and he was very good about stoping it when speeches were made or something came up. We would definately go with Bellagala if we ever need a DJ again!

We loved our DJ for the wedding! The only complaint I have about the company is that you don't talk to your DJ until the week of the wedding. I can't imagine how stressful this could have been if we wouldn't have clicked with our DJ. As it was he was great, and worked with us when we wanted some very random selections played at the wedding.

We chose Bellagala for our DJ based on recommendations from some friends. Overall, we were really pleased with the company's helpfulness and their web-based system. We were able to customize our music very thoroughly via their song chooser. My husband sent them an extensive list of songs he wanted but they didn't have, and they came through. Riley was our DJ, and he was very good at communicating with us on the day of, making sure we were happy with what he was playing, keeping track of the "extras" like dollar dance, etc. The only downfall with Bellagala is you don't know who you'll be working with until the week before. You work with a customer service person for the bulk of the time. But in the end, I think they did a good job matching us with our DJ.

Everything went very smoothly! They played the right music, there was always at least 20-30 people on the dance floor and they respected and obeyed our wishes. When we fell behind, they were perfectly understanding and adapting. The only real issue was that we were not told that two DJs would be coming and so we only had tips and dinner for one of the DJs. Overall, I would highly recommend! If you go to one of the wedding expos they were offering deep discounts for booking the day of as well- so try this out!

Our DJ (John) was wonderful. I made some last minute changes and he was more than flexible with adapting to the way things flowed on the day of our wedding. We received many compliments on our music and our guests had a great time dancing the night away! So much fun, I wish we could do it every weekend :)

Our DJ, Emma, did a great job. She listened to our requests and played what we wanted. She also gave a CD to my mom for a song she requested, which was great and truly appreciated.

I needed a keyboard player at the last minute (literally a week before the wedding) and Bellagala was able to provide one without any problems. Amanda was great to work with and helped me get everything organized and in contact with the musician.

We went with Bellagala after getting one of those emailed discount deals (can’t remember which one it was). It was an amazing discount so we were pretty happy that we got a good company for that price. They have a really great online tool to make your playlists and it is organized pretty well. If you are willing to get the DJ assignment within a week before your wedding, the company is a good fit for you. I know a lot of people don’t like that, but I didn’t mind. We had Ethan as our DJ and he was super nice and listened to all our specifications about what we wanted. There were a few times where he was delayed in announcing something, but it wasn’t too big of a deal. My only complaint was that I felt his mix of music should have started into the dancing a little sooner, but again, not a HUGE deal. Glad we got such a great deal!

I got a great value adn service from this company. My main frustration was that I spent hours chosing the music I wanted and was told they would play it but it never got played. They stuck to the same songs you hear at every wedding. It was hard for the dj to throw in things he wasn't as familar with (latin, 80's, etc)

At first at I was hesitant to hire 3 services at a single point of contact. Since my fiancee (wife now) put me in charge of the few things I knew I wanted I did some research. The first call I made to Bellagala was great, I spoke with a sales lady who gave me an initial idea of the process. After speaking to her, I made an appt on line and met with her later that week dressed in my work attire and feeling horrible. The appt was easy, long story short I booked 3 services after talking with a friend at my job site that was at a reception that used one of their Djs. The DJ arrived quite early even before the tables were set up at the reception site. The service was great, he took requests and played what we had liked as well. I should also mention that he had to coordinate breaks with the 3 piece band we hired and there was never a moment where the music wasn't playing.

We picked this vendor based on price. They were quick to reply to emails. Our DJ Matt was awesome - he did a great job. There are flexible in that any music not on their website they will get as long as it is availble on itunes. I had selected special music for the dinner portion of the evening and the there was a goof up at the office. Matt ended up with a blank CD instead of my hand selected music. Matt was great, he got the list and downloaded all the music prior to the dinner. Matt saved the day. Matt played a good selection of music that kept people dancing and helped out with a few annoucements. He let the music speak for itself.

Jason was AWESOME!!!! We had a difficult venue and he needed to do our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception and pulled it all of flawlessly. We were really anal about what music we wanted played and he was spot-on.

Also, my now-husband requested a really obscure song mid-dance and Jason spent the time finding it on You Tube and somehow managed to download it and play it right then...it was awesome.

Picking the music beforehand was ok, but a little inundating. They also lost some of our music and we had to bring a cd of it before the wedding. The website was a little confusing, but everything worked out in the end. The dj they picked did a fantastic job on the music and was very helpful and willing to play music on the spot.

Overall very good, though they did not have some of the songs we would have like played. We could have brought them on a cd, but we overlooked that during the final few days before our wedding.

The services overall were easy to book, we simply waited for a discount to make the process more affordable. Our specific DJ called us earlier in the week before our wedding, but I think we should have been more proactive in talking long before that. He respected our wishes, and kept time for us, to ensure we got to do everything we wanted during the evening. He was quiet (as my husband wanted), and kept the guests dancing as much as possible.
Overall, we enjoyed the experience with them.

Our DJ was everything we wanted in a DJ - he played a wide variety of songs, which included songs that we wanted and also songs that would get the energy up. When our dance ended at midnight, we still had 25 people out on the dance floor. I don't think the dance floor was ever empty. We didn't really like the fact that they charged 20 percent for the tip, however. We already paid $600 for the DJ service, why should we have to pay $120 for the tip?

The DJ would not play guest requests, It took a long time and a threat of no tip to get him to play a request made by my godmother. The music he chose to play was popular and the dance floor was never empty. It was not too expensive and we also had them provide the ceremony music and the music for both the dinner and social hour as well. They did not require us to provide a meal for the DJ but we chose to anyway and he was greatful.

This was a good vendor for us. We started contacting DJ's approximately 10 months before the wedding, and they were very quick to respond from the very beginning, and they offered us by far the best price for the service, so we booked them. We did not have much contact with them after that until about a month before the wedding, which was fine with us. At that time, we started filling out the required info on their website, and discovered that both the songs we wanted for our first dance, and for my dance with my father, were not listed on their online listening center. We emailed them, and they promptly responded and let us know that they would make sure to have the songs we wanted ready for our wedding day. Our DJ, Matt, was great. We talked to him 2 days before the wedding, and he really put us at ease. He did a great job choosing songs, and the dance floor was packed all night long. We had a few guests complaining that he wouldn't play a song that numerous people requested, but it turned out that the song that was being requested was one that was on our do not play list, so we were very happy to hear that he didn't play the song, even after multiple requests. All in all, they provided quality service and were good about being quick to respond to any questions or requests we had.

Jason was a pleasure to work with and stayed in the shadows as we had requested. he even got all the music we had requested and agreed to keep the wedding cheesey chicken dance and all other related songs free!

DJ did play from a list we provided on our personal laptop. We felt that the DJ could've been a little bit more involved and a bit louder.

Bellagala was very easy to work with in setting up the DJ for my wedding, they were very professional and very enjoyable to deal with. After ocmpleting your profile online, they match you with a DJ that they believe would suit the style of your wedding. The only problem was that the DJ is supposed to contact you about two weeks before the wedding to review the details. I actually had to contact him a few days before the wedding because we still hadn't heard from him. Also, it seemed as though he hadn't even read our profile online because we had to fill him in on the phone all over again. And some of the dances we requested, he totally forgot to do. So overall, the company was great to work with, the DJ we had could have improved his performance a bit.

The big band was incredible - one of the highlights of our wedding!!!

Overall, great. a single laptop with some speakers hooked up to it seems odd to me these days but, the music got everyone dancing, the DJ was great - got people up, excited to participate. He was friendly, asked all about what we wanted that day. good stuff.

I had a good experience wth the Bellagala DJ Ryan. My main goal for finding the wedding DJ was that he would play the music that we requested (large variety and some international). Bellagala was very easy to work with from out of state and online. My only complaints are that I wish we had started our song list earlier and that we had been able to talk in person to the DJ prior to the event (able to reach by email but never able to meet in person or talk on the phone during the week prior to the wedding)

The evening ended VERY well! :)

We contracted our DJ thru Bellagala - I wish I could give this 5 out of 5 like everything else from Bellagala however our DJ didn't know his equipment. He had trouble setting up the speakers and therefore we didn't have any music thru our cocktail hour. He didn't try to contact us during this time - my husband is big on music and had spent over 6 hours picking out songs on the Bellagala website.

Once things were up and running our guests enjoyed themselves. They didn't know the DJ wasn't reading the crowd and playing music to get people to dance or mixing up slow songs. My husband knew... but our guests did not.

Our DJ didn't have the 'first dance' song, nor did he know how to work his microphone. My husband got him the reception companies microphone - and then he didn't play the right song.

However, in the end he ended the night with a song that my husband and I LOVED and therefore he got a tip from my husband.

Just OK. Didn't play the songs we explicitly requested before the event and was very slow to play requests of guests during the event. But the music selection was fairly good (only one song that cleared the dance floor).

They did our DJing and Videography. The price was great and quality great, but they response time is horrible. We had to call multiples times before people would call us back and it took several months to receive our video back.

Our D.J. was sick so a replacement was sent... needless to say we were not thrilled. The DJ that arrived did not have OUR music and did not have a way of getting it. My finance and members of the bridal party spent the 2 hours leading up to our wedding scrambling for music. 1 min. before our ceremony was to start the Bellagala arrived with a new cd with our music. ARGH!

We have very specific music tastes and our friends all go out dancing and some of our friends are DJs. So we wanted a service that would set up the music equipment, run the music equipment and play our exact play lists in the order we provided them in because they were designed by a prominent club DJ. I know that's no fun for a professional DJ, but we made that very clear when we booked, when we confirmed, and whenever I panicked and called to make sure they understood that they were to play exactly what was on the CD's we provided in order and to take direction, if needed, from our DJ friends. And of course, that's not what happened. The DJ played music that was clearly not even within range for our age group and style and just when people would start dancing he would play something that would send people running off the floor. He was a nice guy and very professional and attentive to the equipment, but it didn't work out well at all. The DJ himself was probably good at his job, and I think the problem originated in communication from the central sales office, who always called or wrote that it would be just fine, no problem. No so much! We would have been better off, though more of a hassle, just renting sound and light equipment and setting it up ourselves.

I was very disappointed in our DJ. After reading a bunch of reviews on Bellagala DJs I was really excited to have them for our wedding. The DJ never called me the week of the wedding like he said he would, I had to call him. The day of the wedding he forgot some music and asked my brother if he could use his computer. Then he played the wrong song for the bridal party to walk down to. Once we arrived at the reception site everything was fine until the dancing started. He forgot to do the bridal party dance and the dollar dance. We were really looking forward to the dollar dance to help raise a little bit of money for the honeymoon since my husband and I had to pay for the entire wedding and honeymoon on our own. I also had a ton of people coming up to me asking why the DJ won't play their requests. Lots of people didn't dance because the DJ wouldn't play what they wanted. I told the DJ to play whatever they want. So, I was quite disappointed in our DJ to say the least. I thought the rest of the wedding was amazing. I just wish the DJ would have been great as well. He definitily didn't deserve his tip.

Our DJ on the wedding day was okay, nothing special. He tried hard to convince us to play song we had put on our "do not play" list, which was irritating. He missed playing two songs that we had specially requested, and even provided. The office staff was a disaster. There were multiple mistakes with paperwork, including losing our contract and double billing us.
