Book your reception someplace else. The City of Belleair Beach staff members are unethical and rude. The Clerk is the most ignorant person I have ever met and her manager is completely checked out. You are certainly dealing with stereotypical government workers here. You'll get better customer care at DMV and DFS.

I choose this location because it was beautiful and the perfect balance between being near the water but not on the sand. The facility is almost new and in excellent condition. I was on a budget and felt like the rate was very affordable. I did have some concerns when I booked it about the ceremony being close to the road and too noisy, but it turned out to be not a problem at all. The biggest problem I had with this vendor was their lack of customer service. I don’t even know if words can describe what a hassle it was to work with this place. Initially, I was told if I hired a caterer they would have the insurance that was needed. Then I was told that although my caterer would have it, all my other vendors also needed it and I also needed a policy for my guests. I was being contacted constantly even up to the week of the wedding about the insurance not meeting their standards, even though I had an email from the insurance agent stating it did. When I voiced my frustrations with the contact person at the venue she did not apologize at all but instead talked OVER me and said how frustrated she was. Really?! Although she told me numerous times that she was not that knowledgeable about insurance, she was insisting that she knew more than three different insurance agencies about how to write a policy. I ended up having to purchase a second insurance policy which cost me money I hadn’t budgeted for. With everything I had to purchase that wasn’t included with this venue I could have gone somewhere more inclusive that would have treated me with some customer service. It also took over three weeks to receive my deposit back after the event. Overall, considering the stress and lack or service that I experienced I would not recommend this place to other brides.
