Reviews for Bellissima Vita
The husband and I agree she was one of the best money spent on our wedding. I can't believe we were this close to not hiring her with DH being so tight on our budget. She was affordable but DH didn't think it was an investment that was a priority to us. I insisted with all my might and saved my money to make sure we get Lisa. At the end of the day my husband kissed me and said he was glad he married an insisting woman. A compliment like that from him is like send a rep from the skeptic men association.
Lisa covered all bases. My number 1 stress was things were going to get missed. I considered myself very detailed but when we first met with Lisa she was more detailed than I was. It was astonishing to me and DH because I planned events for my family all the time. I was sure I would be prepared for her. Nope. She's the wedding insurance you definetly should invest in.
I agree. She's so organized and calm. That's one thing I wished I had. She went over and beyond and helped us for 3 nights in a row to get everything together. I was here freaked out during those nights and she would pull me aside and calmly get me back on the focus of our goals. It was like I hired a secret moh.
Thank you Lisa and I hope you read this. You made our wedding amazing. It would not be the success that it was without you by our side. Many blessing and luck on your future endeavors because person like you is deserving.
I hired Lisa 5 weeks before my wedding (after I realized that I can't enjoy my day turning over the details of my wedding to the 1st DOC I hired). Having Lisa as my DOC was one of the best last minute decisions I made. You couldn't tell she's just starting out her DOC services with her organization and attention to details.
She went through all my vendor contracts immediately after I hired her. She thought of every little details I didn't even think about. She asked questions and didn't make any assumptions on how I want to do things. She made all the calls to my vendors 2 weeks prior to our wedding and kept me informed on everything that's going on.
My sister (my MOH) enjoyed working with Lisa during the reception. Our guests showed up 45 minutes early and somehow Lisa handled it. There was also a missing table name and Lisa made one on the spot. When it was time to do our money dance, I told Lisa that we are not going to do it because my mom forgot the pins but Lisa actually found them and got the the pins for us.
I had the time of my life during our wedding and Lisa made that possible. I was able to let go and really enjoy our day because Lisa was there. If you haven't hired a DOC yet, don't make a decision until you meet Lisa.
Lisa was absolutely one of our fav vendors and best "investments" for our wedding! We couldn't have trusted a better person to be our DOC. From the weeks leading up to the big day, to the actual day itself, she had provided a tremendous amount of invaluable help that enabled us to have the wedding we dreamed of, stress-free style :-D.
Like the other girls said, you can never tell Lisa is "new" to the business. Our wedding size was on the smaller side but the amount of our details was anything but. And being the slightly "anal" bride I was, which included having to have the favors, the order of throw pillows on the lounge sofas, down to the votives on the tables (and much more) placed *just* a certain way, Lisa's attention to details handled my "challenges" and executed our vision with no sweat. We also had more vendors than usual as we had hired companies to provide lighting and pipe and draping, lounge furniture, as well as special centerpiece candelabras. That was a lot of extra arrangements to keep track for my poor DOC! But Lisa’s a natural born wedding planner and never missed a beat.
At our initial meeting she asked all the good questions so to understand the many details of the upcoming big day. In the weeks leading up, she looked over our vendor contracts and contacted them to confirm all the arrangements. She maintained close communications with us throughout this entire time, was always prompt with her responses and handled all aspects like a seasoned pro. When I had to make a few final changes to our floor plan, it was truly impressive to see how effortless it seemed for her to stay on top and remember all the different changes I threw her way. When I was stuck on figuring out how to divide our photographer's time before the ceremony, she saved me tons of headaches by suggesting the perfect solution. On the big day when my florist realized the hanging orchid strands for the ceiling didn't work like she had originally thought, Lisa, with her FABULOUS taste she's famous for, came up with an alternative solution without compromising A BIT the look I was going for... all while without worrying me for a sec.
Because of her, my groom and I, as well as our bridal party and families, were all able to truly enjoy the day without worrying about scrambling for “the next task” coming up.
All in all, Lisa is organized, super calm (AND calming), responsive, professional, and has impeccable taste. She genuinely cares about her clients and is passionate about what she does. I will always highly recommend her without the slightest hesitation.
Lisa from BV weddings was a dream to work with. She was so organized throughout the entire process and did not let one item slip through the cracks. It helps that she has a legal background because she was able to review all the vendor contracts for me to make sure everyone was doing what they agreed upon.
A few weeks before the wedding she contacted all the vendors to make sure everyone was set, reviewed contracts, put together a timeline and organized all the set up of ceremony and reception. She attended our rehearsal and did walk throughs at venues with me and caterer prior to wedding. She even kicked my butt in to gear when I was being lazy about finalizing songs and ceremony stuff.
Lisa has such great taste in design and decorating that I had total faith that whatever she did at the reception would look great. I didn’t really tell her what to do because I knew that she has good judgment and would pull it off beautifully. And she did!
She is a total gem and I can say, a good friend now. Thanks Lisa!
Lisa is exactly what you want in a wedding coordinator; detail oriented, hard working, attentive and just plain nice. She was always quick to respond to e-mail and gave me a lot of good advice and insight throughout the planning process. Lisa's taste is impeccable and I completely trusted her to take my ideas and run with them on my wedding day. Everything looked beautiful and she magically battled the afternoon wind and somehow kept everything in their proper places. Who knows what other fires she put out that I never even heard about. She was indispensable.
I can't speak highly enough about Lisa Zanassi at Bellissima Vita Weddings! She is the most organized, thoughtful and talented woman :) She made my wedding a masterpiece. I completely trusted her to carry out my vision. I had so many little details, that I planned out and she managed to pull it all off. She was great at keeping me oblivious to all the stressful little things that were going on and she was always calm and collected. She also has impeccable taste, so I knew she'd make the best choice when it came to decor changes. She didn't let me down! If you've already booked her for your wedding you made a great decision! If you are still looking for a coordinator, you couldn't do better than Lisa :) I completely (& highly) recommend her!
Hiring a DOC is one of those decisions that we went back and forth about during our planning. As organized as I *think* I am, I realized that I would need help to execute my ideas. Upon meeting Lisa Zanassi Blake of BV Weddings, I was impressed by her ideas and laughed out loud at her humor. I knew that I wanted her as my DOC.
She is definitely worth it in peace of mind alone. A few weeks before the wedding, she checked up on my progress constantly, helped me finalize my timeline, confirmed all the vendors and even lent a patient ear when I vented about my frustrations. She was a ROCKSTAR on the day of, making sure that all the details were in place, everything was on schedule, making sure we had slices of cake (the piece DH and I cut out do not count, people!), and worked her butt off getting things packed up at the end of the night.
My favorite "Lisa saves the day!!" moment: DH made a "Table 19" sign when it was supposed to be "Table 9", Lisa whips out some white out and fixes the sign on the spot. Who carries white-out with them?!
I am extremely grateful to Lisa for all the hard work she put in for us. Despite the 16 month planning period, my wedding would not have been as wonderful if it weren't for her. I highly recommend her services.
Lisa is truly amazing. She may be "new" to the biz but she is by no means unqualified. She has so many great ideas and can really pull things together. I had 100% confidence in her when I hired her and 110% confidence in her post wedding. She rocked!!
