Beloved Cakes

I was so excited about our wedding cake! The flavors were great, we went with two layers of chocolate for our cake, and two white layers...Laura had some great ideas. We decided to go with a thick chocolate decadence cake with chocolate chips, almonds, and a marshmallow filling, so very yummy! We also had a layer of white wedding cake with raspberry filling, and a heavenly chocolate cake layer with caramel filling. The cake was then covered with a chocolate cream cheese frosting...it was an absolute hit! All of our guests loved it, many of them tried to get two or three slices so they could try all of the different flavors!
We did save the top of the cake, but we actually ate it the day after the wedding. It was amazing! I can't wait to order a mini cake for our first anniversary.
