Ben McMillen Photography ($600)

I had Adrienne as my photographer and she was just horrible. Her pictures came out like one of my guests was snapping photos. Out of all the pictures she took there were maybe 10 decent ones. She did not capture good angles and she hardly took pictures of the moments that she should have, like our first dance as husband and wife. I was so disappointed I seriously cried when i got my pictures. When I contacted Ben, the owner he was nothing but rude and said I was being rude because I did not like my photos and apparently I was being disrespectful to his employees. Seriously because of this company I have no wonderful photos of my wedding and for the price I paid I was expecting something amazing. Save your money by going to someone else who is more professional and wil be more willing to work with what you want.

I had some reservations about McMillen photography in the beginning, because when I first contacted them I was told that Ben himself was available to shoot our wedding photos. When we went to book, we found out that another photographer would be shooting instead, and I had never met her. However, everything turned out great. Jessica shot beautiful photos, made sure to take every photo I wanted, and got a lot of really nice candid shots. Amanda, the woman who does scheduling and coordination, got back to us in less than a week with our online proofs. I can't wait to see our pictures in person, because they look so wonderful online.

I chose Ben McMillen Photography as our photographer (a family member) was unable to do it that day. I felt that the value was exceptional for the price (we had the photographer, Chelsea, for 5 hours and will get a proof book and a CD with our package). The only things that I wished were different were that I wished we had taken more outside pictures (the day was beautiful) - although there was not really much background scenery available. Also I felt that in some of the shots you could tell that one of the people was not looking at the photographer and was probably distracted by something or someone else taking a picture; I wished that Chelsea had directed our attention to her or if she did do that, more assertively, to make sure that we were looking at her and not off to the side (this was in the posed pictures) as you could see this in some of the pictures. I also wished 1) that she had been a little more creative with some of our poses (as on the slide show on the main website) - but since we did only have her for 5 hours that may have been why; 2) I wished that we could have reviewed our pictures after she took some of them (as I feel that I am not the most photogenic person) but maybe that is not done with wedding photography. Overall, the pictures turned out nice and we will most likely order an album (they had some really cool choices) from them in the next several months.

Ben is a consummate professional and the BEST at what he does. The day (weather) wasn't the best but he made the most of it and the pictures are absolutely beautiful! Our wedding day was perfect and wouldn't have been this way without his services!

I HIGHLY recommend Ben and the company! We wouldn't change a thing about their service from start to finish.

The videographer was so friendly and accomodating. He ensured he never missed a beat during the whole day! Thanks to his professionalism we received a wonderful product!

Our photographer Chelsea was fantastic! She handled the stress of the day wonderfully, even when there were five different people telling her what she should do. McMillen's studio was always professional and courteous and proactive, contacting us rather than waiting for us to call them. The pictures turned out beautifully!

Ben and Ed were WONDERFUL!!!!! They were very professional and exceeded our expectation. The photobooth was BIG HIT at our reception. I would highly recommended them to any bride that is looking for a GREAT photographer and photo booth for their wedding.

I Loved everything about this group! The photographer Chelsea was younger then i thought but she didn't miss a beat! fit in great with my family. The only thing is i would have liked a little more direction, but iknow my family can be overwhelming!

We had McMillen Photography out of Waynesburg, PA do our wedding pictures. I can't say enough how awesome Eddie Hughes, our photographer, was. My husband does not like pictures and Eddie was so accommodating and nice about it all. Also, what we got in our package for the price was amazing! We used McMillen Photography for our Pittsburgh wedding last week at Phipps. Ben was our photographer. He was a pleasure to work with. He showed up early, took great pics, and never got in the way. He was flexible and worked with us the entire day to take a variety of photos just the way we wanted. He was patient and did a great job including everyone in the photos. His shop turned around the pics in a few days and created a slide show for us as well. I would highly recommend him.

Ben did an awesome job! very nice and professional and timely! the pictures were great! he was very patient and took any pics we wanted and very flexible. he was very nice to negotiate with my brother about rights to the pics (we paid for that) and we got our cds in about 2-3weeks after the wedding.

You do not have to pay thousands of dollars for quality -- we paid about $1500 and got unlimited time and pics!

Ben did an awesome job - definitely VERY happy with his services and Amanda his helper- very polite and helpful also! (she emails back and forth with you about your day)

We loved McMillen photography! Super friendly guys and very understanding of the different customs in my Bangali wedding! Also super helpful for engagement sessions! The pictures were awesome!

I used ben mcmillen for a photobooth at my wedding recently. The price was great compared to some other photobooth companies in the pittsburgh area and they were willing to travel about an hour at no additional cost! The only thing I was a little disappointed by was the quality of the photostrips. Most of them were very dark and some were quite blurry. Overall though our guests LOVED the photobooth and we got a nice guestbook with all the photstrips saved in it.

I did not utilize the photography services from McMillen, which looked absolutely beautiful and very reasonably priced. I did use their photo-booth. I choose their booth because of the low prices. The photo-booth was a great hit at the wedding, unfortunately the attendant that I was supposed to receive was unable to attend and the step in was not of equal quality. Because the photo-booth is very automated it was not a big issue, however he was unprofessional in both his dress and demeanor. I know that Ben is an great and very professional guy and I would still recommend his company, but I would recommend that as a bride you make sure that it is an employee from the company that is running your booth. If I had done the same then I really wouldn't have been able to bet the quality for the price.

I was fortunate enough to have Ben as my own wedding photographer. He captured the day perfectly and was a true professional, never missing a shot! I highly recommend him for your next event!
