OK I don't know how expensive flowers can be or really are... but this fit my budget and I thought they were amazing! Karen is a wonderful woman! She was so helpful in drawing out my personal style and encouraging me to be a little daring to stand out on my day! They delivered them they day of and set up our big pieces! It was beautiful!

When I met with Karen, the owner of Best Wishes, I was not only impressed with her shop but with her and how prepared she was before meeting with me. I was fortunate enough by the time I met with her, I knew my wedding colors and what type of flowers I love. I love daisies, but they are not a "Fall" flower. Karen had her challenges, but the professional she is had just the thing in mind for my wedding and boquet. Karen was amazing. I went to meet with her and the only thing that I knew about the flowers was I wanted all red roses. I also wanted to do my own centerpieces. We discussed the design and looked at some pictures. She helped me formulate all the ideas for the wedding and sent me an itemized list of choices. I was able to pick the flowers from a "menu" of choices. She was also very flexible when I needed to add an additional bouquet for the wedding and change the number of flowers needed for the centerpieces. She also dropped the flowers off personally the morning of the wedding to make sure that I liked them all. Would certainly recommend her to anyone.

Best Wishes was great. They recreated a flower arrangement that I found online, and although the price wasn't totally reasonable, it wasn't that bad either. The flowers were gorgeous and arrived on time.

Best Wishes provided amazing floral arrangements for my wedding. From the beginning of my planning I had assumed that I would skimp on flowers to have money to spend elsewhere. Fortunately my mom intervened and convinced me to go to Best Wishes. Every effort was made to understand our color and style preferences. It is clear that the staff know their stuff. I don't know much about floral arrangements and so I put my trust in the expertise of the staff. They brought out flowers to demonstrate what they wanted to do, and they listened to me when I described the overall effect I wanted the flowers to have. Everything turned out so beautifully. My bouquet was breathtaking and really added to the beauty of my wedding photos. My bridesmaid bouquets were just as bright and fun as I had asked, and the large arrangment (which I really hadn't wanted) added so much color and grace to the ceremony. More than anything, the staff was extremely professional throughout the experience. They were up front with their costs and sent us a new price quote every time we made a change. They never tried to upsell us and were flexible with delivery and arrangement. After shopping around elsewhere I can tell you that Best Wishes is the best florist in Blacksburg, at least for providing the things I wanted for my wedding (and even those I didn't know I wanted)!

They provided the most beautiful flowers for the bouquet, the cake, and decorations. My mother-in-law was in charge of most of the decision making, but the staff was very pleasant. And the outcome was gorgeous.

Karen at Best Wishes is wonderful to work with. She is creative and accommodating with your every wish. She is very easy to get in touch with and a pleasure to work with. The flowers she makes are always beautiful. I was extremely satisfied with her work on my wedding.

I thought the quality of the flowers and centerpieces was wonderful for the cost. Everything was exactly how I pictured it and exactly what I asked for. My only complaint was that they were not as responsive as I would've hoped. The owner is the only person available to meet with prospective clients, and being that I was planning my wedding from another state it was hard for me to meet with them because there were many times they were not available.

The flowers provided by Best Wishes were absolutely beautiful. They took my idea and made it even more beautiful than I could picture. The decorations were flawless. The only downside is that they were a little late getting to the event, so they were rushed to put the decorations in place.

The workers at Best Wishes were really helpful. They had done several weddings at my vendor so they had a good idea of which decorations I should purchase. The way they set up the budget is great. They give you size choices and the maximum cost estimate so that you can play around with sizes and bring the cost down depending on what you're looking for. My only complaint is that I got the largest bouquet size and it was still the size of a bridesmaids bouquet.

Best Wishes was fantastic to work with, as they really listened to what I had in mind for the decor and followed it exactly. They also were very helpful in providing ideas where I was unsure of the best route to take, and the final product was perfect. They are incredibly knowledgeable not only about flowers but also about other decorating ideas, and worked with us to fit our budget yet provide all the decorating we were looking for.

Best wishes provided beautiful flowers at reasonable price. With minimal instruction, they created pieces that I had visualized and hoped for in my mind. Best Wishes was amazing and worked seamlessly with my other vendors (cake vendor, reception and ceremony facility contacts) and maximized the value of my money for the flower arrangements by moving them from ceremony hall to the reception ballroom and provided timely setup prior to the guests arrival. I rented/purchased many items from this florist including: bridal bouquet (bride and bridesmaids), groomsmen boutinners, toss bouquet, and flower girl petals, (grand)mothers' corsages, alter flower arrangements, aisle runner and flower to go on the cake inbetween each layer. I am 100% happy with this florist and how everything turned out. Karen was not as responsive as my other contacts due to her very busy schedule and having to juggle a number of big events at the same time, so in that aspect I'd give her 90 out of 100. However, what matters was that "the" day turned out perfectly and there was nothing that I would change about the flower and the services they provided. They were a huge help in moving the flower arrangements from the ceremony site to the reception hall. I did not hire a wedding planner/coordinator for the wedding day, but because I had great vendors the day was seamless and I was able to enjoy it without having to worry about the logistics and the details.
