Beth, I am finally back from the honeymoon and in withdrawl from the most fabulous wedding of my dreams! Thank you so much for helping make the day that our friends and family had talked about for several years come to fruition. Not only did everything exceed JC and my expectations but also those of our friends and family who are still talking about it. We have about 10 photo albums floating around on Facebook! We are all trying to figure out what event we can have next just to relive the magic that was August 22. You were so great to work with in spite of the long distance planning and especially since you had to deal with both me as bridezilla and momzilla:) The icing on the cake was the starbucks that you brought to us on saturday morning....that really was an awesome way to start my day and calm my nerves. We can't thank you enough and hopefully there will be another family event where we can work with you.

I am the mother of the bride since the bride is still "honeymooning." My daughter contacted Beth approximately one year prior to her wedding day. After meeting with
other coordinators, my daughter selected Beth because we both felt completely at ease with her and were confident in her expertise, knowledge, and experience. What struck me immediately about Beth was her willingness to listen to what my daughter and her fiancee visualized for their wedding day. She took scrupulous notes and continually asked questions in order to gain complete clarity. Beth also had the ability to listen to my ideas which were often different from my daughter's and somehow was able to meld them. This could not have been an easy task. Beth had a wealth of information regarding all vendors. She was there with us to discuss and
view vendor portfolios and products and always encouraged us to choose the ones
that best met our needs. We always felt that Beth had our best interests at the forefront. Since the wedding was in Santa Monica,CA and our daughter lived in Scottsdale, AZ we thought it would be difficult to manuever appointments, but Beth
managed it all. Finally, when all vendors were contracted again Beth kept us
up to date regarding all billing. When the wedding date finally approached, Beth
assured my daughter, her fiancee, my husband and I that she and her assistants
would see to it that everything would run smoothly. We, along with each vendor were given detailed timelines/itineraries. Beth exemplified confidence, professionalism,
and calmness all needed when nerves are a bit rattled. The entire day from greeting and giving directions to several vendors, scheduling makeup/hair appointments for our daughter and her bridesmaids (there were 12) to the limo rides to the church(in peak traffic) and back to the reception, to photos, to cocktail hour, to dinner and dancing.
Many people say their weddings went by so quickly and that they were so busy that they didn't quite enjoy the day as much as they would have liked to. This did not happen in our case. Yes, there was plently of excitement and activity. But, our family and friends as well as the bride and groom each had a memorable and fantastic
day that was filled with love and jubilation. And, thanks to Beth Helmstetter we did
not have to fret about anything but were free to enjoy a once in a lifetime day for
our only daughter and husband...

We really do not know how to thank Beth enough. Truly. So many friends and family came up to us to tell us that it was the best wedding they have ever been to, ever.

It felt so collaborative and so close to how we had envisioned it from the start - from the tables to the magnificent flowers, to the lanterns, to the food, to Beth's wonderful and seamless help. Amazing!!! She knew all the best vendors in the Los Angeles area and managed relationships with them so well.

It could not have gone any smoother from our end. It was so surreal to have collaborated on so many details, and the moment the wedding weekend actually began ... immediately, all was smooth, pure enjoyment, without only butterflies in the stomach at the awesomeness of the event, not a worry. And we know that so much of this was brought to fruition by Beth.

In particular, Beth's calmness deserves some serious kudos. In the final weeks leading up to the wedding, and during the events themselves, every interaction with Beth was defined by her calmness. She had everything in order and knew it, and seamlessly conveyed that to us with every interaction. From leaning in to tell us that it was time for our first dance to the asking us if we were ready to cut the cake, the whole night and weekend was just perfect. And everyone agrees.

Magic. Epic. Phenomenal. And my bride and I are usually pretty difficult to please :)

If you're looking for a wedding coordinator in the LA area, or Hawaii, we wholeheartedly recommend Beth Helmstetter. She did an amazing job with our wedding. We worked closely with her to produce our wedding, which had a ton of little touches and personal things we wanted to do. Beth stayed on top of everything and connected us with other great vendors, from our string quartet and videographer to someone who made a custom cake topper for us. Beth was incredibly responsive and helped solve little problems before they became big problems.On the actual wedding day, there were a few small glitches, but we didn't know about any of that. She made sure we had an amazing day, and she and her team handled any issues discretely and with a smile. Whether it was wrangling family members or running out to get emergency eyelash glue, they were on top of everything. I would work with Beth again in a minute - she was a star!

Every one of our guests, including my husband and I, fell in love with Beth.

Till this day, when I think back to our wedding day, I am still SPEECHLESS.

Friends and family that attended the wedding and those that weren’t able to make it, still rave about how I had the most beautiful wedding they have ever seen! Although I would love to take credit for it, it was all Beth!

I really don't know where to begin or select the appropriate words to express how perfect my wedding day was because of Beth. Once we decided to get marry on a plantation on the island of Maui, my husband and I wanted a big, fun, casual wedding. Yet at the same time… we wanted something elegant and intimate as well. I had no idea how Beth was going to pull that off, Beth she did it!

Because my husband and I never really pictured what our dream wedding would look like, we were confident and trusted Beth with all the big and little details and we gave her free range to come up with any creative ideas that would make our wedding unique and special. And she did just that.

Beth went over and beyond our expectations. She has an eye for design and we were impressed with her constant communication with us and our vendors during the whole planning process. From me calling her at 8 in morning of the wedding to find me a blue garter to placing a tiny red rose on every napkin, her dedication and commitment to making sure everything looked absolutely beautiful and perfect that day was all done with ease... or so she made it seem that way :)

I look forward to working with her again when baby showers, birthdays, anniversaries and special events come into play.

I originally planned on taking care of the planning/coordinating on my own and hand it over to an experienced friend for day-of coordination. But my plans changed when we decided to move up the wedding a year and to get married in Maui.

With only 5.5 months to plan a wedding, a super busy but detailed, slightly neurotic, type-A bride that lives in another state (me), a limited budget, and not fully defined ideas, Beth had her challenges. Beth has been a blessing and a complete joy to work with. She is patient, highly organized, professional, friendly, thoughtful, thorough, detailed (she captures it all), efficient, and cost-efficient. She has saved me money while providing above-the-call of duty service -- including providing materials that saved me from lugging them over ot hawaii and securing lower rates from entertainment and site vendors. And she was so flexible -- working with my budget and making sure she understood and can envision my ideas for the wedding. Never did she impose herself nor did she abandon me during this planning process. But she has always tacfully provided her honest opinion.

What I liked most about Beth -- while other wedding coordinators or planners require a deposit before even talking to you about your wedding, Beth took the time to ask questions and provide some helpful advice before the contract was signed. On top of it, her rates are very reasonable and affordable. Other planners of her caliber are much more expensive and require a $40,000 minimum spent on the wedding.

Most of our communications have been via email or phone and it has worked very well given that we're on separate states and 3 hours apart. What also helps are the detailed plans she sends over that includes site setup/layout, food, entertainment, time schedule, costs and other details -- all in one easy to read file.

If you plan on getting married in Maui, call Beth. She will make your wedding planning much easier and less stressful.

Dear Beth,

Nakia and I just returned home to San Francisco today, and I just had to take a moment to get on email to get in touch with you. (I didn't want to call you, as I know you're quite busy right now with your Mexico wedding!) We have been talking nonstop about our wedding day since the big event, essentially replaying it over and over like a movie in our heads. We absolutely LOVED how special our day turned out to be, and we just can't thank you enough for turning our vision into reality. Nakia and I agreed that having you as our wedding planner was one of the best decisions we made; truly it was only because of you that we were able to relax on our wedding day and simply enjoy being present in the moment. I can't begin to express what a gift this was to both of us!

I look forward to catching up with you once you return home and get settled. Naturally I'd love to "re-live" the day with you, and of course, I want to make sure all the necessary accounting and other such business is settled.

That was quite a wedding, Beth. You did so much to make it as special as it was. Thank you for all that you did. So many people said it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and I heartily agree.
