Jennifer at Beyond Buttercream is simply amazing!! Not only did she create the most beautifully elegant wedding cake and grooms cake, but she knocked our socks off with the flavors too! Jennifer made an awesome cheese wedge Greenbay Packers grooms cake for our rehearsal dinner. Inside was chocolate cake with chocolate bailey's irish cream buttercream- SO GOOD!!! Our wedding cake was a bejeweled three tier square ivory cake, and ready for the flavors? Vanilla bean cake with salted crème brulee buttercream and chocolate cake with brown sugar makers mark buttercream- YUM!! All of the flavors are delicious, which made it hard to choose- but the alcohol flavors are especially yummy, and Jennifer is not shy with the alcohol!
Right off the bat meeting Jennifer she was super enthusiastic! We exchanged emails and inspiration photos (mine was a page out of a magazine with bridal clutches- and boy did she run with it!) before hand since I live out of the state, which made our meeting when I came into town super easy! During our tasting, Jennifer gave us great advice as to which flavors would go well together (we were able to pick 2 cake flavors and up to 3 buttercreams). Jennifer makes her cakes so that you get every flavor in each slice- genius! When Jennifer delivers the cake she also brings a diagram to show how to cut the cake. Unfortunately the staff at my venue cut the cake incorrectly and served each flavor separately, but my husband and I were still able to try both flavors! I would suggest telling your wedding coordinator before hand about the cake to avoid this. At our meeting Jennifer also gave us 3 design options at different price points around our budget. This was great visually to see the amount of detail that you’d get for each price point!

Jennifer at Beyond Buttercream designed a cake for me to match my wedding style and my small budget. The cake was absolutely phenomenal - the flavors are very fresh and her Swiss Meringue Buttercream is silky and gorgeous. We had more than enough cake for our guests and we were able to save some for our one year anniversary. Everything with Jennifer from the tasting to the delivery was completely spot-on and I could not have been happier.
