Big Apple was the first and only DJ we interviewed for our wedding, and after meeting Paul, we didn’t need to look any further! We were referred to Big Apple by friends who had already hired them for their wedding. After much wedding planning, we found that word-of-mouth references were definitely the best. Having a personal reference for a vendor makes a big difference. We met with Paul, and we were sold! He has been in this business for many years, and his experience shows. He walked us through every moment of what would happen during the reception, and made sure to spend extra time with us, going over our music and party preferences. Paul was meticulous about having every detail just the way we wanted it, reassuring us that all of our “do’s and don’ts” would be honored. All of our guests raved about the music, and my husband and I didn’t stop dancing all night! It was a great party, due largely to the professionalism and expertise of Big Apple.

With an eclectic mix of amazing music, Big Apple had the guests dancing all night! Every guest has told us how much they loved the music. The night could not have gone so smoothly without our MC, Vinny. With great attention to detail and professionalism, Vinny seamlessly led us from our entrance as bride and groom, to the last dance. Everyone knows your food and your DJ can make or break your wedding! In my case Big Apple Entertainment made my wedding the talk of the town! Our guests were asking us for their business cards all night! Even after the wedding we continued to get inquiries about where we got our DJ from. One guest even called and asked us for our play list. We told him we didnt have one, aside from the songs for the key moments i.e.( first dance, cake cutting, entry songs etc) we just gave the DJ an idea of the music we wanted him to play and he did his thing!
The DJ/MC we worked with was Eric and his partner (sorry can't remember his name). We met with Eric and I liked him as soon as we began talking. He was very personable, funny and full of knowledge when it came to music of all different genres.The price was great, and if you use VIP Country Club for your venue you get a discount with Big Apple because they do so much work there. Our dance floor was full from the moment they began playing music. If you choose them you wont be dissappointed!

Paul, Erik and the team at Big Apple really made our wedding an amazing success. In addition to Erik being a great DJ they provided first class lighting, and an awesome trio of musicians for the ceremony and cocktail hour. I highly recommend them for your event.

WOW! What a wedding, much thanks to Eric and our DJ from Big Apple!! Our several meetings together were such a pleasant and exciting experience! The communication was right on point! Every request was fulfilled and then some. The music was perfect, there was never 1 dull moment on the dance floor. You guys are really amazing, fantastic job!!!!!!!!

I was very happy when we decided to use Big Apple's DJ's at our Wedding, from our very first meeting with them, we knew that was one aspect of the Wedding that we didn't have to worry about. From our initial visit with Paul, to our meeting with Eric (MC) and Vinny (DJ), they treated us like VIP's and listened to what WE wanted. On the day of our Wedding, they did everything we had discussed...as a Bride, it is nice to not have to worry about things on your wedding day. I would and already have recommended them...from one Bride to another....if you choose Big Apple, you will not be dissappointed!

We couldn't have been happier with Eric and his DJs... Everything was wonderful. We keep having guests tell us how great the music was and we couldn't agree more. After speaking with Eric at a bridal show, I knew instantly that I wanted him to do the wedding... he was so easy to talk to, and he totally understood everything that we wanted and didn't want. We tell everyone that we knew that we picked him because he was the kind of guy we would want to hang out with! We just felt like he "got us" right off the bat. For people who don't want the DJ to be a "show", but wants someone who knows good music and can read a room... Eric is your man!

Overall, Big Apple, and Paul specifically, was a pleasure to work with. Paul did a great job on the mic and with the music. People were dancing until the very end of the night. There was a small flub where the music stopped for about 30 seconds, but Paul and his team fixed it and got the party going again. I would definitely recommend this vendor.

From start to finish Big Apple Entertainment was FANTASTIC. They were reasonably priced and worth far more than they charged! They played everything we asked them to, and kept the party lively and fun. Our guests ranged from 4 years old to 83 years old and they all loved the music...we danced the entire night! In addition, Paul was a great MC. He worked very well with our other vendors, he kept the crowd engaged without intruding on our family time, and most importantly he helped guide my husband and I through our reception, explaining and preparing us for all that was about to happen. I would HIGHLY recommend them for any event. Thank you Big Apple!!

Big Apple did such an amazing job at our wedding on 9/30/11. Everything was perfect and we could not ask for more. We are hispanic and wanted a variety of music and they really did an awesome job. They played all of our requested tracks. They nailed every little detail from our entrance to the parent dances. They are very professional and responsive and most of all a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Eric, Pauly, and the whole big apple crew to use you DJ!

Big Apple Entertainment was recommended to us by a friend, and we could not be happier to have had them DJ our wedding. Eric was the DJ, and he is the best! All of our family and friends would not leave the dance floor all night. My bridesmaids didn't even want to stop dancing to make a trip to the bar! I would DEFINITELY use Big Apple for any event, and recommend them to all others!

I LOVE Eric and this company. We got married in July and I have been to over 4 weddings with Big Apple and knew I wanted them as my DJ for the wedding. Eric played everything we were looking for. My husband is a huge underground hip-hop fan and he sent Eric all the music that they couldn't find, which was great because they were able to play all of his music. The entire time we had so much fun and the music was non-stop. My wedding guests are still talking about how they never stopped dancing throughout the entire wedding.

Paulie is the man for helping us host an amazing wedding reception. EVERYONE was dancing at our wedding! He picked the best music and coordinated it well with our request for portuguese music as well. Perfect combo. I would absolutely recommend BIG APPLE to anyone who wants the best DJ.

We used Big Apple Entertainment for the dj, photography, and videography. The dj was excellent. We had a large Caribbean population and needed a mixture of reggae and R&B music. Big Apple worked with us on getting a good play list and the music was a success. We had people on the dance floor from the beginning to the end. The dance floor stayed packed which is what we wanted. Our elder relatives told us they had never danced so much in their life.
The photographer and videographer were also great. We spoke with Bill the night before the wedding so he could get a better idea of what shots we definitely wanted. During the ceremony and reception I seldom felt as though there was a camera in front of me. We can't wait to get our pictures and video back to see what an amazing job they've done, but we are sure the pics and video will come out great!
Having the dj and photo/video from the same place worked out well for us. The package for all 3 services was great and in our budget and they also worked with each other to make sure they were capturing all of our special moments. I would definitely recommend Big Apple to anyone that asked.

Ten years ago Paul did an amazing job at my brothers wedding, so when it was my turn there was no doubt in my mind where to go. Paul did an amazing job, not only was he great to work with but he had everyone on the dance floor all night! People are still calling to say what an great dj we had!

My husband and I are so happy we chose Big Apple Entertainment as our DJ for our wedding, Paul and his crew are excellent, so great to work with. They catered to our exact requests to take our guests on a journey of music through the decades to keep everyone up and dancing, and that was all that needed to be said as Paul's experience and ability to read a crowd are exceptional. Not one person sat down the entire night!! There was such a variety of music, there really was something to please everyone! Paul is a great MC as well, perfectly coordinating his dance sets with the timing of the courses being served at the reception along with the Maitre'D, plus he smoothly handled any change of plans we had for him during the night. I can't thank them enough for keeping our party going all night long, I have gotten so many wonderful compliments from our guests as to what a great party it was and who was the DJ? I'm so happy my husband and I chose Big Apple for our entertainment at our wedding. Paul and his crew were awesome.. so professional and organized! We wanted all our guests, of all ages, to have fun at our wedding and Paul made it happen! Everyone danced the night away.. the dance floor was packed all night..and everyone kept telling us what a blast they had! We couldn't have been happier.

Big Apple was great. From start to finish Eric DeSoto was a wonderful planner and MC. He helped us to get what we wanted within our budget, helped me to pick song selections when I was having trouble, gave us great ideas for slideshow and other things and was such a wonderful MC the night of our wedding.

We had a live percussioneist and the guests thought it was so cool that they could play along. Also, my husband is Cuban and I am not hispanic so Eric made sure to play a mix of both American and Spanish music that everyone enjoyed.

Overall they were couteous and professional and I highly recommend them.

For their 10-31-09 Wedding, our daughter and new son-in-law chose Big Apple Entertainment as their DJ's. They listened and made very helpful suggestions while giving us a great deal on their entire entertainment package! Their special effects, photo montage and tremendous ability to get the crowd up and continually dancing was truly amazing! Paul and his staff continuously read the crowd and keep the music fresh, so the party is never-ending.They offer a 4-part plan for billing which makes payment very reasonable. Bravo to Big Apple Entertainment!!!

Sometimes they could be a lil difficult to get in touch with but overall they did an amazing job for a great price!

Big Apple Entertainment got 185 people onto the dance floor and KEPT them on the dance floor at our wedding. I don't think that we could have asked for more. Thank you Eric for all his advice and in the end, he and his crew did their job..."DJ played the music" and kept the party going! He also listened to us when we talked to him about what we wanted to hear and what we didn't. It was just great!

My husband and I absolutely loved big apple entertainment Djs'. If you want your guest to really enjoy themselves and dance the will with these DJs'. They had a great selection of music and were able to find the song that we reallywanted. I would tell anyone who is getting married to consider big apple entertainment for their event.
