OMG - how do you spell AWESOME!! Bigg Romeo was an absolutely terrific band for our daughter's wedding! Franco and his compadres had everyone up and dancing (constantly) and our guests have not stopped commenting on what a great time they had dancing and how wonderful Bigg Romeo sounded!! (They also got a kick reviewing the photos that they posted on their website/facebook...)

Once Ii knew we were getting a band for my wedding there were no questions on which band Ii was going to choose. Words can not express how happy I was with the band BIGG ROMEO for my wedding day !! They were extremely helpful with all of my many many emails and requests. They allowed my father to practice with them so that he could sing to his little girl on her wedding day !! :) They kept the dance floor packed all night long ! My husband and I both decided that we didn't want typical wedding music played at our wedding-it's just not our style. We heard about Bigg Romeo from my mom's co-worker and went to see them play at Benny the Bum's-it was then that we decided we wanted them to play at our wedding. This is the MOST amazing wedding band EVER! I have been to many many weddings and am proud to say that I had the best band. It was such a good mix- they love what they do and it shows. I would highly highly recommend them to everyone!

Bigg Romeo provided outstanding entertainment at my wedding this month. From the very beginning, Franco was great to work with and made sure that everything ran smoothly. We got many compliments from our guests about what a great band they were. Two added bonuses you get with Bigg Romeo that you don't get from the typical wedding band: quickly uploaded photos from the reception (the pics were great Franco!) and opportunities to see them again and again at local bars and clubs. When we started planning our wedding, we knew that we did not want a traditional wedding band. My sister heard about Bigg Romeo and thought we should check them out. My parents went to see multiple bands, and they absolutely loved Bigg Romeo and invited all their friends to see them perform. My husband and I live in Washington, DC, so we had planned to come up one weekend to see Bigg Romeo. While we only got to see a couple songs b/c of a power outage on the block, we sat down with Franco - the lead singer - in the dark for a couple hours after the power went out, and we absolutely loved him. He completely got our vision for the wedding about just wanting people to be able to dance and have a good time without putting on a show. We went home that night and watched a DVD of Bigg Romeo, and we were hooked.Franco and Bigg Romeo were great to work with in the months leading up to the wedding. Franco is extremely caring and funny. We had a couple obscure song requests, and Bigg Romeo was more than happy to learn them - and then make them sound even better than the original versions. The band played Rocky as we entered our reception, which was the perfect start to the most amazing party of our lives. Bigg Romeo kept everyone on the dance floor, including our families, our parents' friends, and our friends. One of our friends said that he didn't even realize that the songs were covers until halfway through the wedding when he noticed the band at the front of the room (that was how crowded the dance floor was;)). One of my friends emailed me after the wedding to say that "the band was by far the best wedding band I've ever seen -- amazing!" We would highly recommend Bigg Romeo to everyone. They know how to work a crowd to keep everyone dancing, and we cannot wait to see them perform again soon.

There is no reason to look any farther once you meet Bigg Romeo! Franco was more than helpful from the first day we met him. He responded quickly to all of our emails and phone calls. They learned all our wedding songs to help make our day even more amazing. When it came to the day of the wedding Franco stepped in and took the lead and made everything run as smooth as pie. He adjusted a few things as he saw fit which added value to us and to our guests. The music was exactly what we wanted and the dance floor was packed all night long. The entire band was so accommodating, friendly, and they made our day perfect. We could not imagine our day without them!

This band is the way to go.. My wife and I just got married 03 Sept. 2011. Bigg Romeo Played the wedding and people loved them. The dance floor was packed. The band can play everything. We had people dancing between the ages of 15 to over 90 years old. This band did it all and managed to keep the stress out of our planning. Franco was great.We told him what we wanted and the band delivered. It was that simple. 5's across the board. My only problem has been trying to keep my phone from ringing off the hook from people calling so much to tell me how great these guys were.

From the moment we first saw Bigg Romeo, we knew we wanted them to perform at our wedding. Franco was incredibly helpful and very accommodating willing to learn new songs if we requested them. He never made me feel like I was pestering him with my many questions and always responded promptly. We were married 6/25/11 and every time we see a guest they RAVE about the band!! Franco and Bigg Romeo are the best. People of all ages--from 7 to 92--are still raving about how much they enjoyed the band at our wedding. Franco was good at improvising when there were some last-minute changes during the night, and before our wedding he helped us to select songs we did and did not want to hear, and arrange how the night would flow. Just like Franco, the rest of the band is friendly and accommodating. Many of our guests had conversations with band members and were impressed at how involved Bigg Romeo was during our wedding. They really cared about making our day perfect, and they did. They are THE best band and will really make your wedding. Book them early!

Bigg Romeo -- all 9 members -- were absolutely wonderful. They traveled out of state for our wedding, were flexible to weather constraints, and played 2 sets back to back because we were running out of time. But beyond the logistics, the music was fantastic. The dance floor was packed all night long with guests of all different ages. They did a phenomenal, live Horrah (none of that pre-recorded Bar Mitzvah DJ stuff). They worked their tails off for our wedding and it really showed. These guys (and ladies) are great!

Being a musician myself, when we were planning our wedding, I WANTED to have the music. There is absolutely NO OTHER band that could have supplied our soundtrack to our wedding than BIGG ROMEO! These guys learned songs just for us, and they were not even close to traditional wedding songs, but songs that reflected us. We are still getting responses from guests that are still RAVING about the music and its almost three weeks after the reception! Right from the get go, Franco, Crabby and Sandy were completely professional in all of the planning, they even had to "re-arrange" a song in order for it to fit the night, and I don't think the original band themselves could have done a better arrangement than what Franco and Crabby put together for us! My husband and I have known Bigg Romeo for 5 years now and the first thing we did when we got engaged was hire them for our wedding. Their play list is so extensive from oldies to what's the most popular on the radio today. They will also learn anything you ask them to. All of our friends and family raved about how great they were and those that I thought in a million years would never dance (including my mom) actually danced! I highly highly recommend them!

We celebrated our wedding Aug 14, 2010 at the Downtown Club in Philadelphia. I (groom) was in charge of music and called Bigg Romeo after visiting the website and heard them play Shama Lama Ding Dong. Franco was great to talk with and made me feel comfortable booking over the phone band unseen. The day of the wedding Franco and the band were a big help and a main reason for the success of our event. Everyone commented on how high the talent level and choice of songs. By the way we let the band take care of all things musical. They were great. This band is worth every dollar and you will be lucky to have them available to perform at your function. They rocked hard all night. The energy, professionalism, and deep understanding of different genres of music kept guests of all ages dancing and entertained. Their easy going attitude was a welcome change to many wedding vendors. We did have one communication issue about what song my mother and I would be dancing to.

One word to describe Bigg Romeo - AMAZING! If you want to leave your guests talking for days, months, and years about how fun your wedding was...hire Bigg Romeo. How do I know they will talk about our wedding for years to come? Because I first saw Bigg Romeo at a wedding I attended and we still talk about how amazing the band was. After our wedding, so many people came up to us and said how great the band was. The funny thing is prior to the wedding, guests would ask "are you having a DJ or band?" and would always express disappointment when they heard "band". A lot of times bands don't stay current, or don't play what the guest want to hear. Bigg Romeo knows songs that are brand new! But that's not all they play - they can literally play anything. You can trust them to play music that your crowd will like. They asked me to pick our main dancing songs, and they picked the rest of the music (you could be more specific if you wanted to but I left it to them). The best part was that they really paid close attention to what got the crowd going and adjusted their sets accordingly. Everyone danced all night long! They also learned three new songs for our wedding and did an awesome job at each! I would highly, highly recommend Bigg Romeo. If you are looking for a way to "wow" your guests, its not going to be spending an extra $100 per plate on food. It's Bigg Romeo.

If you are looking to hire a band for your reception (I highly recommend you do) or you need music for your ceremony, Bigg Romeo is definitely the band to hire. Their professionalism and talent far exceeded all of our expectations. The guests at our wedding were blown away by the music. We had a cocktail reception so we needed a band that would get everyone on the dance floor and Bigg Romeo definitely had them all dancing. Their repertoire is second to none. Franco was great to work with and even helped us pick out our wedding song. Hiring Bigg Romeo for our reception was the best decision we made.

I cannot speak highly enough about Bigg Romeo! Bigg Romeo was such a great band to have play at our wedding reception. We were fortunate to have them play at our rehearsal dinner but also play an acoustic set on the beach for our wedding. I love how they get the crowd involved!

Songs for them don't start and stop, rather music is produced and it flows from one song to the next-all night long. You may want to put someone in charge of monitoring your attendees to remind them to sit down and take a break from dancing from time to time. Our reception included every reception theme in the book (garter/bouquet toss, salt shaker game, unity candle, happy birthday, longest married couple dance...) Bigg Romeo was the best choice we made while planning our wedding. They kept our dance floor packed with 3 generations of dancers the entire night and not once did they clear the floor with awful music like some DJs do. They also have their own set-lists so we didn't have to do any song planning (of course we could add/delete songs if we wished). Franco was very professional and worked with me to make sure our event went off exactly as planned. There were times leading up to the event where I was quite demanding and he handled it in stride and made sure I was comfortable with the process. this band was amazing. bigg romeo rocked our wedding. we had a wide assortment of guests; quite a few old, quite a few young (20's-30's) but all were entertained. people kept asking about them all night. they accomodated us by learning a few songs, (first dance, father/daughter, mother/son) like it was no big thing. our friends raved. great musical selection. did introductions for us, last minute of the bridal party - even with the difficult last names. would defnitely recommend --- check them out!!!

These guys (and girl) were fantastic. Easy to work with, responsive to questions and excellent performers. Everyone at the wedding enjoyed themselves and had great things to say about the music. They were the least stressful part of the whole day. The band also learned a song by Ben Harper for our dance which they had not played before and nailed it.

BIGG ROMEO was incredible. They were up against a very big challenge as my venue was not the typical wedding venue. Our reception was held at the Southern Mansion in Cape May, NJ- We were announced out on the grounds coming down the staircase....and everything that happened thru out the night happened in all different rooms throughout the mansion....dinner was served upstairs, cake cutting was in the parlor, the Band (BIGG ROMEO) and dancing happened downstairs in the lower ballroom. It was Franco's job to make sure that all of our guests were in the right place at the right time and he was to follow a very strict time schedule to make sure that everything happened just as it should. Franco felt the pressure of this challenge before hand but on the night of the event he was amazing!!! He did not let us down and he did an amazing job at making sure this night was a dream come true for us.....it was a fairytale wedding. Without his professionlism and time dedicated in preparation for this, the night would have been a disaster. Our guests danced ALL night long and had the best time.... Many saying that our wedding was the most fun, most elegant and best wedding they had ever attended. Thank you BIGG ROMEO for everything you did to make our wedding night a night we will never forget! You are the BEST and we highly recommend you to any Bride and Groom!!!

I just was in a wedding at the Highlawn Pavilion in which this band played. They were absolutely fabulous and I truly attribute the fact that this was one of my favorite weddings ever to this band. They played such a diversity of songs that I couldn't imagine a band would be able to play (Kanya West!) --(spelling?) Everyone, even those who are usually wallflowers, were packed on the dance floor. It almost made me regret that I hired a DJ instead of a band for my own wedding in 2005!

We met Bigg Romeo at Jon and Colleen's wedding in the Summer of 2010. I have NEVER seen a party get started like it did with these guys. We recently photographed a wedding at the Loew's Hotel in Philadelphia with Bigg Romeo as the band. They were AWESOME! The bride & groom decided to play a trick the bridesmaids, who were HUGE fans of the band. The bride & groom told the bridesmaids that Bigg Romeo was already booked and wouldn't be able to play at their wedding so they would just have to get a DJ. The bridesmaids were disappointed, but they knew it would still be a fun party anyway. When the bridal party was getting ready to walk into the reception at the hotel, one of them spotted a member of the band walking by and started FREAKING OUT because she was so excited! The bridesmaids started jumping up & down because the secret was out & they had the best night dancing the night away to the sounds of Bigg Romeo. We would highly recommend this band because they always put on a fun & energetic show & have the crowd dancing all night long!
