Bijou did hair and make-up for myself, 4 bridesmaids, and both moms. My aunts from out of town even went there to have their hair done! We all absolutely loved Bijou.
I live out of town, so I had my hair trial done months and months in advance, and my make-up trial done at a different time, also a couple of months in advance. They were flexible with the timing of the trials and even though someone different did the make-up trial, she wrote down all of the colors and it made the wedding-day makeup go really quickly.
The day of the wedding we had a great time hanging out at the salon and getting lunch from the great place across the street. All of the girls were so sweet and fun, and every updo looked equally fantastic.

We found Bijou during one of our preliminary searches for a boutique, and I got my hair done about 6 months before the wedding (cut and color). I have been going to Bijou ever since - they are friendly, affordable, and accommodating! We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the morning before the wedding.

Courtney took care of me all day (hair and mani-pedi). She did a great job and was nice and chatty to distract me from my wedding day stress. My mom and my bridesmaids had their hair done each by a different person, I think. They all looked great, each with a unique look, which is what I wanted.

Bijou was reccomended to me by my friends and family, and i am glad i made that choice. i was kind of nervous but in the end i looked the best i ever have in my life. i thought i was good at makeup, but wow do i stink compared to them, they ere so professional. I had my mother come along with me cause she knew them well and it made the environment great!

Bijou was GREAT! I changed to them on short notice and definately don't regret it. I was fortunate enough to know the owner and one of the hair stylists, which made it very comfortable. Though they were all warm and more than happy to make my big day the best. They wanted to make sure my hair was perfect and the way I wanted it, even though it took 2 trials before the big day to get it right. As a picky person, I feel Bijou was able to deliver great services!
Bijou is the perfect place to go before your wedding to get the best in all your spa treatments. The massaging pedicure chair is out of this world! They also offer manicures, massage, the best in hair design and anything else you could want. Kim Baker, the owner, does my hair and I recommend her highly. It is the perfect location for Skaneateles weddings and will be a great stress reliever before your wedding.
