Birch Photographers

Using a place like Birch means that you don't have to pay as much for your photographer, but unfortunately the quality of the photos taken was not up to par in my mind. For 5 hours of service, with 2 photographers, we only received 900 photos, many of which were duplicates. We hired 2 photographers in hopes to get some pictures with different angles, but instead it appears that every photo was taken by the same person from the same place. The major shots that brides want (picture of the grooms face when he first sees her for instance) were out of focus and from a distance. There framing was bad on the photos that we received. We realize they are unedited, but unfortunately they also look unprofessional. We also had communication problems with Birch and our photographer. Worth spending the extra money to get a photographer that works on their own/has their own business rather than one that is contracted through a company like Birch.

I can not begin to express how much I enjoyed having Birch Photography as a part of our big day! Tony and Steve were our photographers - not only did they do an amazing job of capturing the moments throughout the day, they were so fun to be around and very polite! I was shocked at how fast we received our photos back and how organized and perfect the whole process was. Not to mention, the customer service prior to the day and afterward has been nothing but exemplary. One of the photos was lost in the shuffle (of my husband's whole family) and they found the photo and sent it to me within hours along with a $30 gift certificate to Pictage so I could get the photos printed. HOW AMAZING IS THAT? Birch goes above and beyond with everything that they do and I would recommend them to every single person that I know who is or will be getting married. Thanks Birch!

Worst experience ever! Wouldn't imagine recommending this company to anyone! They did not get a single thing correct from our engagement pictures to our wedding day! Never heard from our photographer, didn't bring what they were supposed to to our wedding, didn't send correct event cards, have to pay for edits to each picture, etc. I can't reiterate enough how disappointed I am in the quality of service and professionalism they provide.

My photographers were Brian and Robin. Both did a wonderful job, were very personable, and very flexible. They worked with me to get all of the shots I wanted, and captured some great photos of my guests. Not only were they high quality for the great value, but my photos were posted online less than a week after my event!

I am very happy that I chose Birch Photoraphy! My photographer was promt and new what to do with out me having to ask her anything. I felt very comfortable with them the entire night of my wedding!

We used Birch Photographers for our fall wedding on Oct 1, 2011. Corinna was our photographer and she was so great to work with. We had met her initially at our engagement shoot where she got a feel of our style and what we were looking for. Birch photographers were very profressional. Prior to my wedding, they sent me a survey to fill out so they knew almot everything about my family, the types of footage I wanted them to take on my wedding day, and any other details. We got our pictures back about 3 weeks after our wedding. It was SUPER fast! Scott over at Birch photographers also put together a teaser slideshow (to music) about 4 - 5 weeks after our wedding. All in all, if you are looking for a great photographer for an exceptional value I would check out Birch Photographers. Great quality and great service!!

The rep we originally spoke with as well as the photographers we worked with were fantastic! We felt we received a good amount of product for what we paid. We would definitely recommend Birch Photographers! We love our pictures and our album is beautiful.

My Photopraher Amy and her assistant, were excellent they listened to everyting we wanted, My husband and I love the game of golf and we got married at the polo fields of washentaw in Yspilanti, I forgot our clubs and Amy's assistant had some in his car, so we were able to do some shots with the clubs, they captured our story perfectly and Birch Photograhers in a whole were amazing, and I had a alot of stressful things happen during the last months of planning, and they were helpful, I loved the payment plan, and I love LOVE LOVE my album. It was well worth everything, Amy was patient and thoughtful with my little ones in my wedding and my mother who couldn't stand for long times. Thank you for making our special day PERFECT

We had some miscommunication the day of the wedding about where I wanted to start the first round of pictures, but the quality of the photos and the final product did not suffer from it. Overall it was a very pleasant experience, and the album turned out beautifully; which is important since getting photographed is what I remember the most about our wedding.

We had awesome service from the start to the finish ! Booking was easy . Whenever I had any questions they were answered promptly . All the photos were brilliant and the wedding book we received with all of our photos was much better then what we were expecting ! We also got a CD with all the photos on it and it was great to look back and see bits and pieces I missed during the wedding . They captured every moment perfectly without being too intrusive ! I recommend them to all of my friends getting married !!
