This bridal show was much smaller and somewhat nicer than the huge show. No complaints here, I just don't think I really like bridal shows.

The Community House is a gem of a venue located in downtown Birmingham, MI. Their staff is wonderful and highly trained. The food is good and their waitstaff is wonderful. The ballroom can be arranged in many different ways. If it is nice outside your cocktail hour can be outside on the patio or you can get married outside. Right out their front door is a beautiful park where you can take pictures. As a Wedding Planner, working there many times, I highly recommend The Birmingham Community House because of all the benefits you get. The Community House offers an elegant tented terrace, perfect for an outdoor ceremony, cocktail reception, or rehearsal dinner. Our Ballroom features a large, built-in dance floor, built-in stage with a grand piano, and access to a charming courtyard with water feature and koi pond. All of our brides receive access to the Ginger Meyer room, a lovely victorian sitting room that may be used as a changing area, or family gathering space.

Room rental fees vary depending on event time-frame and group size.

Do you offer any special services?

We can offer a vast array of wedding services such as, specialty linen rentals, chair covers, ice carvings, ceremony coordination, and horse and carriage rides or trollys for your wedding party.

Do you offer any special packages for rehearsal dinners?

We offer catering from 3 preferred vendors for all of your food and beverage needs. Our caterers are Forte-Belanger, Epoch, and Lakeland.

Do you offer additional items for the ceremony?

Podium and microphone, wireless microphone, lapel microphone, sound system, lighting, guestbook stand, chairs, tables, linens and skirting, set up and tear down.

Do you rent other items such as linens, tables, or flatware?

We provide tables, chairs, white floor-length linens, napkins, skirting, flatware, glassware, china, table numbers, and a sound system with your room rental fee.

Do you require clients to use a specific list of vendors?

We require that clients use one of our three preferred caterers for their food and beverage needs. Only Kosher and ethnic foods may be provided by outside vendors.

Do you require the client to use your musicians? If you do not require this, is that an additional fee to bring in one's own musicians?
