Black Tie Entertainment

Black Tie Entertainment was one of the best investments for our wedding. From the very beginning the owner, Robert, was very professional, accommodating and responsive to my questions and needs. The interactive website made it easy to organize the flow of the night and assured me that the music being played would represent my husband and I as we had wished it would. Beyond the planning process, Robert was extremely flexible with the room set up (since we ended up having more people that anticipated, which made it tight) and made sure that I was happy. Throughout the night, he read the crowd well and played music that everyone loved and made sure the traditional night events were going according to schedule. I would and have recommended Black Tie Entertainment to anyone planning a night that don't want to ever forget!

Rob was the dj for our wedding reception and he did a great job. He was very professional and discreet, kept an eye on the timing and made sure we stayed on track with all the little events (dances, cake cutting) that needed to take place, but otherwise was reserved and kept a low profile (since we didn’t want our dj to be very chatty or leading lots of group activities or anything like that). I had made some unusual requests for music that were not on their online database for our first dance song, introductions and cake cutting – he got all of them for us and only played music we had requested (they provide an ample number of requests - “must plays”, “if possible”, etc.. as well as forms indicating what you want to happen at different moments. Basically, Black Tie did everything we asked to the letter and there is very little I would have done differently. I only wish it could have lasted longer. Those five hours went by fast!

Josh from Black Tie Entertainment was the perfect DJ for our wedding. Us and our guests never left the dance floor the whole night. Josh did a great job reading the crowd and playing the the right music, especially his rendition of Dirty Bit - we loved it! We would highly recommend Black Tie and Josh.

WARNING: If you hire Blacktie Entertainment you are going to have one heck of a good time! Our guests were so impressed with Black Tie's services and what makes it better was that the dj provided props that most of our guests never seen before at weddings. Everyone had so much fun with the blow up guitars and mics, then we had the moroccas and hawaiian lays for the congo line! They also provided uplighting for us throughout the venue that added a touch of elegance. It was good times! Mike was awesome and on top of everything! He was very helpful through out the process and got back to me very quickly if I had any questions. I would definilty recommend Black Tie to any future brides and grooms that want their wedding day to be fun and memorable!

I can tell you honestly that DJ, Robert and his assistant at Black Tie Entertainment did a superb job of helping us make our wedding day a beautiful memory for the rest of our lives! Robert was very professional from first contact to the last dance. He met all of our special requests for additional sound requirements with speed and ease so that we didn't have to worry or think about it. During the ceremony and reception, Robert was always nearby to make sure we kept on schedule while still being flexible enough for any changes that came up. He and his assistant even played a version of a song that I had just sung to my wife a moment earlier while we cut the cake without knowing in advance what song I had performed. All I have to say is WOW! Michael was such an awesome DJ. He made sure that my groom and I did not stress throughout the entire time. Whether we had questions about picking out music, asked a million questions, or going over how the day would work.. Michael was kind, patient, and had a genuine concern for making our wedding day special. He knew the layout of Colonial Country Club and had everything all set up. The sound system for the ceremony and the mic for the pastor was perfect and clear. The family raved about how great the music was and the variety played. They also commented on how entertaining he was. I am so thankful I was referred to Black Tie Entertainment and had Michael as our DJ.

We recently got married and had Michael Cole come and do our entire wedding from ceremony, cocktail, and reception. I can't say enough how beautiful and perfect everything was! Michael did a fantastic job and was wonderful to work with from beginning to end. He made sure we were happy and was checking in with us the whole night of the wedding. To our shock, my husband and I didn't think that many people were going to be up dancing, but with Michael's experience and awesome personality, he got everyone up dancing!! They set up the most beautiful uplighting in the room that gave it such a romantic feeling (I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF HAVING A WEDDING/MAJOR EVENT/ OR IF YOU JUST WANT THE ROOM TO LOOK BEAUTIFUL.) All of our guests are talking about how much fun they had and probably will for a long time. This is definitely one of those things where you NEED to have Black Tie Entertainment do your event. It's worth every penny and they go above and beyond your expectations. We could'nt have pulled it off without Michael & Black Tie Ent. being there. I have know Robert and his wife for many years. I used to be Catering Director at a large hotel locally. We have worked many, many events together and he is the best. When it came time for my daughter's wedding April 9th, 2011, I knew exactly who the DJ was going to be. I called Robert right away when she got engaged to make sure the date was available as he is in such demand. Luckily it was! I executed over 1500 weddings in my career and Robert is #1. He is Professional, Handsome, always on time, his equipment is clean and organized, he not only plays music, but he MC's and basically manages the entire event from start to finish so that you don't have to worry about a thing or whats next. He knows how to read a room and know what to play when to keep things flowing smoothly. My daughter's wedding was PERFECT! There was a magic in the room, no one ever sat in their seat, they were dancing or celebrating the entire night. Rob is top notch! Thanks again for making Lindsay and Jim's Wedding a dream come true! Robert and his wife just did our daughter's wedding on April 2. I want to thank them for their outstanding performance. They kept the party alive from beginning to end. You truly are a people person and that’s what I loved the most about you. You were there for anything and everything…that’s excellent customer service. In addition to the wonderful memories captured through music for those special moments of the newly weds, one of my very “favorite” most memorable moments was when you asked everyone to stand up and join together for “We are Family” that just hit me right in my heart given that often at times people are just divided because of whatever is going on in their life but if there was anyone in that frame of mind; you brought them together …mission accomplished! Our wedding was on 03/26/2011 and we used Black Tie Entertainment , Josh was our DJ for the wedding. Josh did a great job and everybody danced all night , the lighting was awesome (use the LED uplighting) it changes he entire feel of the room in a great way. Josh was always making sure that everybody was having a good time and enjoying the music and knew exactly how to get the party going. I would recommend him and black tie to anyone any day. I want to start out by saying sorry to DJ Joshua for not posting this sooner. We used Black Tie for our wedding March 5 and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. One of my main concerns with our group of people was making sure everyone was in their seats and eating their meals since we did plated and that afterwards everyone was on the dance floor. Josh and his assistant Kelly were excellent at not only Djing the event but basically emceeing everything and making sure that the whole wedding ran smooth from start to finish. The lighting looked fantastic and the music was everything that we asked for and more. I couldn't imagine doing the whole thing over again without them and neither should you. If you are looking for a great DJ/Emcee for your wedding and want everyone to have a great time, look no further and put your trust in Blacktie and more specifically, Dj Joshua. They might not be the cheapest but is a couple bucks worth the risk of not having the best day possible, I think not. I have nothing else to say but, Thanks again...

Rob with Black Tie Entertainment was great! Not only did he "complete" the look of the venue with their great uplighting he did an amazing job as MC/DJ! He had people on the floor ALL night dancing! Rob and his assistant was amazing! I am a professional wedding photographer (www.butterflykissphotos.com) and I have worked with him and his team a few times before. I got married on January 29, 2011 and I knew I wanted him and no one else to DJ my wedding ceremony and reception. I knew I wanted to choose black tie entertainment for their professionalism, quality of equipment and lighting, and most importantly, they can throw a party! All wedding receptions I have worked with him, the dance floor is always full. Now my personal wedding was fantastic and a blast, I did not want the night to end. The dance floor was entirely full the entire time. Great variety of music for everyone and of all ages. I always recommend him to my brides! Also he offers a wide variety of packages and lighting. We also added blue up lighting and a monogram gobo light that went around on the dance floor and walls and they were perfect.

Black Tie Entertainment was highly recommended to me by photographers and former brides. After my experience at Black Tie at my wedding, I would without a doubt recommend them as well. We worked with Robert Dilallo as the DJ for our wedding. He ensured everything ran smoothly by contacting us prior to the wedding to make sure we were on the same page of what we wanted and then during the wedding he kept in constant contact with us to let us know what was going on and if we were doing ok or had any concerns. Robert did everything in his power to get people on the dance floor and the night was flawless. I also have a medical condition and Robert was constantly checking on me to make sure I was physically ok which was a blessing. It was nice to have that personal touch. Josh was the main DJ at my wedding....He was great and so much fun! I would hire them again any day!

Joshua from Black Tie was our DJ, but he also did our ceremony music and A/V, since we did an outdoor ceremony on a lawn with no power/sound equipment. Everything really was perfect - the ceremony music and sound from the microphones was all flawless and they had everything set up early, including doing sound-checks with our officiant and a friend that sang during the ceremony - I really hate it when you're at an outdoor wedding and you can't hear the music or what's going on in the ceremony, so I was SO glad Black Tie did such a great job and just nailed everything for the ceremony. They were also fantastic at the reception and really kept the party going - I gave a little less than 5 for flexibility because they were very firm in their opinions about what should happen when in the party and/or how things should go, which seemed inflexible at first - but ultimately I was really glad we trusted their expertise and went with Joshua's recommendations, as the party was a great success and everyone, including us, had an amazing time. He really rolled with things in the course of the night, even busting out the traditional Jewish chair-dance song when one of the groomsman decided we needed to be hoisted on chairs at the spur of the moment! The event lighting was really cool too - both the laser light show thing included in our package and the purple uplighting we had them do - it really changed the look of the room and made it look like an elegant fantasy land at the beginning and evolving into more of a dance-club look later in the night. My husband and I really wanted to enjoy our wedding and with Joshua we were able to do exactly that - he played a great mixture of our "must-play" and requested songs and others that would get our guests out there with us, and we danced the night away with each other and our family and friends and could not have been happier with the service and style of Black Tie Entertainment! I've had several guests ask me who the company is and say what a great time they had, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Black Tie to anyone!

Rob with Black Tie Entertainment was amazing! One of my co-workers recommended him and i'm so greatful that they did. His website is easy to use and if you can't find a song he will get it for you. He has many DJ's that work for him but Rob is the best. Everyone at our wedding had such a great time. I've been to weddings where knowone dances and it's so boring. I didn't want my wedding to be like that. I don't think there was one time we didn't have people dancing, and our reception was five hours. He was upbeat and kept the party going. We had ten Cobolt Blue uplights and props for music. I wasn't sure if our guests would like the props, but everyone went nuts over them. My friend also used him and she had the fog for her first dance which is another effect he has. It was beautiful. Overall if you don't book with Black Tie Entertainment you will be dissapointed. Rob from Black Tie Entertainment did an outstanding job for our wedding in November. A DJ can really make or break a reception, and he delivered. Definitely not the cheapest out there, but you get what you pay for.

Rob was our DJ from Black Tie entertainment and he exceeded my expectations for our wedding. First, he was always very prompt to return any email or phone call, which is very important for any bride, especially one from out of state. The week of the wedding he was in touch with me in regards to what was a must for the wedding and what we could leave out. Rob was very respectful to my likes/dislike and at the same time also suggested particular songs that are sure to get the crowd on the dance floor. He was right...the floor was packed the whole night! Rob checked in with us through the night which was nice to know that he had us in mind. He truly was an EXCELLENT and CLASSY DJ. We received a lot of compliments from guests that he was the best DJ! I would highly recommend him, we didn't want the music to stop (we did extend the night)!!

We had a great experience with BlackTie Entertainment. Mike Cole was our DJ for our wedding and reception at Fiddlesticks Country Club. He was a huge help selecting our music in adavnce and put on a great program. He planned for every contingency and we were very confident and comfortable during preperation. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ.

Mike was my DJ and he did an awesome job. Everything was beautiful and so much fun. I couldn't have asked for more. He checked with me throughout the night to make sure everything was going well. He even worked with my Dad and my wedding coordinator for a special surprise. Even though it took me a few days to get them together, I give Mike credit as he made sure the surprise was ok with me without letting me know what it was. I would recommend Black Tie for everything!!

All said and done, this dj service worked out well. I was a little disappointed in our reception. Though they sound systems for our ceremony and reception sounded professional, I wasn't completely happy w/ the reception. We specifically asked for a version of a song from a specific album for our grand entrance and that wasn't the version that was played so it wasn't as fun as we anticipated. In addition, just the day before the wedding I had asked that they do the couples dance where all the married couples get on the dance floor and gradually couples are asked to leave who haven't been married past 5 years, 10 years, 15 years, etc and then you find out who at your wedding has been married the longest. I realized that hadn't happened too late in he night so I didn't say anything. :( However, possibly my bad for not requesting sooner than the day before. Though I know our dj Michael meant well, he spent more time than we would have liked talking w/ us and some of our guests w/ small talk. At your wedding, you don't want your time monopolized by the dj when you have several guests to entertain. On the flip side, Michael was very personable and easy to work w/. I could tell he gives it his all.

Hi,Our wedding was Friday, October 1, 2010. Our reception was FABULOUS because of the services offered by Black Tie Entertainment. Our DJ was Robert Dilallo, the owner. From the get go when we began planning our wedding with Robert. Robert and his associate Michael came to our reception place, The Resort at Marina Village and walked through the ballroom with my parents, my fiance, and site event director. Both Robert and Michael were able to paint the picture of what our reception would look like with their services. We went with uplighting, music for our cocktail hour, and music for our reception, and the fog machine. The reception ROCKED. There were ALWAYS people on the dance floor. We used the fog machine for our first dance and for the father/bride dance. It was so amazing! People were in awe and really impressed. Robert and his assistant - who's name escapes me - kept the party going. Throughout the entire wedding planning and the night of the reception Robert was always attentative to our needs and concerns. He assisted us in creating and then followed our scheduled time line of events to the T. When we were approaching our final 1/2 hour of the reception he asked me personally if I wanted to continue the music or end the reception at the scheduled time. We HIGHLY and STRONGLY recommend Robert and Black Tie Entertainment for your wedding or any large event. We had so much fun and so did our guests! Josh made our wedding day awesome! He had the music completely under control that I didn't even have to worry about it! The crowd never stopped dancing :) His professionalism was outstanding. I would recommend Black Tie and Josh to anyone getting married. They make it sooooo simple! :)

Black Tie Entertainment did my daughters wedding the beginning of July. Based on the wonderful time we had with Josh, I booked Black Tie for a Surprise 50th Birthday Party for my husband. Mike Cole did an outstanding job of MC'ing our event. He moved everyone to the dance floor after dinner and even came up with great songs for the games, pass the life saver & the limbo. When the celebrating was done, the gifts were open and the evening came to an end, Mike motivated everyone for the clean up. If we should have another gathering that requires a DJ, I'll definitely be looking to Black Tie to handle the music. Thanks for the wonderful memories.

Rob was great! Kevin and I danced all night with friends and family to great music. Rob was professional as well as kept it fun and exciting. We originally had plans with a different dj however we had to make a change at the last minute and Rob was there to help only a couple of weeks before our day. We appreciate all of his hard work and dedication to provide great music for an amazing wedding day. Rob has a great list of songs and makes the night by keeping the guests dancing.

WOW Robert at Blacktie is AMAZING! We live in WA and were planning our FL wedding when a week before our wedding we received a call from our DJ who was having to have emergency surgery and wasn't going to be able to do our wedding. Our DJ had contacted Rob who was luckily more than willing to help us out and what a blessing it turned out to be. Robert made our night spectacular. So many of our guests came up to us telling us how incredible the DJ was and that he made the party. Robert catered to all of our guests and got everyone up and dancing, even my Aunt and Uncle who NEVER dance were dancing away. He is creative and fun and made our reception so exciting. He helped us out so much when we were in a bind and I can't believe we didn't book him in the first place. Robert also set up a sound system to play our ceremony music and it was perfect. We had the great priviledge of having Rob DJ at our wedding last weekend! Being from Ohio it was difficult for me to plan a wedding here in Fort Myers, FL without knowing anyone or having any connections with vendors. When we were "shopping" for DJs around the area, we found Black Tie Entertainment and heard nothing but positive reviews from everyone we talked to about this company. Once we booked Rob for our wedding, other vendors that I had would always ask who my DJ was and once I mentioned Rob from Black Tie Entertainment they always responsed with "he's the best in the area." Well I can tell you first hand Rob is the best in the area & made my wedding day a very memorable one. A DJ can make or break your wedding reception and deterimine if your guests have a good time. From the beginning of introductions to the last dance of the night Rob had our guests up and dancing! I never left the dance floor once! We had a crowd of mixed ages and Rob knew how to create a music selection that could target each one of them. He just didn't stand behind a table and play music he was out on the floor dancing with us and instructing those who may not know how to do a certain dance, while an assistance controlled the music. Its a great set up! I can go on forever describing all the things Rob did to keep our reception a fun time...I have nothing but great things to say about this company. The quality, responsiveness, professionalism, & value of cost was superior! Our guests had a great time & we did as the bride and groom & thank Rob for making it such a memorable night!

Couldn't have asked for a better dj! This is the one vendor that I got the most compliments on. Josh was excellent, very professional! Played everything I wanted and nothing I didn't want!

Our DJ - Robert Dilallo was awesome! Not only did he have us dancing the whole night, but he also kept in close communication with us and our other vendors during the entire evening which made the night flow smoothly and without much stress. We are not much into the organized dances like the electric slide, YMCA, chicken dance, etc. And Robert completely listened to what we wanted and did not want. No organized dances were played and we still danced the whole night (the dance floor was packed)!Also listen to his suggestions. He recommended uplighting, which we did opt for. It was amazing! - Our entire banquet room at Tween Waters in Captiva had aqua/pool blue uplighting which made it look like we were under water (perfect for a beach wedding). Our guests kept commenting on how good the room looked and how perfect of a DJ he was all night.We highly recommend Robert!!!

If you are looking for a professional, articulate in speech and experienced DJ then BlackTie Entertainment is a must. DJ Rusty Roepke was excellent. His choice of songs kept out guest enjoying the evening. Full of variety. Enduring the heat of a hot beach night setting. Blacktie was able to accommodate us on a very short notice and went the extra mile literally to make our wedding fabulous.

Black Tie Entertainment took care of entertainment at a recent celebration of the renewal of our wedding vows.. After the church service guests arrived at the Plantation Golf and Country Club for a cocktail reception, dinner and then entertainment. Brent was our DJ and he did a GREAT job. He was punctual, professional and very attentive to the hosts and guests. He was very engaging with party goers and we (the hosts) received great reviews.. Our daughter, Jodi was the one who hired Michael Cole because she heard so manygood things about him. It all proved to be true!! He was friendly, courteous and very flexible with any and all requests we threw at him. He kept people on the dance floorall night....in fact we had to ask him to play an extra 1/2 hour because our guests were having too much fun! He was also reminding me (the mother of the bride) tohave a good time, relax and to keep smiling! He also told me to give my ear a little tug if the music was too loud and he would turn it down a notch. At one pointI did and he noticed immediately. Right on top of things!! Thank you Michael formaking our daughter's day a PERFECT one!!

Robert from Black Tie Entertainment helped to make our wedding the talk of the town! Everyone was up dancing from the time the music started until the last dance! Robert truly made the night a party for every age. Our night will truly be remembered by everyone thanks to Black Tie!

AMAZING!!! Mike did above and beyond what we expected. Some wedding DJs can be a bit lame and boring but these guys are anything but that!! We only had 70 people at our wedding and they kept EVERYONE dancing until the end of the night. Even a month later all of our guests are still talking about our amazing DJ. They had every song I wanted plus many more that went in line with our tastes. They organized everything in a way that made the night so easy and kept the party going. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!! Don't hesitate, if you need a DJ in the Florida area book Black Tie Entertainment!

Mike was amazing! He worked with us and helped us out even when we didn't know what we wanted. He had so many helpful suggestions that made our day perfect. We didn't have not one complaint. We would definitely recommend Black Tie!

All I can say is Bravo... We used Black Tie and Rusty was our DJ along with his assistant Connie. They both went above and beyond for our Wedding ceremony and reception. I did not have a wedding planner and Connie stepped right in and gave us all cues on what we should do next. It was if the whole day was choreographed. They were so attentive and professional. We called for estimates on other Dj's and to be honest they were not in it for entertaining for the occasion . They were looking at the financial aspect. Our guests were on their feet dancing almost the whole time. They are still talking about the music one week later. The sound system & lighting was state of the art. The only downfall of the day was that it ended and also make sure your DJ is fed we had discussed it with our Vendor and it was overlooked. We hope to use them next year for our one Year anniversary.

When my sister got married we used a lot of the same vendors she used as well. This was one vendor that we had to look for considering the one she had was horrible!!! We got a lot of recommendation for Black Tie from the country clubs we were looking at. Let me tell you I am so glad we listened to them. Black Tie was AMAZING!!!! Robert really made our wedding come a live after dinner. He was right on it with the bridal party names when he did the announcements and great music selection. I would recommend this company to everyone. A friend of Erik and I's that came to our wedding ended up booking Black Tie because they loved them at ours!

Black Tie was great. They were very responsive to our requests and highly professional. All of our guests really enjoyed themself with the music. We would recommand them to anyone looking to service there party. I like the fact they make you fill out a request form with favorite songs along with who's in the party prior to the event. And took time on knowing how to pronounce your name. That's very orginized and again professional. Most DJ get that information a few minutes before the event.

My guest where dancing the entire time and that’s exactly what I wanted for my wedding! I provided a lists of songs for the dj and he was very accommodating and played most of them! I enjoyed my wedding and would use this DJ again in the future!

Robert was amazing; he was very responsive to our requests and highly professional. All of the guests raved about the music at our wedding, and I was told by one of the photographers that he really did a wonderful job of getting everyone out on the dance floor. It is difficult to find a great and inexpensive dj. He is the one!

We found our entire experience with Black Tie Entertainment extremely professional, courteous and customer focused at all times. Michael Cole, in particular, couldn't have done more to ensure that our special day went as smoothly and enjoyable as we could have wished for. He was very knowledgable with regard to music choice and totally unselfish with his time and free advice. Although we were only an intimate group of eighteen, Mike and his team, through their superb library of music, kept us all dancing and laughing all night long! Robert Dilallo with Black Tie Entertainment was outstanding. I found Robert as his name was mentioned repeatedly by multiple vendors. I made it a point to ask about DJ/Entertainment because I felt that this was the one vendor that could affect the outcome of our event. I wanted someone to play the right music, be energetic and get the crowd going. From the first song to the last, our dance floor was packed. Our guests had a wonderful time.I first met Robert (being that we had a destination wedding) about 1- 2 hours prior to the event. He was setting up and well prepared. He made some suggestions about the table set-up, which resulted in us changing the table configuration around. This was not his job, but it made sense and I was grateful. It soon became very clear that Robert knew the ropes and how to run an event. It was great. He tool control, kept things running smoothly, maintained the right cadence and was definitely high energy. Bottom line is that much planning goes into this event. My “now” wife and I were frazzled and you JUST want things to go perfectly. Black Tie Entertainment was very professional and organized. They did our ceremony and reception. The music was exactly as I asked. We wanted a FUN reception that had everyone on the dancefloor. He more than fulfilled that request. He was the best! Well worth the expense! We chose to have extra lighting with made the room look beautiful and it was amazing!

Black Tie Entertainment (Mike Cole) did a phenomenal job for our wedding. The music was great and the accent lighting made the room look amazing. I highly recommend them for weddings and other events. They were very flexible in cost and really worked with me on getting want I wanted and keeping it in the budget.

I have always been extremely wary of using a DJ as I had personally never come across one that I cared for. However, after working a few weddings/events that Black Tie Entertainment played at (I am a photographer), I was extremely impressed with the professionalism, the cleanliness of their set-up, and how they worked uniquely with each customer. After meeting with them for our wedding, I had no doubts about using them and Rusty (our actual DJ) for our wedding. They took the time to work with us to make sure that everything was perfect. We did have a few bumps at the actual reception (wrong daughter/father song played-but was fixed, and a couple of times the music just stopped. I'm not sure what caused the errors, but they were fixed immediately). Our guests had a blast at the reception and they still talk about it. Nothing could have ruined our day and I would certainly recommend using them, and I know that I will certainly use them again should the occasion arise.

Michael Cole with black tie was our wedding dj and did a wonderful job. He had a great song list and really listened to what we wanted. His team did a great job mixing the different genres of music and keeping our guests dancing. Michael even led us in a few line dances when we couldn't remember the steps. We had an awesome reception and many thanks goes to Michael and his team!

We had Black Tie Ent for our wedding in September in Naples. They (Mike Cole) did a wonderful job. All of the songs kept people on the dance floor and they listened to all of our requests. In the months/weeks leading up to the wedding Mike was easily accessible and very promt to return the many phone calls I made to him. I would recommend Black Tie for all occasions, especially weddings!

Although initially the company was a bit stand-offish, closer to the event the company and the DJ himself, Mike Cole, were very attentive to us and our needs. One of the best things that the company utilizes is an online form for the “Must Play” and “Do Not Play” song lists. We found this very convenient because it could be done in our spare time without the inconvenience of setting up a meeting time when you are already booked full of errands to run and other meetings during wedding planning. Black Tie Entertainment did both our ceremony music and our reception music and we were very satisfied with their services. During the reception, they immediately did anything that we or our parents asked of them and they even double-checked to make sure we had food and drinks and when I was tearing up during the Daddy-Daughter Dance they brought me tissues! Also, they let you request what they would be wearing to the event. We were very impressed with the professionalism of the staff.

We used Robert Dilillo for our wedding and he is WONDERFUL!! I have been to several weddings where Robert is the DJ and I seem to be more impressed each time! He has a unique way of getting so many of the guest on the dance floor...sometimes it's difficult for guest to get the courage to dance but we had almost everyone dancing at our wedding! Robert gets out and dances with the croud and they played wonderful music the entire night. Once we started the planning process Robert with Black Tie Ent. was the very first vendor I wanted to book because I knew for a fact I wanted him as the DJ. Michael, also another great DJ, was my contact at Black Tie and he was always available to answer any questions I had and very helpful! There prices were very reasonable, you have to remember your DJ is the one running the reception and you need someone who is going to keep things on track, and Robert is great at it! He is very professional and I highly recommend him, you wont be sorry!! :)

Mike Cole was the DJ for our wedding and we were more than satisfied. Mike was very professional and met with us at length when we were originally looking for a DJ. We were so happy we chose him. We did not give him specific song choices other than our father/daughter and mother/son dances - we just told him the type of music we wanted to hear, and he did a fantastic job. He took care of everything and the flow of the evening was perfect because of him. I did not have to worry about a thing. Our guests were on the dance floor all night and I still hear about what a fun wedding we had. The music made the night and if I ever need a DJ again, I will definitely go with this company.

We cannot say enough positive things about Rob and his crew. They really got the party started! They were very professional, entertaining and super personable. Our guests continue to talk about our reception to this day! In addition to the music, we also decided to get a floor monogram, and they made it happen. It was beautiful! Everyone loved it! Michael Cole was my DJ at our wedding and he kept in touch with me before hand to go over all songs and details of the reception. He was very professional and my husband and I were very pleased with the music at our wedding. Our guests commented on the music saying it was great and we would recommend Black Tie Entertainment to all future brides.

Working with Robert was so amazing! From the initial booking, to helping us select songs to running the reception with perfection, the entire experience was so great! I liked being able to make my "must have" playlist online where I could pick out my song choices. Also helpful was telling Robert which songs not to play! Robert was a total pro. He made us comfortable, ran the show during the reception but made sure that we were happy with how things were going. He did a great job getting everyone dancing and keeping the party going all night! Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

My husband came up with a song list that he wanted at the reception. The dj was most accomodating and played all of the songs. Everyone enjoyed the music and danced all night. They also provided music for the ceremony on the beach and background music during the cocktail hour. Black Tie Entertainment was wonderful.

We were very specific about having a DJ that has a large selection of latin music, in addition to everything else that one would expect of a wedding DJ. This wasn't the case.I provided the DJ with a list of songs for the: Father/Daughter dance, Mother/Son dance, First Dance, Garter/Bouquet, and the Cake Cutting. Twenty minutes before the scheduled dances were to start, the DJ's assistant informed me that they did not have our; first dance song, the father/daughter, OR the mother/son songs!! I was absolutely horrified! They provided me with a list of other songs to choose from, NONE of which I wanted. If it weren't for my MOH being able to download the songs for the DJ, we wouldn't have had the songs we chose to dance to. The assistant was unbelieveably rude, and far from helpful or understanding. When I contacted the owner the following week, he basically told me that there was nothing he could/would do. He told me he would discount my next service...to which I had to explain to him that I wouldn't EVER use his company again.BRIDES BEWARE!!!!!!!

We booked Robert with Black Tie Entertainment, and he was such a blast! He is a true emcee behind the mic, and kept our guests entertained and dancing. He played every song on our list and none of the ones we wanted either (even though he said a few guests requested them). He is a really sweet guy that will keep your party going!

People are still talking about the amazing time they had at my wedding, and it is all due to the awesome time Black Tie Entertainment created!! Robert jump started the wedding with the conga line, and the dance floor didn't empty all night long. Robert is full of energy and interacts with the guest, and simply has a great time. The package we had, included props such as blow up guitars and microphones, glow necklaces, hats, and maracas. I still laugh at all my pictures. People had a great time. He is a great party motivator, and the white glove dance is a classic! I have recommeded him to family and friends, and I have now been to 3 weddings that he has DJ'd. I highly recommend Black Tie Entertainment. You will not be disappointed!!!
