There are so many great things I can say about Dylan Skidmore and Blazin Sounds Entertainment. The website alone speaks for itself from the music to the pictures and options that he provides. I spoke to Dylan 7 months or so before even booking and we would have long talks about music and we both really got to know one another which created an awesome relationship. He was so patient and a very good listener. Soon as I decided to book I had instant VIP access to his web site and got to ton of useful information and we began planning everything from music selection, time line, and options (lighting). The day of was amazing. Perfect timing of music, kept everyone dancing and professional. You want people dancing and great memories for life go with Blazin Sounds. Lastly, get the lighting package.. It will transform and upgrade your pictures 10 fold.

Dylan was absolutely wonderful! My biggest fear as a bride was figuring out how to put on a memorable event when I had never done this before! Dylan helped every step of the way, keeping in touch through e-mail and phone calls, always there to respond to my questions. I am so thankful for his honesty through the process, we would work on suggestions together and he gave his input based on experience (something I didn't have!), described the environment and scene to me so that I could better understand and helped to make the best overall decisions that led to the most fun night of our lives! I had a small number of guests and Dylan kept every one of us on the dance floor ALL night! It's only been three days, but I am STILL getting emails with compliments! Dylan is by far the best DJ in North Carolina and is worth every penny!

Scott and I were so incredibly pleased with your performance at our wedding. You handled yourself so professionally, and you definitely were not like the "stereotypical" DJ. You were so calm and relaxed, and just took over with announcing and guiding us through the evening that we couldn't have been any happier. We did not have a wedding coordinator on site that day, and I had been stressed between pictures and making sure my Dad stayed in line ( he has a tendency to be mischievous). You dressed the part to fit into our wedding theme, and the music was absolutely perfect. You could not have made our experience any more enjoyable. I hope to use your services in the future for possibly a party for our clients in Hendersonville. Some of my clients were at the wedding and raved about the music selections.

I was luck to have Dylan as the DJ at me recent wedding in Asheville, NC. He came recommended from multiple family and friends. My cousin had attended a wedding a few years back and even remembered how good he was- she told me "you have to have him"!

I didn't really think of booking a DJ a lot when I started my planning- I think like most brides I was more focused on the dress and flowers etc. I would advise brides to take their DJ decision seriously though! This is the person running your wedding- they set the tone, and they have a huge part in the feel of the event.

Dylan is very professional and has a real passion for what he does. His passion shines through in what he does, he makes a great effort to see that the event is perfect. I would and have already recommended him to many people!

Dylan is the best you can get. We allowed him almost full freedom to play what he liked and he nailed it. Played to the crowd and at the end of the night noone wanted to leave! He is not only a great DJ but does great lighting ! Thanks man you really made the night !

Dylan's music was great, but his attitude was arrogant and he was very slow to respond when the bride and I would call or email him. His fee was twice as much as every other DJ we contacted, all lof whom said their equipment was excellent. So why did we use Dylan? He was convincing that he was excellent and he lived only an hour and a half away, versus others from furthur away. His timing and song selections were excellent. But he also told me that he wouldn't be using the rented dance floor, that he had his own to set up on. Then after we had paid him (he requires a bank check before he will play), we found out that he called our cateter and asked them to provide separate flooring for him -which we had to rent at almost $500.00. That was an extra expense that we had not been told about and we felt taken advantage of by Dylan.

Dylan Skidmore was absolutely worth his weight in GOLD! He had wonderful ideas that brought the entire event full circle. I appreciated his input and since he does "this" everyday, I knew he knew best! I was was more than willing to take any and all advice and I am so glad I did! He wanted my wedding to be a "PARTY" just as much as I did. We added the extra lights and it was WELL worth the money. The music for the ceremony and reception was perfect, I never left the dance floor!!!

Dylan was such a professional from day one. Our daughter's wedding was a destination for us in Asheville. We did not really know anyone, but did homework on the web and decided to meet with Dylan from reputation and recommendation of our wedding planner. From the moment we met Dylan, we were convinced that he would be an excellent choice and we were not disappointed. My daughter has been a dancer for over 20 years and my new son in law is an excellent ballroom dancer. Music and dance were so important to them. Dylan worked with her to plan the music that she wanted and also the specific tracts for her choreographed numbers. The music mix was great. Everyone danced the night away. Dylan was great at keeping the evening moving and making announcements. In addition to the music, Dylan also did uplighting and accent color lighting throughout the venue. The reception had indoor and outdoor areas. Dylan used the perfect blend of blue and white lighting to accent the beauty of the setting. It was simply an evening we will never forget and Dylan was a major reason our daughter's wedding was such a great success. Would recommend without reservation!!

Dylan was amazing! He was on top of things from the very beginning and made the picking of the DJ process very easy for us. We wanted our wedding reception to go from a sit down dinner to a dance party smoothly and he did just that! It was amazing how he kept every group of people at the reception in tuned to what was happening at that respective time. David and I love a good song and love to dance but have no clue when it comes to music titles, artists, genres, etc. From our first conversation to the last song, Dylan was professional, organized and a blast to work with; so we just left those decisions in his hands. We really enjoyed Dylan's personality from our first meeting with him. He seemed more of an artist and musician vs. an entertainer with an outlandish personality. The groom is a DJ himself, so when Dylan spoke about his experience with his equipment, turntables and sound we knew we should book him for the reception. We were quite lax with Dylan on exactly what we wanted. We told him several styles of music and songs that we do like to hear, he turned such little info into a whole night of great songs that kept the crowd moving! Dylan selected great songs throughout the evening that we really enjoyed, both un and preselected. Our broad age range of guests all seemed to enjoy the music selection. We had asked him to keep the selection current and PG which he managed without anyone realizing each song version was clean. Throughout the months working with Dylan, we noticed that he updated his equipment, which we interpreted as wanting to provide the best quality for his clients. We feel that Dylan is worth the investment and was willing to work within our budget. Dylan also provided lighting inside during dinner, which were 6 uplights in a custom color, amber. The lighting was absolutely gorgeous! The color was neutral, warm and set the perfect ambiance for dinner. The lighting outside was also uplighting into the trees and was a green color then changed to red as the night progressed. The outside space was transformed from a serene ceremony location to an outdoor nightclub for dancing! All of the guests claimed to have a great time and we believe such an awesome DJ greatly contributed! Professional, experienced, flexible, great DJ!! Highly recommended!

Blazin Sounds Entertainment helped make our wedding day truly amazing! One thing that I really liked about Blazin Sounds was that he had a great online planning system to help us plan our wedding songs. This made planning easy for us especially since we had a destination wedding. The DJ was easily accessible through both email and on the phone as well. I had plenty of opportunities to work with him. The quality of his work was outstanding. He had all 75 people up at our wedding dancing. He played songs that accommodated everyone of every age! He made the wedding flow easily from one part to the next (toasts, cake cutting, etc.). I got so many compliments from all of my guests saying that he was one of the best DJ's they have ever heard. Definitely go with Blazin Soungs Entertainment for your wedding!!

Dj Skidmore did an amazing job at the wedding! We had hired him until 11pm, and we had to stop the party b/c of our shuttle drivers, but DJ Skidmore was so good that our guests actually started gathering money to try and keep him for another hour! He really made the wedding a great party for everyone!

We thought that Dylan was amazing. He did a great job of reading the crowd and making sure that everyone had a great time and enjoyed themselves. We told him to play whatever he thought would work and it worked out great, I would reccomend him to anyone I know!!

Dylan is awesome! He worked very closely with us prior to the wedding on making sure we had the music we wanted. I loved that he didn't require us to provide a list of songs (in fact he preferred it!) to play at the reception. Instead he said he would feel out the crowd and play music accordingly. I was a bit nervous about this at first but Dylan went over and beyond what we could have ever expected. Our dance floor was full the entire night and I still get comments about how fun our wedding was. In my opinion, a DJ can make or break a wedding. In this case, Dylan definitely made our wedding. I would HIGHLY recommend him!
