Bliss Bridal Salon

I had a great experience shopping at Bliss! Even on a tight budget, I found about a dozen dresses that I liked and fit the price range I was hoping for. And luckily, one dress stood out from the rest and it's the dress I walked down the aisle in. The salon is very organized and well-run. I greatly appreciated the prompt appointment confirmation email I received. It was direct, to the point, and included everything I needed to know in order to prepare for my appointment. It also assured me that Bliss wanted me to get the most out of my appointment and not have to deal with anything other than what I came in for - to try on dresses. I felt no pressure to buy and was never "up sold." I'd recommend Bliss to other future brides in the DFW area.

Wendy was insightful and attentive to how our bride envisioned her wedding day! She was so helpful selecting gowns and maximizing the appointment. Halfway into the appointment, there is the most perfect gown! Wendy was very helpful and knowledgeable of what type of gown flatters a bride's figure and brings the right touch to set the tone for the wedding day. She offered valuable assistance to our bridesmaids in ordering their dresses...PERFECT in every way.

It was a great experience going to Bliss to try on dresses. You do have to have an appointment which is a little less flexible when planning your day, but that made it so great when I was there. It was never crowded and you have a huge area to yourself. I had plenty of time to try on as many dresses as I wanted. They were also very helpful in giving opinions or ideas as you selected the dress along with accessories. Their selection is incredible and with the service, it's a great place to find THE dress.

Bliss was fantastic! I had gone to a few different stores before so I knew the type of fit that I wanted but hadn't found anything that blew me away yet. I told the sales lady my budget and what I thought I wanted and she started looking through dresses right away. She probably pulled out 7 or 8 that were absolutely stunning. She talked me through each dress, figured out what I liked and didn't like about each one and ultimately helped me pick my dream dress. The neckline wasn't what I wanted but Bliss offers the option to change it! I am tall so I also added 2 extra inches to the dress. I was told the dress would come in 4-5 months but it actually came early (in about 3) which was great because it gave me extra time to alter. Although Bliss doesn't do the alterations in house they have suggestions which worked out for me. All in all, I had a great experience with Bliss and I would recommend them to anyone!

I walked into Bliss not expecting to find my dress but after the 3rd dress I tried on I found my dream dress. Bliss has every dress you could dream of and every dress to fit all personalities. Wendy works very hard to make sure your dress and bridesmaids dresses are absolutely perfect for your special day. Bliss made my dress shopping truly an amazing experience. Because of Bliss I found my perfect photographer and invitation maker.

I purchased my dress a year in advance. Bliss Bridal representative were very helpful and wasn't trying to sell me a dress outside my budget. I purchased a destination wedding dress by Winnie Coutour in which I paid less than $400.00. What deal? I highly recommend Bliss Bridal because they have a wide variety of name brand dresses......

If you are looking for the ultimate wedding dress shopping experience, this is the place to go. You are dedicated to a professional for 2 hours and it's a relaxing and intimate environment. Only 2 brides at a time are allowed in the shop. There are gowns to fit all budgets and the quality of the gowns are amazing! I highly recommend at least booking an appointment with Bliss if not more!

Bliss is a top notch bridal salon. The customer service was perfect down to every detail. The sales consultant was extremely accommodating but not high pressure which I appreciated very much. I would highly recommend this salon to any bride-to-be. You won't be disappointed.

I absolutely loved Bliss!I was sent there by a friend, and have since sent several friends as well. I thought I was going to have a hard time finding a dress because I am pretty particular and hadn't seen many dresses I thought I'd like. Bliss was the first place I went, and I found my dress in an hour.My consultant really listened to me, and kept every dress I tried on within my budget. She pulled dresses that were flattering and gave her honest opinion. It was an experience I will never forget! I looked and felt amazing on my wedding day thanks to the wonderful people at Bliss!

Best bridal shopping experience ever. I went looking for a dress not knowing what I wanted. At Bliss, I encountered friendly, helpful, patient, and honest people. The dress pulling and trying on process is well thought out. When stuck between two dresses, I was given the opportunity to leave for lunch to think about things and then come back. In the end, I left with THE dress and super cute accessories. Bliss carries beautiful jewelry, veils, and hair pieces. I have recommended shopping at Bliss to all of my engaged friends.

Bliss Bridal Salon experience was amazing. This was the first place I looked for a wedding dress, I had never been dress shopping and the experience was everything I was expecting from the once in a lifetime dress shopping adventure. The young lady that helped me, my mom, and sister was very knowledgable of the products, showed me dresses that were only in my budget so I wouldnt fall in love with something I couldnt afford, and she was super friendly. I loved that it was a smaller shop that only helped 2 brides at a time, so it wasnt a hetic atmosphere. The dress I purchased was beautifully made, and I cant wait to show it off on my big day!!!! FABULOUS STORE!!

The thing I loved most about Bliss was the fact they weren't going to just tell you what you wanted to hear to sell a dress. They truly help you find the right dress for you. They don't allow anyone but the bride to go around the store and pick out dresses to try on so you don't waste trying on dresses your mom picks out that you really don't care for. They also skip over dresses out of your budget so you don't fall in love with a dress more expensive then what you were planning on spending. They are very real and helpful and I have recommended them to several of my closest friends.

Everyone at Bliss was so helpful and went over and beyond to make sure that I had the right dress and attire that would compliment my body and budget. The shoes that I wanted were dicontinued from the manufacturer in the color purple that I desired. Wendy made sure that I had a pair specially made for my day. I recommend this shop to all brides looking for a wonderful and unique expercience. I felt like a princess in my dress! Thank You Bliss!

Anyone can get a great review when things go according to plan ... it's when things fall apart that a business is put to the real test, and in our situation, Bliss was an epic fail on all accounts and levels! I wouldn't even buy or recommend anyone buy a hair clip from them after what we went through, which was a complete shock after seeing they received Best of 2009 / 2010 ... they completely choked when it came to working with us to resolve a matter that could have had a completely different outcome, had the owner simply communicated, had a better attitude, and people skills. It was an absolutely pathetic and shocking experience all around. I'll never recommend or set foot in their salon ever again. The owner was not only completely unprofessional when we spoke (trying to correct me and calling me 'sweetie'). She was unwilling to resolve the issue she placed us in, which was one of only two issues we experienced with our entire wedding. The Issue: The matching jacket we ordered through Bliss to wear with my wedding dress which was supposed to arrive at the end of February didn't arrive until 8 days before our wedding and came in 2 sizes too small. Not only did the owner not make an effort to track down another jacket when the one we ordered showed signs of running late, but they went to the length to tell me I was the one being difficult and that it was my fault the jacket was ordered too small?! Bear in mind - the dress and veil we ordered through them arrived in the time told and were beautiful, but the jacket just relieved Bliss Bridal's true colors and caused more stress in the last 3 weeks leading up to the wedding that could have easily been avoided had they done the diligence to: 1) communicate. When the original due date for the jacket came and went, i was the one calling them asking on status. When the second due date came /went, again I had to call and check on status. When the 3rd due date came/went ... I called and had to follow up. And this was after I waited a few days before calling after the had been no attempts made or messages left to contact me or my mother! 2) apologize. Bliss never even hinted a whisper of an apology for putting us through the stress and worry. 3) fix the issue. When the jacket arrived 6 weeks late, not only was the label sewn in upside down, but there was a defect in the material overlay on the right breast side of the jacket. The owner was indignant, but did reduce the price of the jacket by 50% - but wasn't willing to cover alterations. In fact she threatened to keep the jacket and leave us to find another jacket 8 days before my wedding, after we already paid for it! Neither my mother, alterations lady, nor I could believe the owner's behavior. She even went as far as to try an turn the table to say I had an attitude from the moment I came into the salon months back when we came in and spent $1,500+ on a dress, veil, and jacket?!?!Thing was, I had to buy my bridesmaid's dresses through another salon who accidentally mis-measured my bridesmaids and when their tops/jackets came in too small the salon picked up the bill for the alterations on all the tops and jackets. Bliss Bridal did not handle this situation this way - in fact, they blamed me for ordering the jacket too small (which makes sense, doesn't it when you think about it, right? I mean - after all, isn't one of the roles/responsibilities of the bridal salon employee to inform the customer of the difference between street sizes vs bridal sizes and recommend / measure you to ensure the right size is identified when you place the order? Just sayin' ... But I guess it's easier for Bliss to avoid responsibility and deflect the blame on the customer, for their short comings of not following what should be a standard protocol when it comes to placing a bridal ordering, but what would I know? In the end, I took the jacket to the alterations woman who handled my bridesmaid's tops/jackets, spent another $70 and she was a miracle-worker! Some how she managed to make a size 12 out of a size 8 with less than a .25" seam allowance!! We are still scratching our heads on how she pulled it off just a few days out from the wedding!Anyway, if you're the type of person who doesn't normally experience issues when it comes to buying clothes then Bliss if for you, but God forbid you run into a problem and the item you order runs late and/or doesn't come in - or comes in smaller than expected ... If/when it does - good luck w/ working w/ Bliss Bridal. Don't expect them to go out of their way or try and work with you, or even offer an apology - let alone call you.Worst experience with a bridal salon - bar none!

I would highly recommend Bliss Bridal salon if you are looking for a reasonably priced wedding gown in the Metroplex. I live in Dallas and looked in Dallas area; however, Bliss seemed to have exactly what I was looking for. The store manager, Wendy was so helpful and accomodating and handled everything so professionally. I can't say enough good things about Bliss!

If you are tall, short, round, square, large, or small, Bliss is the place for you. Wendy is sensitive to every need, every personality, every style. You will not find a better dress shopping experience in DFW. Especially for the plus-size bride, this is THE ONLY place to spend time and energy...you will not be disappointed. It is an easygoing, pleasant experience instead of an impersonal warehouse where you are herded around in a sea of wrinkled, plastic-covered dresses. Go see Wendy, relax, and enjoy the process of finding your dream dress!

Girls,you have to check this store out!It has very unique dresses that you won't find at any other store!Once you walk in, they happily greet you and have you go through their entire row of dresses and you choose and pick what you like!Michelle is an awesome lady who doesn't pressure you into buying anything unless you are in love with it!It's a small store, but with a great service!I'm going back to the Bliss for my anniversay dress!wink....=0)

Bliss was the first and only salon that I went to when I was looking for my dress. The wonderful people there took my idea of the perfect dress and made it happen. It was the second dress I tried on! Wendy and her team played a huge role in making my wedding the most perfect day!! Thanks girls!!

They ladies at Bliss Bridal really make you feel special and attended to during the entire process. They don't just sell you an expensive gown then forget about you. I moved out of state after ordering my dress and even though there were numerous delays with manufacturer in getting my dress to the shop, they handled it like champs. One of the girls had her husband personally drive to the manufacturer over an hour away and pick-up the dress so that they could overnight it to me for alterations. They just don't miss a beat. And if great service isn't all that's important to you, don't let it overshadow that fact that they have an amazing selection of designer dresses in all price ranges. Ladies even on the tightest of budgets can go to bliss bridal and feel like princesses. They really do a great job.

Shopping at Bliss was the best choice I made when it came to planning my wedding. After finding "THE DRESS" she opened on a Sunday afternoon so my Dad could come and give his blessing. I also bought my Veil and Headband for Bliss. When I fell in love with onther headband but it didnt match my dress Wendy said we could do this and it would still be similar to the one you love. I agreed and LOVED it when I got it in. I have a one of a kind wedding headband that no one eles had when I got married. (I still wear it every now and then) I wouldnt have bought my dress anywhere else after going to Bliss.

Being a larger girl and having visited several other bridal salons, I had resigned myself to the idea that I was only meant to find a good enough dress and not a great dress. Nothing I had tried on had given me the “wow” moment and I had decided that moment was probably invented by the wedding industry to sell more dresses…then I had an appointment at Bliss. Walking into Bliss was like walking into a spa. No harsh lighting or tacky “bridal” décor to be found. Wendy and her staff were welcoming as they talked to me about a price point and showed me all of the dresses in that range. I gave a yes or no vote for trying each dress on and headed to the dressing room. After all the searching it was such a great feeling to try on a high quality dress in a size I could actually wear. Much to my surprise, the last dress I tried on gave me the “wow” moment. Unlike most bridal stores, when I expressed my feelings to Wendy, she did not start pressuring the sale. Instead I showed my family and was able to enjoy the moment of finding the dress. It should also be mentioned that Bliss has a great selection of bridesmaid dresses that don’t look like standard bridal store-ugly stepsister fare. My MOH tried on dresses as well, and we were able to find a dress we both loved. I recommend Bliss to everyone; brides of all sizes and for bridesmaids too!

They were so sweet to me when I unfortunately got sick during my first fitting and had to postpone my appointment. I am so grateful to Bliss for helping me to find "my dress" for the day I married the man of my dreams. The staff is professional and considerate to the needs of the modern bride. They are willing to be patient (I never felt pressured to buy), but instead were very helpful in narrowing down the choices to what I liked and would be best for my destination-island wedding. They are also accommodating with a working girl's schedule for appointments. It was exactly as they say, when you put on "your" dress you know it. The moment in every girls life that they dream about...other than actually standing at the altar and saying "I do"...is to be standing in a bridal boutique, in front of a 3-way mirror, twirling with the other "ONE"...THE dress. Wendy and her talented staff make this other vision a perfectly wonderful reality. They take the time beforehand to get an idea of the brides yays and nays and make the most of your time in the boutique. While Bliss was the only boutique on my list to visit I can't imagine going anywhere else! My Bliss experience was blissful! My thanks to Wendy and her staff for my other "ONE"!

I bought my dress from Bliss Bridal and had a great experience. It is a beautiful shop and had a designer (Winnie Couture) that no one else in the areae carried. Wendy created a special day when dress shopping and the fact that she only takes appointments makes the experience more special. We were the only ones in the shop and I was able to have all of her attention.

I LOVE BLISS! Wendy is absolutely amazing. At first I was nervous to even go to Bliss because I knew for sure they were going to be out of my budget. My wedding planner urged me to make an appointment and I'm soooo glad I did. The first thing Wendy did when we got there was ask my budget and as we were going through the dresses (together) she made sure let me know which dresses were out of my budget, so I wouldn't try one on and fall in love with it but not be able to afford it. I was the only bride in the store, so I had her full attention. The store isn't massive, so each sales person has an extensive knowledge of their stock and can is able to help you in every way. They don't do their own tailoring, so they're not going to tell you you need a bigger size gown just to get more money out of you. I also bought my veil, a flower for my hair, and my necklace from Bliss. There is not a bad thing to say about them. That same day I went to another local bridal salon to look at their dresses and had a horrible experience where I wasn't helped, was left to scour the dress racks alone, didn't have professional help to try on any of the dresses, and couldn't even find mirror space to look at the dresses because there were so many other girls. Bliss is the place to go! Don't be put off by the size or the need to make an appointment, it makes it all the better!!

I had visited I don't know how many bridal shops trying on countless dresses. I visted Bridal Bliss once and found the dress of my dreams. The staff is super friendly and I couldn't ask for better. I highly recommend them.

I will always recommend Bliss to any of my friends who are looking for a wedding dress. The service was exceptional throughout the entire process of trying on dresses, ordering a dress, ordering accessories, and then picking everything up. Wendy knows the business like no one else. You will not get as much one-on-one attention anywhere else. I still stayed well within my budget limit, too!

I live in Chicago and was home in Fort Worth for the holidays. My mom and I stopped by Bliss to see what they had. They had a Sara Grace feather flower hairpiece that I had loved when I saw it in a boutique in Chicago. It was a lot cheaper at Bliss so we placed our order. It took a while for it to come in, but since I like to do things way early, it was no problem. Plan on 4-6 weeks. It was beautiful!

Really friendly staff, spent as much time with me as I needed. I found the perfect dress and instead of selling it to me right away they encouraged me to wait as it would be discounted at a trunk sale a few weeks later.

Bliss did an exceptional job with my wedding dress and my bridesmaid dresses!!! Everything came in when it was expected and everything was correct. I had a great experience trying on dresses as well. Wendy was amazing. Here's my story: I'm the idiot who waited till 3 months before my wedding to order my dress... but she worked with me and got the dress in on time (5 or 6 days to spare I think). I got the dress altered but had to have certain parts realtered cause they misunderstood me... so that puts my dress at being ready the saturday afternoon before my wedding which happened to be after all businesses had closed. I couldn't find a cleaners that was open or that would clean/press it in such a short amount of time, so cursing the city of fort worth, I called Wendy in desperation. She was about to close but stayed late and pressed my dress for me to be ready for pickup the day before my wedding. How amazing is she!?!?!? I'm sorry I didn't leave this review earlier Wendy ;) You'll love her. Ignore the area its in. They're doing some construction so the actual store is a little hard to find and not so appealing from the outside, but I assure you Wendy is awesome.

I feel so blessed to have found Bridal Bliss! Wendy is fabulous and very helpful. She went above and beyond in service, advice, and had great referrals. She even helped with a last minute alteration issue for my dress (which was from another boutique). Bliss was very flexible with all of my girls. I had a bridesmaids of all shapes, sizes & in different cities/countries. Bliss worked with all of them as far as ordering the correct dress sizes, making payments, and coordinating the pick ups. I was very impressed with the boutique!

The people at Bliss were great. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
