Laurel was one of my favorite vendors, hands down. Initially I was a little put-off due to the wait to meet with her, but that's because I didn't understand her scheduling or the demand for her services. The minute I met her I knew we were with the right person and she was well worth the wait.She is full of fresh, creative ideas and knew exactly how to accent the flowers I selected. I wanted everything to be in shades of white/cream with my odd request of blue thistle. She made it look far more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. The best thing I did was take Laurel's advice on decor. She looked at our venue and suggested a patterned table runner I wouldn't have thought to use otherwise. It really tied things together. The first thing I said when I saw a few post wedding pictures was, "Wow, our flowers were great and she really nailed it with those runners!"I would recommend Laurel to anyone. She really is a joy!

Laurel of Bloom Floral Event and Design was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! I knew very little about flowers going into our first consultation meeting for our wedding and her laid back attitude and expertise made the whole process very easy and fun. The flowers turned out beautiful! On the big day, Laurel provided not only our gorgeous flowers, but also stayed with me right up until the moment I walked down the aisle. I highly recommend her for your wedding or any other event you are in need of amazing floral designs. :)

Laurel was absolutely wonderful to work with. I was a bride that simply knew I wanted a rich, rustic feel to my flowers and my fiancé wanted "red.". From only those two descriptions, Laurel created centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnières that were all more than I could imagine. Laurel invited me into her home to share the entire process of creating centerpieces and walked through every flower that I picked out! Unlike other florists, or "bigger" chains, Laurel allowed me to pick out each and every flower and gave advice along the way (especially when it came to picking out flowers that gave us more bang for our buck!!). She was extremely flexible, and really made sure we got our money worth!! One thing that really stands out about working with Laurel was her honesty to "undersell" us on a lot of aspects (i.e., flower girl bouquets, ring bearer boutonnieres, and pew flowers (because our church was quite large!) You will not find a more personal and trustworthy florist; we were lucky to work with great vendors that we trusted would do their best work all in honor of our big event and Laurel did just that!! She arrived early to our ceremony to pin on boutonnières (you will appreciate this once you realize how hard that really is to do!!), stayed until I walked down the aisle to make sure everything looked okay, and set up our reception site with some of the most beautiful centerpieces, and came back to collect all the vases, etc. the following day.

Laurel was a fantastic florists throughout the wedding planning process, and especially on the big day. She is creative, uses local flowers when available, and will help in anyway she can. Our wedding flowers were absolutely beautiful and I thank her for being a calm presence on our big day! I would highly recommend Laurel.

Bloom Floral & Event Design is the ONLY florist I would recommend in the Milwaukee area!! When it comes to flowers, they're all pretty...but when it comes to Florists, Laurel stands out. She's more than a florist, she's an artist. She captured my "wedding style" better than anyone else I met with, and created breathtaking bouquets and centerpieces. My wedding guests were admiring the flower arrangements the instant they walked in the door, and one of my guests booked her a few days later for her own wedding! I know many brides feel like they can't afford "quality", so they settle for less. I was one of them. But as a self-employed graduate student, I was pleased with how enthusiastically and comfortably Laurel worked within my budget.

Laurel Flannery is not only very professional, but also very competitively priced for the services provided :) I would say we actually received more in service and product than what we were actually charged for! If there were any questions, she would have a response back within a few hours. If adjustments needed to be made, she was very accomodating! She is 120% on top of her game and has great artistic ideas for her products and can provide different options that might not have been thought of previously. She can also recommend a great floral idea for people on a budget. I would highly recommend Laurel and her business, Bloom!

I was married Aug. 7th and Laurel did all the bouquets and family/wedding party boutineers. I am a picky person for sure, but Laurel's work really impressed me. It was exactly what I wanted and right within my budget. I was 110% plus satisfied with Bloom/Laurel and would strongly urge anyone who needs a high quality, honest, reliable florist to not look any further and book Laurel! It can be really challenging to find a florist that you can trust to not rip you off, listen to you and do what you want (...not try to just sell you more) and work to accomplish what you want within your budget. I still stare starry eyed at pictures of my bridal bouquette! Perfect, lovely, beautiful!!!!

Laurel was amazing to work with from start to finish. I planned my wedding from California so I was never able to meet with her until I got my flowers, but there was no need. She asked all the right questions to get me the perfect flowers at the perfect price! I would recommend her to anyone who wants beautiful flowers for their special day!

Laurel was SO easy to work with. From the ease of consultation that did not feel rushed to making flower designs just for us. She had great ideas and was able to bring the venue together for us. She believes in using flowers from the local area which I totally love. I have recommended her to many friends and they have also loved working with her. Laurel was absolutely amazing! I had an idea of how I wanted my flowers to feel but had no specific flowers or colors in mind. Laurel did a great job feeling us out and talking with us and she came up with absolutely gorgeous centerpieces and bouquets. My husband and I collected vintage planters to be used and Laurel made each one different while still maintaining a gorgeous cohesiveness. It was definitely important to me to use local and in season items and that is what Laurel specializes in so that is really great too for "green" brides. We were also blown away with the quality of our arrangements considering Laurel's low pricing! You can't go wrong with laurel : )

Absolutely AMAZING! Laurel really understood our vision and style. She incorporated everything we asked for and more! When our wedding day came, the arrangements were absolutely perfect. She even waited with me right before I walked down the aisle so I wouldn't have to stand there by myself! She truly went above and beyond our expectations.

Laurel was wonderful! From our first meeting talking about budget and concept all the way through the final delivery of flowers the day of the wedding she was top notch! She is a talented designer and made some amazing recommendations to really make the flowers standout. She doesn't have a lot of overhead to support in her business and she passes this right along to the customer. Her prices were better than any floral shop I could find and were comparable to other florists who work out of their homes. However, she has a wide assortment of vases and accessories that she included in the package at NO EXTRA CHARGE! It was wonderful and saved me hundreds of dollars in the end if I would have needed to rent them. Her day of service is exceptional! She dropped off my girl's flowers at my hotel room where we were getting ready, pinned the guys flowers on them and then went to the hall to get everything setup up. I could not have asked for a better florist! I will be using her in the future anytime I need flowers!

Laurel is great to work with, has lots of ideas and really listens to what you want. She offers great prices that can't be beat anywhere else and she delivers great flowers.

Bloom floral was extremely responsive to any questions that I had. I had some challenging requests and I feel like every component that I asked for and my personality were reflected in her designs. She really listened to my conceptual ideas asking questions when she needed a higher level of detail. I was provided with simple and elegant decor that contributed to the ambiance and was not distracting or over the top in any way, which is exactly what I wanted.

What more could a couple ask for!Typically the floral process is the brides doing and the groom just sits there. Each decision I made you made the groom feel like he could give his opinion too. Laural did a fantastic job. Because Laural worked with a friend of mine, I felt comfortable letting her do what she does best and I trusted that the flowers would come out amazing. She lived up to my expectations. I told her to pick the best of the local flowers that were in season and she picked things that I never would have thought of (like basal). She also went out of her way to cut wine bottles that we recycled into flower vases and she decorated the arbor with the hops from her back yard. My wedding turned out beautiful!!

WOW-Laurel from Bloom Floral is absolutely phonemenal! I was SO happy with how our flowers and centerpieces turned out. Laurel created exactly what I asked for. We got A LOT of compliments on the flowers. Laurel even created birch covered vases for us which was exactly what I was looking for. She also used hops out of her garden as our reception was held at a brewery! :) The cost was SO reasonable, I would recommend her in a heartbeat! I loved my wedding bouquet so much I even brought it with us on our honeymoon so I could enjoy it as long as possible. It was perfect! I am thrilled that we went with Bloom Floral for our wedding!

I really enjoyed working with Laurel! She was always super friendly and bubbly :) She gave us excellent value within our meager budget. She is amazingly creative; the flowers were more beautiful than I had imagined. She did not charge me for any of the following items which were all lent to me for our wedding: vases, votives, candles, a tree centerpiece, and 15 green table runners (which added a perfect pop of color and elegance that made our event perfect). * I would suggest anyone to use her as a florist, she is great!

I LOVED everything! you took the few ideas I had and made them beautiful! Looking back, I think it may have been worth the money to just buy the vases. It was kind of a hassel to get everything returned before my honeymoon. Other people I have talked to have thought the same thing. Maybe for future brides there could be the option to buy to prevent the stress at the end of the night...But for the flowers and arrangements, everything was AMAZING! with the couple meetings we had I was confident that everything would be great, and you did not disapoint!

Our flowers were perfect! The prices are very reasonable! She takes the time to work with you to find flowers that fit into your budget - she is not afraid to give options of flowers that are beautiful, but less expensive!

I cannot possibly say enough good things about my experience with Laurel. I am very environmentally minded, and Laurel did not compromise on anything for me. She listened to everything very carefully, and the final result was a unique, elegant, and responsible event that looked far more expensive than it actually was. If I could give more than five stars I would.

Laurel was FABULOUS I was so pleased with all the flowers and centerpices for my July summer wedding. She is so unique because she recommends flowers that are locally grown and in season in Wisconsin instead of getting them shipped in. I was not a very picky bride, but in that respect I didn't know exactly what I wanted. She worked very patiently with me to develop the natural but fun and playful look I was going for. She is also willing to do any flower you want, not just locally grown. Not only is she a flower expert, but an overall decor expert. She just knows what works best, and I kind of told her what I wanted and she totally delivered!! Laurel is also very conscious of the brides budget and ddoesn't add on any hidden costs. WOBDERFUL LADY & GREAT AT WHAT SHE DOES!! :)

Laurel is a wonderful florist and we could not have been happier with the way our flowers turned out! Even in 85 degree sun/heat, our flowers looked fresh and perfect the entire night. She has excellent knowledge, is very professional and has a true passion for flowers!

Laurel is an AMAZING florist. I didn't know what kinds of flowers I wanted to have in my wedding. Laurel was able to take my personality and weave a beautiful bouquet of flowers! Going through a flower book with Laurel helps as well. She has a creative eye that really catches beauty and the kind of simplicity I desired. I was set on a centerpiece design that was quoted to me as $150 per centerpiece through a number of florists. Laurel Flannery who owns Bloom Floral quoted me $50 each. She was awesome to work with through the entire process. We planned through email correspondence, and she always got back to me right away. She didn't charge me to use any of her candleholders, vases, or ceremony stands. I was blown away by every single piece she made- the bouquets were gorgeous, the ceremony pieces were AMAZING, the centerpieces were even better than what I imagined.

Bloom provided exactly what I wanted for my wedding day - beautiful locally grown flowers. The value was great, and Laurel and her staff were very helpful day of ceremony. They even helped set-up additional accessories and made two extra bouquets with extra flowers I had bought for my hair for a last minute additional table.

It was a pleasure working with Laurel. I really had know idea what arrangements I wanted to go with for our wedding, but she gave us wonderful ideas. All of the arrangements that she put together went above and beyond our expectations. We received several compliments about our floral arrangements. I'm a DJ - what do I know about flowers, huh? Good question, but I know about people and Laurel is just a pleasure to work with on those occasions I've been lucky enough to do events with her. She really seems to get to know what her clients are after, and the gasps I hear when people see the rooms she helps create, let me know she does it right every time!
