I was so impressed with Blossoms Special Events! My flowers were beautiful and the staff was so easy to get along with. Gayle had a great idea of my vision and executed it well. Everything was perfect!

Gayle is amazing and such a pleasure to work with! We booked with her last minute and she definitely made us feel very relaxed. All of our bouquets were absolutely stunning and all of the arrangements and centerpieces turned out better than we expected! We would definitely recommend her to any engaged couple looking for floral!

Prior to my wedding I knew nothing about flowers. Gayle helped me by showing me different options and colors. Gayle was understanding to my budget and price range and was always available if I needed to make a change or ask a question. Gayle was amazing! The flowers turned out beautiful, she gave me plenty of options to fit our wedding budget. She was professional, yet personal, one of the nicest and genuine vendors I have met. The week before the wedding, they happened to have a shortage on the light pink flowers, she called to confirm to make sure it was ok to blend the light pink and medium pink, they turned out beautiful, however I truly appreciated the phone call. She delivered the flowers right on time, and was very accommodating.

Working with Gayle was easy and straightforward. All of her designs are exactly what I loved, and everything that came to be at my wedding was much more beautiful than I could have imagined!

Gayle did our flowers for us when we got married July 2nd 2011 at Emerald at Queensridge in Las Vegas.She was amazing. She is such a sweet lady. We got to meet with her on two seperate occasions and talked to her on the phone many times. She was so helpful with ideas and suggestions.We had a certain amount of money set aside for flowers and Gayle found the most beautiful ideas that were right in our range.Also, we had to add two tables the week of the wedding and she had no problem helping us out with those extra center pieces. I called and asked and she said, "no problem, I can do it!"We highly reccomend Gayle to anyone looking for great service and beautiful flowers.

I only had flowers for my bridal party, the parents, and grandparents. They were all very beautiful and fresh the day of the wedding. She had them delivered about 3 hours before the event so the photographers had plenty of time to photograph the flowers and me and the bridal party with them. Gayle was wonderful from the first time I spoke with her and provided me a discount better than what my venue asked her to provide. She always threw in a few extras for me. I never felt like she was trying to nickle and dime me for every little thing along the way. She was very easy to reach and I never had any problems. I would highly recommend to anyone. I knew Gayle was going to be my florist from the moment I met her. She has to be one of the sweetest and most friendly people I have ever been blessed to meet. I didn't know anything about flowers except that they are beautiful, and Gayle made me feel like I was an expert. We loved Blossoms by Gayle as our floral vendor. Gayle was so professional, she always responded to emails and phone calls in a very timely fashion, and most importantly the flowers for our ceremony and reception were beautiful. I have nothing but good things to say about working with Gayle and the flowers that resulted. I requested quotes from several florists in the months leading up to my wedding and depended solely on reviews and process of elimination based on who called me back to make my decision. Gayle's reviews are impeccable and she is the only one to respond to my inquiry. Speaking with her, I felt at ease that she would not allow my wedding to look like the Easter Bunny's Tea Party although I did tell her I wanted flowers everywhere and that I wanted them all in spring colors (but not pastels). I picked flowers I liked and Gayle suggested more to add in. The flowers were breathtaking. Even in my wildest dreams I could not have imagined they would be as beautiful as they were. My only regret is that I lived across the country and could not return home with them. I will always remember fondly working with Gayle and the flowers she so beautifully put together for me. She was kind, helpful, responsive, and considerate of every random silly need or want I came up with while planning the wedding.

Gayle is a top-notch florist. She is professional and a very responsive florist. If I had any changes to make, Gayle was very accomodating to me. The flowers that I chose for my wedding were roses and hydrangeas. Gayle did such a wonderful job on my bridal bouquet and the wedding party flowers. Her work is exceptional. Gayle is amazing. Period. She's extremely personable and flexible. You can tell from Day One that she is there for YOU and to make YOU happy. You only have to tell her what you want, and she goes on a mission to make sure you get exactly what you want. She knew how important tulips were to me, and she understood my budget...and found a way for me to include them in my special day. For my wedding, Gayle called me a few days before to tell me that one type of flower she ordered was not the quality she expected...she wanted better for me and for my wedding. So we worked out something else to replace the flowers that weren't up to snuff, and it turned out BEAUTIFUL. It obvious Gayle knows what she's doing, and how to get it done. She makes you feel confident in your decisions and stays very calm, cool, and collected if something goes awry. She has amazing ideas, and is completely understanding if you turn them down or have your own ideas. I couldn't have asked for better sevice, seriously. Go Gayle or Go Home!! :D

The flowers at my wedding were one of the most important pieces of the entire day. Initially I was nervous meeting with Gayle as my husband and I had met previously with another company and had a horrible experience. However, working with Gayle was an absolute pleasure from beginning to end. Gayle met with us and listened intently to our ideas, must-haves and budget and she added her expert touch and knowledge (i.e. suggesting different finishing touches, letting us know the pros and cons of different flowers, etc.). Come the day of our wedding, I knew I had nothing to worry about. And I was right – the flowers were beautiful! I can't say enough about Gayle. As a budget conscience bride, I was very nervous when I started emailing florists and was receiving quotes two to three times my budget. When I submitted to Gayle via email, she was half the price of everyone else and also followed up with a phone call to make sure she answered all of my questions and tell me how much she would love to work with me.Throughout the process she always was prompt in answering my questions and had great ideas. She remained flexible even as I changed my wedding colors 3 times. The day of, she was on time and the flowers were more beautiful than I could ever have hoped for. My bouquet was one of my favorite decorations of the day and the arrangement she did for over the altar was stunning. Plus, because she wanted to make sure we got our moneys worth, instead of wasting the extra orchids she had to order to make the groomsmen boutinners, she took the petals and laid them around our photo/guestbook table. My husband has told me on NUMEROUS occassions that the table was his favorite part of the decor and the orchids are the best part of it.I would HIGHLY recommend Gayle. She's friendly, easy to work with, and ver reliable on what can be a chaotic day. 5 stars!!

I recently used blossoms by gayle for my wedding. I could not have asked for more for my wedding flowers. They were absolutely beautiful and looked exactly like the pictures I had showed her. Gayle is amazing. I could not explain how perfect our flowers were and how professional, friendly and helpful she was. I went in with all sorts of ideas and we went through every possibility and in the end gayle was so patient and we finally landed on something she let me put my twists on in and didnt try to change my ideas like most people did, her flowers were our only accent color for our classical wedding and they could not have put our wedding together any better. She made everything beyond what we expected and the price was phenomenal for teh beyond fantastic flowers we got. We will definitely use Blossoms for any other floral needs. Shes the BEST.

I can not say enough great things about Gayle. The flowers in our wedding added so much to our special day. When we met with Gayle we had decided on Black and Teal and White as our wedding colors and I was really struggling with the colors we would use for our flowers. Gayle had so many ideas and because it was a Spring wedding we decided to just go with some really bright, fun colors. It turned out perfect! I can not even tell you how many compliments I have had on the bouquets and all of the flowers. From the beginning I was so impressed with Gayle' honesty and knowledge of the floral industry. She helped us to make choices that fit within our budget and offered suggestions for alternatives for centerpiece ideas and flowers at the church. Throughout the planning process I did make a few changes to the centerpiece's and the church flowers and Gayle so extremely responsive and willing to help me along the way. I was extremely satisfied by my experience of working with Gayle Logan for my wedding flowers. With a recommendation from my reception site (Revere Golf Club), I viewed Gayle's website and all of her pictures and sent her a request. Because I lived in Missouri, all I had were phone conversations and emails with Gayle until I could see her in person a few months out. Gayle is highly responsive, in tune with her customers' needs and offers detailed information about what she does. Most of all, her work is beautiful! My bouquet was fresh and colorful and all of the centerpieces and arrangements were professionally done and tasteful. All I had was a color scheme and barebone ideas and she educated me on what we could do. I was really encouraged by how forthcoming she was with information which helped me not to worry about her customer service. Gayle is a genuine, caring person and it translates into the high quality of her work. She is the best florist to work with if you are lucky! And I was!

Gayle was really great for our wedding. Last minute she told me that one of the flowers I had picked was going to be unavailable and she helped me pick new flowers and figure out a way ahead. In the end, she found one bunch of those I wanted and was able to add them in and everything turned out just beautiful. Gayle also did flowers for my brother's wedding, which had a completely differently arrangement, and their flowers were also wonderful.

Gayle is so fantastic. I saw her work from a handful of brides that I knew and I was positive that I had to have her for my own wedding. Gayle did all of the bridal party flowers...my bouquet, my bridesmaids bouquets, boutineers for the groomsmen and corsages for family and she did not disappoint. My favorite part about Gayle was that she was always friendly, always reachable, and always nice. I always felt like a priority, even though my order was small compared to others. I was planning a Vegas wedding from Chicago and did not have a clear vision of what I really wanted, but Gayle gave me some great ideas and everything came together beautifully. She arrived the morning of the wedding early to set up the center pieces, decorate the ceremony site, and delivered the bouquets to the bridal suite herself. She even tipped the bellboy for us! The flowers were beautiful, my only regret was not being able to take them all with us because we had to fly back to the East coast. My suitcase was just not big enough.. But I will have my beautiful bridal bouquet forever, and colorful pictures with the amazing flowers. And one last thing, not only is Gayle a great person and florist, her prices cannot be beat. From our first meeting, she was friendly and helpful and very detailed about her flowers, she made me feel at ease because I went to her without knowing 100% what I wanted. Gayle with Blossoms was my florist for my October 17th wedding in Las Vegas, and the flowers were ABSOLUTE STUNNING. We received compliments throughout the reception on how beautiful everything was, and many of our guests mentioned that our flowers were the most beautiful wedding flowers they had ever seen! My husband and I live in Illinois and we knew planning a wedding from so far away would be very difficult, but Gayle made is very easy. We changed our order probably 20 times (not joking), and Gayle was always happy to make adjustments for us. She worked within our budget and always offered a variety of differently priced options. She'll do anything you want, and no matter the budget, it will be beautiful! Another benefit to using Blossoms was that Gayle knew all of our other vendors (cake, wedding coordinator, Reverend, dj, etc.), so she worked with them directly rather than having to go through us. We also heard from all of our vendors that Gayle is their favorite florist in the Vegas area, and after seeing her work at our wedding, I can see why! I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!

Blossoms did an unbelievable job with all of the flowers for our wedding! The flowers were everything I ever dreamed it would be and more. Each flower was so fresh and crisp...I received SO many compliments about them! Gayle was a HUGE part in making Raven and my wedding to be the greatest day ever. From the first day Raven and I met Gayle, we immediately connected and it even felt like she had been a friend of ours forever. Gayle was honest, professional, and extremely knowledgeable with flowers, to include the types for the fall season, which would look great together, etc. At times during our meetings with Gayle, we got side tracked and talked about many things other than flowers. This was due to Gayle's nice and warm personality. As a guy, we think, who cares about flowers, that is the brides specialty. Well I'm here to tell you, as soon as I walked into the reception hall prior to the ceremony, I was amazed and when I saw the girls walking down the isle with their bouquets, I couldn't believe how beautiful and colorful they were. Raven's bouquet was absolutely gorgeous just as she was! All of our guests complimented the floral arrangements and bouquets many times throughout the evening. I was refered to Blossoms by a friend who also had Gayle do her flowers for her wedding. She originally told me to just meet with her. Even if I didn't like her work (which she insisted I would) she said her personality and professionalism would win me over for sure. Boy was she right! From the very first phone call, Gayle made me feel like I'd known her for years. She was easy to talk with, easy to work with and udnerstood that times are tough and I had a budget I wasn't willing to go over. She showed me options, and there were so many. She helped me pick out my flowers when I had no idea what I was doing, with out taking advantage of my volnerability. And what was really great was that a month later at my friends wedding, she remembered me by name and asked all about my wedding and made sure I was still happy with what she had provided for me. Gayle is amazing! She created exactly what I wanted and it looked even better than I had imagined! My flowers were the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen!! Gayle did an amazing job on my wedding flowers at the Paiute!!! I didn't have much of an idea of the flowers I wanted. I showed Gayle one picture and she was able to see my vision and made everything look BEAUTIFUL!! It was everything I had expected and more!! I wanted to incorporate my something old into the flowers and Gayle suggested I find an old pin from my Grandmother to pin onto my bouquet. It was perfect and my grandma loved it! Thank You Gayle!!

I booked my wedding with Gayle a year before my wedding and after going to 3 different other florists that I was not impressed with. Within 5 minutes of meeting Gayle I knew I wanted her as my florist! She runs her small business out of her home where she makes you feel so welcome. She doesn't treat you like another client just pencilled in her books, she really does make an effort to get to know you and what you want and work with you to make your dreams/ideas come alive! I showed Gayle a picture of a centerpiece that I wanted and even though she had not done something like this before she created them & did so even better than the picture I had. My wedding constisted of all gerbera daisies and Gayle really made it look beautiful. I did not get the chance to see all the flowers out before my wedding so when I walked down the aisle it was the first time I got to see the final product Gayle had created, and it was breathtaking!! I highly recommend anyone getting married in the las vegas or henderson area to give Gayle a call, she is fantastic, you will love her!!! Thanks Gayle!

I booked my Wedding at the Terrace in Henderson, and part of the package I purchased included certain flowers provided by Blossoms by Gayle. As I already had my bouquets and boutinieres selected, Gayle offered to provide flowers for my cake. Typically the package would include roses, but as I had a very specific theme in mind, Gayle graciously offered to provide flowers for my cake that matched my theme. We discussed the flowers I wanted used, and Gayle was very helpful and offered advise on which type of flowers would work best. On the day of my wedding, when I laid eyes on my cake, I was blown away! It was one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen! It PERFECTLY complimented my decor, and the flowers were so beautiful, I didn't want to cut the cake! I am so grateful to Gayle for making my cake such a lovely accent to the best day of my life!! We went to Gayle with only an image in our minds of what we wanted our flowers to look like and Gayle brought it to life! She was fantastic in both helping us with our selections; what flowers and colors look good together, etc. and in bringing it all together. The wedding was beautiful, thank you Gayle!

I can't say enough positive things about this florist. I was very picky about my flowers and designed my entire wedding around them and they did not disappoint. Not only did they smell amazing but they looked so BEAUTIFUL the day of and in photos. Gayle is so sweet and she really cares about her job and your wedding. I still get compliments on the stargazer lillies and cymbidium orchids. My maid of honor has already booked her for her wedding in January and Gayle has been giving her the best ideas since she is not as particular as me. She is willing to work within your budget and is so flexible if you want to change anything.

Where do I start?! Gayle is so incredibly talented. I work as a wedding coordinator and have had many opportunities to witness Gayle's beautiful floral. So of course when it came to my wedding I jumped on the opportunity to have her do my flowers! She REALLY out did herself! They were AMAZING! She and I had met and corresponded several times about the look and design I was going for. My wedding had a tropical theme and I wanted it to be bright and exciting. Blue orchids, orange tiger lilies, birds of paradise, monstera leaves. . . you name any tropical flower and I asked for it! I had quite a crazy color palette and Gayle made everythig blend and compliment each other. I gave Gayle some pictures to show her exactly what I was looking for. She not only matched it, but she went above and beyond! Everyone at my wedding raved about the flowers! I even had someone stop me at The Venetian (we went there for our wedding night) and take pictures of my bouquet! Not only is Gayle a talented florist. She has the kindest heart and such a warm personality. It truely is a pleasure working with her and it only got better when it came to my wedding. She treats each bride as a friend not just another client. She is prompt with her responses and always on time with everything in hand. I recommend her to every bride that I work with. The flowers that Gayle did for my wedding were amazing! I never had an initial face-to-face consultation with her, everything was done over the phone or through email, and everything turned out to be perfect. I described to her what colors I wanted and she recommended flowers - I decided on white lilies, lime orchids, and and orange tulips for my bouquet, yellow and orange gerber daisies for my bridesmaids - and they were beautiful! She was very flexible and would send me updated contracts everytime I changed something. She was right on time with the flowers the day of my wedding and I was so delighted to finally meet her! She was very friendly right from the beginning. I would STRONGLY recommend her to anyone and I will certainly use her again if I'm ever in Henderson, NV needing flowers again! =P

Phoned 3 Florist and only 1 phoned me back, she was Gayle at Blossom's. I was a little skeptical at first.....she works from her home. I went to her home for our first consult and that was it, I knew I wanted to hire her right away! She was under my budget leaving me with extra money for other needs but the main reason I went with her is she knows her stuff and she offered me several different options to keep costs down. She explained that she only books up to 2 events per day and she has a lower overhead so this keeps flower costs down. A friend of mine was married over a year ago and she spent a lot more than I did on flowers.....she had mainly roses and I had Mini Callas, Orchids and some Roses. My colors were Hot Pink, Lime Green and Orange, they really popped in my pictures.She has a great personality and she made me feel very welcome in her home. I highly recommend you meet her and compare with others....Gayle was wonderful, check her out and see. I made a friend in her, we both love Atlanta Braves Baseball so this is for her...Go Braves!

I had a wonderful experience with Gayle! The first time my husband and I met with her we knew she was our florist. She was so nice and kind, and from her pictures we loved her work. She was always checking in with us and letting us know she was always there if we needed to change anything or to just meet with her if we needed to! We created a wonderful friendship with Gayle and I think that is so important when planning your wedding. You want to like your vendors and to know that they really care about the product their delievering. Gayle is all of that!

I met Gayle through a referal from the Reverend who married us. I had spoke with several other florists prior to meeting with Gayle. As soon as she and I met I knew my search was over. She was warm, welcoming and genuinely excited to be part of my wedding. I began working with Gayle about a year prior to the event and as the year progressed my fiance was laid off and our entire game plan had to change. Gayle was so gracious and sensitive to our needs. She assured me she could work with our budget which had been cut in half. We had to change locations three times and everytime I emailed her with the updates she was always kind and understanding. She was very patient with me while I rearranged and edited our order. The final product was beautiful! I was so pleased with my bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquet were amazing. We received several compliments from our guests and parents about the gorgeous flowers. I would recommend Gayle's work to any one as she is a true artist and professional.

When I searched for wedding vendors three things were important to me: NICE, professional, and creative. Gayle is all of these things and more.When I came to see Gayle I had no clue what type of flowers or colors I wanted. She was so patient with me, we brainstormed for two hours. She was sincerely interested in making my day magical. When I had to make some floral changes 2 weeks prior to the wedding. She made it happen. She was stress free, kind and supportive.As you brides may know… the week of the wedding it is suggested to call and confirm with all your vendors. My mom asked me, “Did you confirm with your florist?” and I said, “I trust her, no worries there.” Gayle delivered my flowers on time, and even stuck around to help my husband with his boutonnière. I met with Gayle to consult about my flowers that I would like to have done. We went over everything and she had a very reasonable price to fit my budget. She was perfect for me. I wanted red roses with bunches of pink in them. I described them to her and she was very professional about my description. She also contacted me and discussed further information regarding my flowers. She was so nice and understanding about my order. On my wedding day she delivered the flowers on time and they were so beautiful. I absolutely adored my bouquet and was excited about how talented she can be at making everything looking so perfect. I was least excited about getting flowers for my wedding because I'm not really a flower type person. However, when I first went to Gayle's website I was blown away from her work and fell in love! She called me back to go over what kind of flowers I wanted and we spent over an hour on the phone just talking about what flowers I love and she gave me recommendations for what would best fit my personality. She is a great person and helped me out so much with picking out the perfect flowers. Not only that but she was honest and not trying to over sell me and worked in my price range. The flowers she made for us were PERFECT. Everything came out amazing and better than expected. She does the best work in the Las Vegas area. She is such a great person with outstanding customer service, an eye for detail, and the most gorgeous flowers you will find in LV!!

If I could give her 10 stars I would! This was the best experience I had with any of my vendors or florists that I met with. Gayle was very professional, knowledgable, and friendly. From the freshness of the flowers used, to the design, and set up, everything was perfect! You don't have to worry about the end result and how it will turn out. She does an AMAZING job! I was the most indecisive bride ever. I really had no idea what I wanted flower wise. Gayle made recommendations based on my color preferences and had many photo books of her beautiful work to look through. After finally making a decision I couldn't wait for the big day! Gayle was very sweet, helpful, and creative. She made sure she understood exactly what it was that we wanted all the while keeping our budget in mind. The flowers turned out amazing. After the ceremony, many of our guests were approaching us asking if they could take one of the many centerpieces home since we were going on our honeymoon for 9 days and wouldn't be home to enjoy them ourselves. Working with Gayle has been worry and stress free. I just had my wedding on April 15th, 2011. I didn't realize how much time and stress that goes into a wedding until I was mid way through. I was lucky enough to have met Gayle to have her help me find the right flowers for me in my price range. Before my wedding I was clueless when it came to flowers, but with her help I was able to figure out what I wanted. Gayle is very sweet and patient and gave her undivided attention when sitting down with her. Again, I would totally recommend Blossoms!!!

She was wonderful!! Was very helpful in helping me pick out what I wanted. I had no idea when we started. She will help to give you suggestions you u need them but listen to want you want. When I called or sent an email she responded back ASAP. Every change we made she sent a new invoice so I new exactly what the cost would be. Wedding flowers are expensive if you want good quality. She is very professional and works out of her home.

My florist Gayle was the best to work with! She was friendly, patient, kind, and most of all knowledgeable about all the flowers in her profession. She works closely with her brides to build a relationship and get to know them so she can help you pick the best flowers for your wedding! Mine was beautiful. She only did my bouquets, boutonnieres, and mother's corsages but it all turned out so lovely! Please choose her as your florist you won't be dissapointed!

Gayle was very informative and very flexable. Even when there was a change due to seasonal flowers she informed me right away and everything turned out perfect. She was very personable and totally honest.

Gayle is a wonderful lady. She is always chipper on the phone and willing to listen and work with you. You never feel like you're rushed when talking with her and she really makes sure to keep wonderful communication with you. She is very organized and attentive to detail. I had floral changes throughout my planning stages including entirely changing my ceremony site and Gayle didn't even bat an eyelash. The only thing that disappointed me was that at the last minute she was not able to get enough orchids from her growers so a few pieces had to be compromised. Overall, I thought she was terrific to work with and provided great service.

Gayle was exceptionally accommodating and made you feel very welcome into her home, which is her business/office as well. She gave us needed suggestions this being our first planned wedding. There where many photo albums with various pictures of flowers and flower arrangements, so we where very clear on what we where ordering. Her follow up was timely and professional. Come wedding day, Gayle was on time and pleasant in nature. The flowers where just beautiful!

I had the best experience with Blossoms by Gayle. Gayle's work was amazingly beautiful for my wedding- everything arrived on time and without hassle. All the center pieces were done just as we discussed and my bouquet was gorgeous! She was not only creative, but a professional who was willing to work with me and with my budget. Gayle was so nice and professional. She had beautiful pictures of her work to show me so I could choose what I wanted. The outcome was amazing! Loved all of the flowers!

When I planned my Flowers with Gayle, she seemed to say she knew exactly what I wanted. I made some very specific points: All White, big arrangements, and peonies for my bouquet. I was SO SO SO dissapointed with my flowers. She said she would contact me if changes needed to be made and NEVER did. She also was late delivering the flowers resulting in delays for my pictures. When I did come downstairs to get my flowers my bouquet was handed to me and I did not recognize it...Champagne roses and green accents. Oh my God, I was so mad. Gayle was nowhere to be found and I simply had to deal with it. The next thing I noticed was that my centerpieces were GREEN and RED...not a trace of WHITE in them. I would NEVER recoomend this florist to anyone. She completely ruined my flowers and gave me a huge dissapointment to look back on. I paid her almost 4 thousand dollars to have the exotic flowers and she gave me generic roses and weeds in the center of my table.After my wedding I contacted her to discuss and she had no remorse for her unprofessionalism. In my opinion, I should have been re-imbursed a substantial portion of my money, since she obviously pocketed most of it given the ugly flowers she delivered. If my company ran buisness like that we would be bankrupt. DO NOT USE HER.

I spoke with Gayle multiple times on the phone and spent two hours with Gayle in her home and had decided pretty much every detail for the flowers for my wedding, down to the last petal of bouquets. At Gayle's request, she wanted to meet once more at the venue to go over the layout of everything prior to giving me the final pricing. I asked her in the presence of my groom and wedding coordinator if I needed to give her a deposit. She said to wait until she had everything priced out and never mentioned that she would give my date away or that she had anyone interested in my date. She assured me because she worked out of her home, that she could provide a more personalized florist experience and beat out all competitor pricing. She prided herself on only doing two events per day and I left her feeling happy, relieved that a major part of the wedding was completed and that she truly had my vision of my wedding and reception under wraps. A few days before our final meeting, Gayle called me and said she had bad news and that she was sorry but she had booked "a huge Christmas party on the date of my wedding and was not going to be able to handle my event!" I was flabbergasted. I asked her why she would book my event after all we had handled, etc. and she said that this client had called her months ago but she didn't think they would call back but they did and she booked them. I asked her why she never mentioned a potential conflict and she just said she didn't think they would call. I also asked her if she would have booked had a given her a deposit and she said no, but when I mentioned that it was at HER request i not give a deposit, she didn't have an answer. She also had no response when I asked why she wouldn't have called me and given me the opportunity to bring her a deposit if that is what she needed. Again, no answer. This is a prime case of going to a higher bidder. Gayle totally went for the money and had no consideration to me in the least. I have no doubt she would have provided quality work at a great price based off of the time spent designing with her and seeing photos of her work. Unfortunately she did not turn out to provide that same quality as a business professional or an ethical human being. My suggestion would be to MAKE SURE you secure your date with a deposit regardless of what she may tell you because if an event comes along that will pay her more, she will throw you to the waste side.
