Dru and Neil were great. They are easy to work with and wonderful designers. They took care of everything. The wedding was gorgeous.

I used Blue Bouquet for my fall 2011 wedding. I am so happy with the work that they did not only on the day of our wedding, but during the entire planning process. Throughout my time planning, I was unsure of what I wanted in terms of flowers, and the entire staff went above and beyond to help me figure out what I wanted. They educated me about the options I had as well as drew up numerous sketches for me and sent pictures of their previous work to help give me ideas. They were extremely patient with me and made the planning process very enjoyable.

All of the flowers on our wedding day turned out absolutely wonderful. Once we decided on the arrangements, I did not worry about the flowers--I trusted their creativity and ideas. They went above and beyond my expectations.

They truly love what they do and it shows -- from initial consultation until the big day--- they provided me with new ideas and even honestly suggested removing lighting since the reception was in a bright loft in the middle of August... Blue Bouquet takes the perfect approach. They begin by having the bride respond to a style questionnaire and from that they learn the bride's style before the first meeting. After the meeting, they prepare a design brief that details everything discussed and what they plan to do, including sketches. It's very helpful to have that design brief and the sketches. They then execute the design flawlessly. The floral pieces were exactly as sketched and described in the brief, and they were outstanding in beauty and design. In addition, the staff is thorough and professional, fun and engaging. There is no reason to look elsewhere for your wedding day floral designs.

They were amazing. They went out of their way to get a feel for my style and the types of flowers I wanted and then used their creativity to design something that was all I had imagined and more. This was one area that after our several planning sessions I felt so comfortable that they understood what I wanted that I completely let them do their thing no questions. And when I walked into the ballroom and saw it all I was blown away. Also I wanted very expensive blooms and they did it within a budget I gave them!

Flowers are really important to me, so I wanted to find a florist for my wedding that could make a statement with flowers. I couldn't possibly have been more delighted with the work Blue Bouquet did for us! Everything looked fresh, the design was fun and elegant at the same time and my wedding bouquet actually smelled good, like it had just been picked out of my grandmother's garden. Every aspect of working with this company was perfect. They really listen to what you want, what your vision is, and then they turn that into something far more gorgeous than you ever could have imagined. They make you as much a part of their creative process as you want to be! Everything is laid-back and stress-free for the client, but you still feel confident in the organization and professionalism they exhibit. If you want the best, your search is over.

Blue Bouquet was the perfect decision for my flowers! They personalized our flowers to our style and feel of our wedding, and they were the most stunning flowers I have seen at a wedding. They also went over and above and brought things and served in ways I would never have expected! They were incredible!!!

Neil and Drue were very pleased to work with and bouquets and flower arrangements were perfect. They provided useful suggestions on the color scheme and we wanted. All I can say is WOW! Neil and Drue were fabulous to work with. Very flexible with my needs (a small wedding) and extraordinarily creative. Flowers are huge thing in my family and it couldn't have been more perfect. They do more than flowers too! They designed a whole room for our reception including the linens, lighting, wall fabric. They were so detailed they even changed out the lightbulbs in the chandeliers as some of them were yellow and some were white! I highly recommend - my favorite vendor to work with by far!

Blue Bouquet was amazing!!!! I was so thrilled with their work! I think something that makes them stand out- is they really take the time to understand your style and vision and come up with something amazing that expresses who you are as a couple! They are more than just florists- they are designers too! They are are really easy to work with and really mellow- which is nice for a stressed out bride! They have a great studio in the Crossroads that really shows their personality. I can go on and on! I know they are listed as more expensive on the Knot- but I would encourage you to meet with them even if you know your budget is smaller than others, they will work with you to find ways to make your budget go far! I just loved everything about it! I had so many compliments on the flowers and other decor they provided and designed. Also, the bouquet and personal flowers were out of this world! They were one of a kind and just BEAUTIFUL!

Blue Bouquet rocks. I had a Dia de los Muertos themed wedding reception, and when I left all the floral details in their hands, I fully expected a kitschy but fun decor. Instead, I got an elegant and beautiful take on the theme that had all my guests complimenting the flowers. I would recommend them to absolutely everyone. Couldn't have had a better experience.

We wanted a tropical theme since we got married in Mexico and they did an amazing job making our venue very tropical. The centerpieces were gorgeous as well as my bouquet.

I cannot tell you how many compliments I got on the floral arrangements at our wedding reception. Blue Bouquet did an absolutely amazing job. And, it was so simple. I simply told them the style I liked and they used their creativity to make it even more beautiful than the vision I had in my head. They were very professional and great to work with. This florist went above and beyond my expectations. My6 wedding had to be moved inside due to weather and Drue and her team quickly thought of ways to make the indoors as beautiful as the out. Aesthetically speaking, my favorite part of my wedding day was my flowers! The best part of my wedding planning was working with Blue Bouquet. I felt disorganized and frazzled with my decorating plans, until I met with Neil. He worked hard to identify my taste and understand my desire for the mood and feel of my wedding. Through this process he helped me to identify my likes and dislikes. Then Drew and Neil transformed my difficult venue into a something more than I could imagine. It was everything I wanted and more!

There attention to detail was impressive!! Drew even noticed an error of one of my OTHER vendors when she was setting up the day before my wedding. She called me and told me about the issue and already had a solution to the problem. Then she moved forward and fixed the issue without me having to lift a finger.

They were organized, timely, up front about cost, and wonderful to be around. I can’t say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Blue Bouquet. I would recommend them to any bride. Without reservation, it was the best money I spent on the entire event!

The floral arrangements and bouquets were amazing and a big hit with all guest. I went with a very undestated elegance (and they nailed it) so my flowers were minamal but not unnoticed. They were beautiful in the church as well as in the hall. My bouquet is being preserved and was arranged for that, but was one of the questions asked by the company to see to it that all would preserve well. I would reccomend this company to anyone looking for a florist with a great sense of class, sophistication, and more importantly a passion for their job and sense of duty to the most important one. Neil & Drue are AMAZING. I first met with Neil--after completing an online assessment of my floral style (quick & easy)--I briefly described what I was looking for and within minutes Neil was sketching stuff and talking about what flowers would work best...perfectly in line with my vision. I spent the next week anxiously awaiting the proposal, worried it would come in thousands over budget. When it arrived, it was not only in budget, but it was artistic, inspired, creative, and details. Other florists (the most reputable in town) had sent me proposals that read like a grocery list ("Brides Bouquet, $---, Mother's corsage $---"). The Blue Bouquet proposal included pictures of the custom keepsake bronze bout for the groom, the vases for the centerpieces, detailed descriptions of each flower, each arrangement. I could imagine exactly what it would look like. Priceless.

Over the next 6 months, Neil & Blue Bouquet were easily approachable and beyond helpful. As the day came in shape more and more, I would email/call and we would adjust little details to help things all flow together (for example, we decided in lieu of the bronze/copper vases, that we would use blue-and-white Asian inspired ceramic vases...we actually ended up using some of my vases and they picked them up/delivered them without incident!). Neil helped me narrow down my favor choice & the wedding day stationary (menu cards, table numbers) for what would most compliment the floral design. We went to the event space twice and Neil & Drue walked me through exactly where everything would go, spots that might look bare and how to avoid that, took measurements and talked about the sizes of each arrangement.

On the day of the wedding, they delivered all the flowers, wired every wreath, personally set each flower/arrangement, delivered each bout, each bouquet, and (unplanned) arranged some flowers around the cake on the cake table which "made" the cake. And Drue threw together a last minute toss bouquet after I changed my mind about having one. They were polite and professional. I felt so comfortable knowing I didn't have to worry about what the space would look like.

And everything was FLAWLESS. The space looked lush with flowers, the designs were artistic and creative, the arrangements were well thought out (flowers were never in the way--too tall or too small to notice), the event space truly was "in bloom", and perfectly in line with what we had agreed on in the proposal and over the months leading up to the ceremony. Blue Bouquet should be your wedding florists. They are truly phenomenal.

The Blue Boquet was amazing! I loved my flowers so much. They worked with me and my budget even to the last minute. I had a few changes at the last second and they didn't sweat it at all. They made me feel so comfortable and everyone commented on how amazing the flowers were. They truly went above and beyond to make my wedding dreams come true.

Neil & Drue are AMAZING. I had a simple intro meeting with Neil and by the end he was sketching stuff and talking about what flowers would work best…perfectly in line with my vision and showing a clear passion for his work. Then the quote arrived and it was exactly what I was hoping for—on budget, artistic, creative and filled with detail. (Compared to others that had lines like “ Bride’s Bouquet $--, Mother’s cosage x2 $--). They included pictures, detailed descriptions of size, numbers of flowers per arrangement—I knew I would get exactly what we had talked about! PRICELESS.

Blue Bouquet was a dream find. I was visiting wedding locations and when I visited Berg Event Space downtown KC, I walked in to find Drue and her team setting up for a wedding. I instantly said to my sister, "I want the wedding here and I want this woman and her team to do my flowers." It was a no brainer and I felt so lucky to have met Drue that day. I called the next day and met with her to sign the contact that next week. I had to make sure she was my florist!

Drue was more than just a wedding vendor to me. She became a friend over the course of our wedding planning throughout the year. She was more than professional and brought many ideas to the table to help me with my vision. She kept in touch, sent updated proposals, sent me pictures of things I would be interested in, and I had full trust that she would make it perfect for us. She even stayed for the ceremony to help coordinate and assist in getting people down the aisle. Since she was familiar with Berg Event Space and the wedding coordinator ... it just made it even more stressfree for me. I had no doubt she would shine through and she did exactly that. Her staff was also at the same level of professionalism and they were all just genuinely happy to make the space perfect for the day of our wedding. I couldn't have asked for more.

As we began the process of choosing a vendor the stars just lined up... I really didn't think flowers where THAT important, but as I chose the other elements such as the venue (a large ball room with little contrast or interest) and the wedding party attire (simple black and white) I had a sneaky suspicion the floral aspect was going to have to pop and/or set the mood. Blue Bouquet "found us". We were sent an email asking to fill out a style survey and we reluctantly took it. BUT... Lo and behold it was dead on. That survey came at the right time and it confirmed my thoughts that we DID need to pay attention to our look. We didn't want your run of the mill spray of flowers - instead we wanted a focal piece and clean lines... BINGO! Blue Bouquet very excitedly jumped on board and began sketching out our look. It turned out to be the right move. We were pumped they were so in to it. We had no doubts and gladly stepped out of the way so they could design and do what they do best. Our wedding day look was gorgeous. Dramatic in an elegant understated way. The perfect combination. Totally us.

All of the individuals behind Blue Bouquet are driven by creativity and have a passion for what they do. I chose them not only because of their great work but because of how easy they made this part of our wedding. I had full confidence in Drue and Neil and had absolutely no worries about their work prior to the wedding. For me, having no headaches was important! I don't even feel the need to discuss how wonderful their actual flowers/etc are because they speak for themselves.
The personality of our florist was just as important as the work they did! In addition, it was important for me to have a florist that could put my few ideas into a piece of art while also providing great service. Now about my husband's opinion. Prior to the wedding he had very little in put on flowers, etc. However, he informed me multiple times that the centerpieces were one of his favorite things about the whole event! Even the groomsmen loved their boutonniers.

I loved working with Blue Bouquet! They understood my style and were able to replicate it for the wedding and the reception. They were very easy to work with and were very flexible as far as making changes close to the wedding date. They returned phone calls usually the same day which was very comforting. We received so many compliments on the floral decorations and I could not have asked for more! I would highly recommend Blue Bouquet.

Dru was amazing...I don't know flowers so she got a fell for what I like/don't like and ran with it. When she showed up the big day it was amazing. Everything from the ferns at the church to the arrangements at the reception, they made the nigt even more perfect. She was very flexable with me the last week with last minute changes and multiple phone calls. If I ever get married again, she'll do the flowers!

Blue Bouquet created the perfect feel for our wedding based on a very general idea from me. The final product was better than I could have expected. Their designs for the tables were elaborate and subtle at the same time. I was not the bride that checked in constantly. After our original meeting, and one additional touch base contact, I left it up to them. When the bouquets showed up (early) they were perfect, and when I walked in for the reception everything was beautiful. Blue Bouquet was professional and trustworthy. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

Extraordinary! I would fully recommend Blue Bouquet. In the first meeting with Drue, she intuitively knew which flowers fit my personality and theme. My wedding ended up spanning two days. Friday was the private garden ceremony and Saturday was the big reception. Blue Bouquet was very flexible with creating two bouquets and two boutennieres to accommodate this. Paying close attention to detail, they were able to tie the lace pattern on my wedding invitations and stationary with decorative platforms for the centerpieces. All of the flowers were absolutely stunning! Guests are still raving about them, especially the cascading orchids. Such a creative idea. The flowers even moved a male guest to tears!

I visited with several flower vendors and Drue was the only one who really listened to what I wanted, and came up with ideas that would incorporate our personalities into the wedding. She is very helpful, creative, and enthusiastic about what she does, which makes her a pleasure to work with. Everything looked beautiful, and I loved the checkerboard fabric she found for the bouquet wraps and centerpieces, to go along with our ska theme. She has great ideas, and will make your wedding unique and exactly what you envisioned.

The price of everything was very similar, at each vendor I shopped at, but no one else offered the personalized service that Blue Bouquet did. They also gave us a tossing bouquet, an extra bouteniere for the groom, and two white roses to honor our mothers at the ceremony, at no additional charge. I would definately recommend them. They are worth every penny.

Blue Bouquet were the florist of choice for my wedding. We had a unique wedding location - in a barn - and we really wanted to play up the setting, so we asked Blue Bouquet to be creative with the flower decor. They more than delivered on my request. Every step of the planning process with them was fun and professional. Blue Bouquet was awesome! I initially met with Drue and loved working with her because she seemed to get just what I invisioned. I told her my style, colors and flowers I liked and she ran with it. I was even more impressed when we saw the decorations at our ceremony/reception at the Berg. They even incorporated some modern looking twigs in our alter arrangements that I had briefly mentioned over the phone that I liked. Drue Carr went above and beyond to make changes to our floral plan when our ceremony went from outdoor to indoor - then she saved the day when we had cake issues! The best part of this husband/wife duo was the style assessment before you go in for a consultation. This quick and fun survey let's you choose what is your personal style. They take this information and come with great ideas that you would have never thought you would love! You don't have to choose roses ever again (not that roses are a bad thing). They are wonderful to work with!

Blue Bouquet was absolutely amazing!! They knew exactly what we wanted, and delivered it with perfect timing and selfless flexibility! They were willing to travel to our beach wedding in Honduras and provide amazing service! They were able to find the most coveted flowers and create some amazing pieces that left a lasting impression on us and our guests! They were even able to provide live ceremony music for the beach, it was perfect!

Then they also did the flowers and decor for our Reception in Kansas City when we returned! Again, flawless planning and attention to details. Stunning table settings and decor very classy for the location (Blue Gallery in the Cross Roads district). Overall I can't imagine a better florist for all of our wedding events!

Drue and Neil from Blue Bouquet are brilliant! They listened to our ideas and affirmed our taste, and they expounded! They made sure we were taken care of! Drue had so many ideas and Neil was so helpfull. These two are truly gifted! When you are having a wedding you have so much to balance...I never once worried about what everyone would see on our wedding day. The Flowers were simply amazing! We chose cymbidium orchids with crystals that hung from curly willow branches...absolutely wonderful! and recieved so many praises...When we show off our wedding pictures we get constant compliments on the arrangements...We cannot say enough about Drue and Neil!!!!!! Drue and Neil of Blue Bouquet went above and beyond my expectations! I was so impressed with the way that they listened to my tastes and ideas and embellished upon them in ways that I have not seen at other weddings. They were extremely organized and attentive to the details of making my day beautiful and unique! Blue Bouquet was the most wonderful company to work with. They showed up the day of the wedding and flawlessly turned our church into a fairy tale. They provided extra flowers in case they were smashed, put each of the bridesmaids' flowers into their own vase with name cards that the girls could use while we took pictures (this made sure that everyone knew who's was who's), and they worked with exactly what we wanted, no questions!

Our wedding guests raved about the flowers for our wedding! The flowers were everything that I had dreamed of and more. It was difficult for me to determine what colors and types of flowers I wanted, but after talking with Drue I was so at ease about the flowers. She listened to the few ideas I had and created the most lovely arrangements, bouquets, and decor that flowed perfectly with the dresses and style of my wedding location. It was exactly what I wanted. Also, we had a historical wedding location with strict rules about the use of the space and Drue was able to find creative ways to work within their guidelines. We couldn’t have asked for more!

I had a picture in my head of what I wanted my flowers and decor to be at my wedding, but I had a hard time verbalizing it. Blue Bouquet made my wedding the most beautiful day. They were extremely responsive to my questions and ideas and perfectly vizualized the presentation I was looking for. Their bouquets and arrangements were better than I could have imagined! I gave them a lot of ideas, types of flowers and mediums, and the fruits of their labor were some of the most unique, beautiful arrangements I have ever seen. I think I got more comments and "oohs and ahs" over the flowers than my dress!

Gorgeous product, friendly and so easy to work with - could not have been more flexible!! It really meant a lot to us to have such an accommodating florist, as family drama and tragedy had us changing things right up until the day of. The team at Blue Bouquet was fantastic! My initial meeting with Drue was great - she seemed to know exactly what I wanted before I could even tell her. And she came up with ideas that fit perfectly that I would have never been able to think by myself. She had really great ideas about how to stay within my small budget, but still get a good 'wow' factor! Throughout the process, my emails and phone calls were always returned quickly, and Drue was perfectly fine with my bouncing countless ideas off of her. I was so confident in Drue and Blue Bouquet, I had no problem giving them free reign with the flowers. The reception decoration was better than I could have imagined, and my bouquets were absolutely stunning! They were more than I ever could have dreamed of!

This was the best experience about my wedding! Drue was absolutely wonderful. I was pretty set on what I wanted, and Drue even gave me some ideas on how to do things that would still be beautiful in a little cheaper way. What buisness person looses themselves money to make your day more special? She also did a few things for us that a florist wouldn't normally do, she set up the areas around the grooms cake at the reception along with the wonderful centerpieces she made. Drue was absolutely wonderful to work with, very professional, and so much help during a stressful time. I would highly recommend her for anyone!

I only had them do my bouquets and the altar piece and did the rest myself. I gave them some photos of things I liked and what the rest of the decor was going to look like and they totally understood the look and feel I was going for. They even talked with me about my DIY stuff and how I could tie everything together. They are a bit pricey but they are very talented! If you know exactly what you want they can do it but so can the store down the street. You will for sure get your money’s worth if you need a little guidance to pull things together or if you want them to design it for you. THEY ARE AWESOME at designing a room. Very responsive and professional - they did not treat me like "another bride" Made me feel like a celeb or something. Got a special vase just for my altarpiece that I didn't see until the day of and it was PERFECT for the venue. The ONLY reason that I put a lower mark on flexibility is because of their availability to meet with me. They always had open apts but they only meet during the workday. They are busy with events on weekends. All and all - worth taking off work to meet with them and worth the money if you need their talent!

Flowers were the least stressful thing about my wedding thanks to Drue, Neil and Christina. They were awesome to work with and did exactly what I wanted within our budget. My bouquet was so gorgeous, I was going to send it off to be preserved but it ended up sitting on our dining room table for a week because I just couldn’t part with it! I showed them a few pictures of what I wanted and they added their own creative flair to make our décor gorgeous, including custom-making a Just Married banner for us. They also decorated my cake, with pretty much no direction, and it ended up being one of my favorite things about the reception! They were wonderful to work with.

Their services were very personalized and their brainstorming sessions with all of the designers were great for us, especially because they actually got to know our style and came up with creative and unique ideas that were exactly what we were looking for, but couldn't have come up with on our own. They were very personable and professional, and my only complaint would be that there were several times that I had to ask more than once for an updated price quote or extra design details before receiving a response. Other than that, they did an excellent job setting everything up and we got everything we discussed and it all looked beautiful!

I shot a wedding this year where the church was nice looking but otherwise unremarkable. Blue Bouquets arrangement for the altar made that ceremony not only a place for two people to show their love for one another, but also a place of art. It was amazing, yet not so much that it was distracting. Just the right amount to make that altar be perfect. I'd recommend them based on this, and many other things I have seen them do!

A recent couple of mine used Blue Bouquet for their wedding and not only were the flowers exceptionally beautiful, but the bride and groom raved how cool Dru & Neil were to work with. The bride had been upset that her dress was wrinkled and although the bridal gown store refused to do anything about it, BB showed up with a steamer and let them borrow it for the weekend. In a market that is saturated with decent florists, Blue Bouquet goes above and beyond in quality as well as service. I hope I get to work with them again!!
