Blue Cupcake

I first found Blue Cupcake on yelp because I knew I wanted to do a cupcake tower with a traditional cake on top. There were many vendors that did cakes or cupcakes but not many that did both. I was instantly drawn to Julie's website because of her use of fondant (I love the way fondant looks). Julie is French and she has tons of cupcake/cake towers on her web page. I love how her creations can be both elegant and cute and was just what I was looking for.

I really liked Julie and Ernae (the business manager) but the only thing I must warn you is that they are not the most responsive. It took a lot of calling and emailing to finally get my order with them.

At the end of the day, the cake was really cute as were the cupcakes. I also loved the little bird toppers that Julie made for me. They are still sitting in our fridge as we speak!

She does not have a virtual store, but she has a booth @ Century City Farmers Market every Thursday. You can pick the flavors you want and then tell her what kind of design you are looking for; she then will make a few samples.

Her price is very reasonable. I ordered my cupcake tower which can feed more than 110 ppl for only $500 (which includes a 6" cutting cake, delivery & tower rental). And she did the custom made fondant decoration on each cupcake and they look amazing!
