Reuben & Fausto and their staff really know what they are doing. They gave us very personal attention from the get-go. We were planning our wedding from afar and didn't have time to do a lot of the normal research involved with caterers. They made it easy for us since they had so much experience. Our guests LOVED the food - even the people from Maine said that the Lobster Roll appetizers were the best they ever had, now THAT'S an accomplishment! The best part was, on the day of, I didn't have a single worry that everything was going to go perfectly with the food...so it allowed me to enjoy my day to the fullest!

I cannot say enough good things about these guys. Their willingness to act as a coordinator and stylist is a huge plus for any bride. They were able to work within my budget without batting an eye. And responded to all of my emails, silly questions and all. They were also able to come up with a slightly more unconventional meal style to cut down on place setting rentals and the hassle of transporting dishes to the island that our wedding was on. We asked them to cater a wedding on a slightly more remote island they had never been to and they agreed without any hesitation - AND pulled it off without a hitch. And I received compliments on the food all night long. Delish! These guys are just awesome. Hire them before they are all booked up. They are busy!

The Blue Elephant Catering team knows how to host a fantastic event. They catered my entire wedding weekend, from Friday's rehearsal to Sunday's brunch and a fabulous wedding inbetween. Our guests raved about how delicious the food was. Everything was served hot, on time, and with great care. Their staff is as professional and put together as the management, which I really appreciated. You can expect great things from Reuben and Fausto. Worth every penny. We are lucky to have them in the area!
The staff was great to work with and very professional at our wedding. They had one person specifically stayed close to me & my husband all night to accomodate any of our food/drink needs. The food was delicious, especially their vegetarian dish, we had many compliments from our guests.
Only complaint was the dinner rolls were put out way too early (2pm for a 7pm dinner) so they were hard and gross by the time our guests sat down to eat. Other than that, I highly recommend Blue Elephant for wedding catering!

Rueben and Fausto were really great. They helped me with so much! I was planning a wedding in Maine from California and they were very helpful with planning the reception dinner as well little wedding things I hasn't thought of. The food was delicious and presentation was gorgeous. The staff were extremely helpful and took care of everything. I would definitely recommend giving Blue Elephant a call!

A. Choosing a historic house for your reception can help you create that fairy-tale look that you have always dreamed of. Holding your reception in a unique or unusual setting like a historic building allows you to add your own personal touches to everything from the decor of the building to choosing unique lighting for the grounds.
Q. How careful should I be with my budget?
A. When planning your wedding there are many expenses to be aware of. The caterer, florist, photographer, musicians and DJ, videographer, site rental fees, etc. can quickly add up. When getting quotes from all of the vendors that you choose, immediately deduct that from your starting budget. This will help you avoid any last minute surprises that might come up the day of your event.
Q. Should I arrange for a tasting with my caterer?
A. Yes. A personalized tasting allows you to sample different of the meal that will be served at your reception. You should be satisfied beforehand with everything from the entree and bread all the way down to the pastas and sauces that are served. Try to avoid caterers that want you to sample a set tasting menu - you might enjoy what you are served, but it won’t necessarily help you with your own menu.
Q. What are the event site’s staff responsibilities during my event?
A. The site staff serves several purposes. Site staff acts as added security for your reception as well as for the protection of the facility itself. This insures the refund of your security deposit as well as an extra pair of hands during the event. The staff of the facility also acts as a liaison for your guests if questions arise: taxis, directions, extension of the reception hours, etc.
