We looked at multiple jewelers before settling on Blue Nile for my engagement ring. Blue Nile by far has the best prices and selection, especially for Asscher cut diamands (some jewelers don't offer Asscher at all!). Ring came in super fast and as ordered and appraised for way over what was paid for it. My fiancee did not have any complaints about the ordering or payment process. I have also gone back and forth with customer service via email regarding which wedding band will work with my engagement ring. They are very good about responding and answer questions well, though the responses did not always come from the same person each time, which was a little odd. 3 stars for flexibility because you cannot customize anything but the center stone.

We had to have the ring re-sized after he proposed, and they were available and quick to answer all questions by a nervous bride-to-be who didn't want to give up her new treasured object. My husband found my engagement ring on Blue Nile and had a great experience. He also saved a ton, and Blue Nile's prices just didn't come close to other local jewelers. Since his experience was so positive I decided to also get my wedding band from them. I got a custom band, and the experience started out as a nightmare. They accidentally quoted me the wrong price and refused after they put it in writing to give me the original price they quoted. After speaking with their headquarters, they ended up quoting me a price that was in the middle. I agreed because I already felt committed at that point since it was getting closer to the wedding and I had invested so much time into the ring already. They told me the ring would come at a certain date, and then they kept pushing it back... it came days before the wedding which was pretty stressful. They however constantly updated me with the situation and I think their customer service is top notch. I am hesitant to use Blue Nile for future purchases because of everything I went through, however I loved the ring when I got it and also received an amazing price.

We ordered my husband's wedding band and my engagement ring from Blue Nile. Impeccable customer service and really great products. My husband's wedding band arrived a little smudged, and Blue Nile offered to reclean and polish the band for free. Luckily that wasn't necessary since Blue Nile's jewelry cleaner took off the smudges. We would DEFINITELY use Blue Nile again.

Disclaimer: Being the bride, I was not the purchaser of my engagement ring and wedding band, but being the primary wearer of such jewels, I am in love. We got my rings at Blue nile. Most impressive ring shopping website ever. They have cookie cutter rings, so you cant really get creative. But they have amazingly beautful rings. I was measured in the summer, and he proposed in the winter, so my ring size was off. Blue nile had no problem fixing the band and sending us a correct ring within 2 weeks - although it was the longest 2 weeks ever, my ring was/is perfect, and I'm so happy we used Blue Nile. My husband and I shopped for our wedding bands at Cartier and DeBeers. I found one I liked at Cartier for $7700 and then looked on Blue Nile and a near identical ring was $3100. We ordered my diamond eternity band from Blue Nile and a plain platinum band for my husband. I LOVED my ring but my husband didn't find his to be comfortable. So, we ended up getting him one from DeBeers. It was a few hundred dollars more than Blue Nile but he is much happier with how it feels. Blue Nile is awesome!!

My husband purchased an absolutely beautiful engagement ring for me from Blue Nile. The value for cost was excellent. We found that our local jewelry store charged almost double the cost for the same ring. However, when it came to purchasing a wedding band to match my ring, Blue Nile was not helpful in finding a diamond band to match my ring. We spent much time on the phone with them, only to be frustrated by the process. Finally, they were unwilling to create an ring to match my band and only wanted to sell us off the shelf products.

Everything about Blue Nile rocks. My husband got my engagement ring there - and I love it. We decided to get our bands there as well. My husband had his engraved and when we received it, it ended up being too big. However you can get it resized for free - minus the cost of shipping - for a year. Once we got it resized and were so happy to see that the engraving was still there! Quick service and great prices - can't beat it!

We used Blue Nile for my engagement ring and my wedding rings and they are awesome. My engagement ring has appraised for over $2k more than my fiancee paid for it and I'm sure the wedding rings will appraise the same way. We ordered the rings on a Sunday and received them on Wednesday, which is superfast if you ask me. And return shipping is free too so you can order more than one if you can't decide and then maybe you'll get to keep more than one (that's what happened with me!)

I went to a couple of local boutique jewelers to look at wedding rings, and was completely shocked by their prices. Blue Nile to the rescue -- great value, great service, fast delivery, and reasonable prices. They lose a star for a limited selection, especially for men. But unless you're looking for something really unusual or handcrafted, this is a great option.

I have purchased several sterling silver gifts from Blue Nile and every time, I am blown away by the quality and service of this company. You truly get a wonderful product for a very reasonable price. My most recent purchase was a cuff bracelet for my maid of honor. It came in pristine condition, packaged beautifully, and shipped promptly. I gave a 4 star rating for flexibility simply because I wanted to have the plain cuff engraved and they were unable to do so in-house, not a big deal though, it was easily done by a local jeweler.

Since wedding bands are strait forward, and I loathe typical pressured sales in jewelry, buying online for our wedding bands made a lot of sense. The only problem with buying online of course is returns. We had a ton of time before the wedding so again it seemed like buying online would be fine if a return was necessary... which it was. The first platinum band was much to thin as a match for her engagement ring. I returned the ring and ordered the next ring at the same time. The second ring arrived in a day at no cost. (I did buy in early February, so a rush at this time of year seems like good company policy.) The customer service was easy. The price killed anything you would get at a jewelry store. I am quite happy with Blue Nile and would absolutely buy from them again.

I would recommend using Blue Nile for any type of jewelry purchase. Even though you are buying online, they provide information and service that enables the customer to trust them.

When I visited their store, I immediately was drawn to their service and products. They were helpful and knowledgeable. My bracelet was absolutely gorgeous.

I used Blue Nile for my Bridesmaid gifts - three pearl bracelets - as well as my own bridal necklace - a freshwater pearl pendant. They were not only beautiful, but also came carefully packaged with instructions on jewelry care. I know I will be able to treasure my pearl pendant for a lifetime.

I wanted to surprise my wife before our wedding with a gift that I knew she would love, but I had no idea what to get her.
