We have an in-house member of our team that handles most of the post processing. We are currently working with the latest evolving software needed to look after proofs that come out of the camera from an event.

Two of our three main photographer's have experience with photographing for the media and have experience with tough conditions that change all the time. All of us have photographed weddings in dark churches & reception venues and have the lenses need to capture these.

We all shoot digital. It allows us to be more creative and to not let up when shooting an event. (You can never go back in time and photograph something you second guessed on shooting)

We have 6 main photographers and 4 people that assist us with 2nd shooting for larger weddings or weddings with a large headcounts or operating photo-booths.

Yes. Even if you have to drag our dead body to your wedding. (joking) Since we are a team, it also allows us to assist each other.

Never more than one in a day. It's not fair to both couples. We have shot weddings back to back (Sat then on a Sunday). This was done when we were starting out, but it's rare now since we have a team.

Yes, we have other photographers in-house that we know and trust. We also have built a strong relationship with other local photographers who also do great work for their clients.

Camera's & flashes with back-ups for each. We also bring back-up storage for memory cards as well as more than enough memory and batteries for flashes and cameras. We also have our own lighting if we need to bring it. We also bring a great attitude, and we try and mingle when we can with the bridal party and family to make them more comfortable with having us around the entire day with them.

Yes. You have to. Period.

Some smaller packages are hourly, but most are full-day. Every couple is different and every wedding is different, so you really can't have packages that are not flexible in some way.

It's all in the contract. Main photographers run $200 per hour and 2nd shooters are around $100 per hour. We are willing to stick around. Many times, timelines run late. We are not clock watchers and don't mind sticking around to get key shots when needed.

During a wedding, there is some down time here and there. That is our breaks. Also driving between locations is also a break and a great time to crank up the tunes and get pumped up for the next part of the day.

Over 100Km's from Toronto, it's at our choice to charge a small fee. It's laid out in the contract (if any) travel fee's are charged

It's in the contract that proofs are delivered 1 to 2 weeks after the event.

No, the couple can print what they want and we offer a letter (if needed) for them to print with their own printing vendor.

Yes, we use the images on our website and blog for marketing. If a couple would like us to not display the images, we respect that and they need to have it in the contract with finalized.

There is a spot on Wedding Wire to give tips and advice.... I guess we better share some with you with regards to picking a photographer and creating cool pictures on your wedding day...




Think about having a 2nd photographer assist the main photographer at your wedding. They will give you more angles and more pictures and catch stuff on the other side of the room that is happening. They can focus on guests and family more as your main photographer focuses on you.




Find work by photographers that you love and study how the couple is standing and holding each other and feel the mood in the photographs. Find a couple that you truly love and share them with the photographer. Also, it will help you think about other ways to stand and hold each other creatively. Drink some wine and stand in front of a mirror with your man and practice. (it's fun... it might lead to kissing and that leads to....you know. Quality Time)



Try and give you photographer enough time with you and them alone. (without the bridal party and the family)... many times... lots of time is used for family and bridal party shots which are important. But do allow your photographer some creative time to take some really stunning images of you as a couple.



Take engagement pictures with your photographer and that way... you will get to know them and also see how you look in front of the camera and practice those creative ways to hold each other.



Take some time on your wedding day to sneak outside with the photographer at night and play around outside and take some creative images using off the camera flash. It will give you 10 min's away to sneak outside and take some cool images. (your guests won't know you stepped out)



Tell your close family not to look and stare at the photographer if they are shooting moments as they happen. "Old School Photography" and your family that follows it thinks every shot should be looking at the camera and posed. It's a little different today than it was 15 years ago, so remind those that is close to you about the photographers style and they they will be sneaking around to capture moments between people.



Think about little locations that are so close to your reception venue that have neat back drops. A wall on the side of a building... a farmers field with an open gate... sometimes stopping there for 10 minutes before you actually arrive at the reception can make great pictures. Drive the route and look for these places and tell your photographer. Take images of these places with a digital camera and email them to your photographer.



Focus on each other during your first dance. Most couples talk a bit, which is fine... but not the entire dance. Focus on each other. Talk to each other through your minds. Stop and kiss her.



And finally... kiss each other like nobody is watching. Eyes closed. No fishy kisses (mouths puckered up and trying to make lips reach each other)... just relaxed kissing and talk to each other about how you mean to each other through your kiss.
