We had our ceremony at the Bonnet House and it was AMAZING! Nicholle, who is their event planner was wonderful to work with. She is extremely professional and knows exactly how to do her job and how to make the bride feel special. The volunteers of the day of the wedding were extremely nice and the whole experience was great. Highly recommend.

The Bonnet House was beautiful and perfect for my wedding ceremony! We had the threat of a Tropical Storm, and the staff worked with me to get a tent up and make the day perfect! I loved it and was a great place to get married. My guests loved the atmosphere!

I wanted a Fort Lauderdale wedding, but definitely not a hotel. Bonnet House was beautiful and unique. I also liked that I could provide a caterer of my choice. The ground are beautiful. I especially love the house courtyard where we had our cocktail hour. The lawn area where we had our reception was gorgeous too and has large palm trees that are lit at night. Real swans swim in the lake next to the lawn. We rented a tent through the Bonnet House and it included a full floor. Nicholle was a pleasure to work with and let me come to the house multiple times throughout my planning. The only reason I didnt give the venue 5 stars was because of the high price tag, however I do feel it was worth the cost.

This place was so cool. It is an incredible South Florida museum 1 block fromt he beach in Fort Lauderdale. It ran about 6500.00 when we rented it and it had to be tented. If is very unique and has a huge pond in the center of the property with swans in the it. If you want something eclectic and cool check it out.

First of all, the Bonnet House is a beautiful place. It is an old plantation house in Fort Lauderdale; a bit of history in a very busy city. If you ever come to Fort Lauderdale, you have to take a tour of the property. It's wonderful. As soon as I toured the property, I knew that it was the perfect place to get married! As far as for a wedding, the Bonnet House is a great location. It has so much natural beauty, that there really isn't much additional decor needed. And the people are so helpful. Nicholle was great, very helpful and accomodating (as much as she could considering its a historical property). Volunteers were also very helpful when we were scoping out the place. On the wedding day, volunteers were on hand, and drove the guests to the wedding site on golf carts, giving mini-tours along the way. (There are also little monkeys on the property, which the guests loved.) Although the interior areas of the house had to be closed during the event (to protect the spaces), they did have one bridal changing room available with a bathroom. And, the lights were on in the protected rooms, so you could see into them from the courtyard (where the cocktail hour was held). We had dinner on a hillside overlooking the pond... it was beautiful. Also, the swans came over with their ducklings for our photos... very cute!At the end of the night, volunteers were available with their trusty golf carts to bring the guests back to their cars. All in all, the guests loved the experience (and I must say I did too)! I would definitely recommend the Bonnet House. It is a beautiful location, and the staff makes everything run smoothly and accessible. For me, it was a once-in-a-lifetime unforgettable experience, and I wouldn't have done it anywhere else!
