OH MY GOODNESS!!! Where to begin?! I was told my bridesmaids dress would ship on May 19, so I waited a few days later to give time to be delivered. When I called the shop, the girl told me it should be on the truck and she would call the shipping company and call me back the next day. Never received a call back, so I called the next day, and she she said she wasnt able to get ahold of the company, she would hang up and call them right then and call me back. She did immediately call me back and told me it should be on the truck to be shipped and should be in by Friday. I received no call on Friday that my dress was in, so I called and still nothing, they said it would be in sometime the next week. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so I called the following Wednesday, when I am told still no work on where the dress is, and they would have the owner, Bonnie, herself call me back when she got in. I did receive a call from Bonnie later that afternoon, and I am utterly APPAULED at the disrespect and lack of customer service skills this woman has. She hung up on me not just once but TWICE that day, called me a liar saying I was not told my dress would be shipped on May 19 because no dresses ship in the middle of the month, but she wasn't even saying the 19th, because she kept saying th 13th and I had to correct her every time. She would not take the time to listen to my complaints but rather interrupted me everytime I spoke, telling me I was wrong and it's not her problem, and that I needed to contact the shipping company. I paid $25 extra to have my dress rushed because the original ship date without rush was too close to the wedding day. I feel SHE should refund me the $25 because it was her company that gave me the wrong dates in the first place. I'm getting the dress 1 week after the original ship date if I would not have paid the additional $25. My mom also called to complain about the service, and Bonnie also hung up on her. Bonnie then called me today to tell me my dress would be delivered on Monday, and how she was such a great person, because she was going to go in on a day when the shop is closed so I can get my dress, so if I want my dress I have to be there when they deliver it (which is in the middle of my work day) or I have to wait until they are open. I advised Ms Bonnie, that I have spread word to all my friends and acquaintances about the lack of customer service and compassion by her with this entire dress ordeal, and that I feel she is not taking any extra steps to satisfy her client. She proceeded to hang up on me a THIRD time! So, if you desire friendly customer service with compassion and empathy if there are any issues in the delivery of your dress, DO NOT GO TO BONNIES FORMAL FASIONS!!! I STILL have yet to get my dress, and the wedding is 2 weeks from tomorrow in Florida, which means, we are leaving in 1 week. My wish is to put this woman out of business by spreading word about her tacky, unprofessional, rude business practices and lack of any customer services skills or compassion for anything but the almighty dollar

Brides! If you want your wedding day ruined, buy your dress someplace else. I learned the hard way. They show you the perfect dress, have you pay $$$ for it and then order the wrong dress. Then when you show up to pick it up the give you the dress that looks hideous but they claim its the one you ordered. Then they make you pay to exchange it, and then only for crappy dresses they have in the store.
Don't let this be your experience, it's not worth risking your wedding day. This place is a scam, a fraud and should not be used by anyone.
When it comes to Bonnie, her store, and her crew, and Karen....rude, crude, dishonest, sloppy, unprofesional, offensive, and disrespectful conartist...are just a few things that come to mind! I wish i would have checked out the reviews in advance but I did not know you could do such a thing.
When it comes to saving money I am all for it, but when they tell you that you are saving 100 bucks, and then your tax and shipping equal more than that it is fraud, YES SHIPPING... TO HAVE YOUR DRESS SENT TO THEIR STORE. THEY THEY TOLD ME THEY CARRY THAT BRAND JUST DONT HAVE THAT DRESS, YOU WOULD THINK THEY WOULD TELL YOU IF YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT IN THE BEGINING!
I did not order my brides maides dresses from them because of said treatment, my own personal decision that I have every right to make, but Karen told me that technically we owed them money, and this is why they have policies, so they don't WASTE THEIR TIME WITH PEOPLE LIKE ME!... because one of the girls had a deposit down, (the ticket says that you owe 20% of total bill if you cancel one dress has been ordered. Well they told us it had to be paid in full before it could be ordered, so how does 40 buck order it? I NEVER GOT THAT MONEY BACK FROM THEM, EVEN THOUGH THEY CLAIM U CAN USE IT TO PURCHASE OTHER MERCHANDISE... I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN A VEIL, THEY WOULD NOT LET ME
UNFORTUNATELY I couldn't back out of my dress becuase there was this wonderful lady named Katie at Your Special Day in Swansea that Rescued me and my girls...and even took 40 bucks off the brides maides dress that bonnie shammed us on. 3 of my girls are getting married next year and have gone back to see YOUR SPECIAL DAY.
At Bonnies they constantly insult your weight because they screwed up and had to get you a different size, CLAIMING, that it was the companys fault, that they were supposedly selling my dress to other girls who had a wear date before mine, everybody i have talked to says that does not happen. When telling me about this...after i had been told 3 times that my dress would be in in 2 weeks (i ordered in september, my dress came in in may) Bonnies actually asked me if i had by chance gained weight because the dress could not come in in my size until the week of the wedding! When it did come in it was way too big, Bonnie told me "oh hunny, you could have never fit into that smaller size, huh uh!" Sorry, I am a size 4-6 at 125 lbs and wear a size a/b bra. They ordered me a size 10 with a D cup! the cups could not be altered because of the "boning" in them... and Since you know this dress must have fit me so well, I had to pay nearly 200 bucks to have it altered, and I still want to cry when I look at my wedding photo's becuase they would have had to take off all of the button and lace and cut into the dress and piece it all back together........Which was not do-able to my gown right before my wedding that takes months and a lot of money. So needless to say my gown did not fit, and was too Way big, besides the fact that my breast were showing, no not popping out, showing because if you were tall, you could look right down. And even though this was their fault, they would not comp or come down because I chose to go with the dress, SO THAT I WOULD HAVE A WEDDING DRESS YOU CRAZY PEOPLE! YOU RUINED MY WEDDING DAY, AND MADE THINGS VERY STRESSFUL AND SAD IN A ALREADY BUSY BUT IMPORTANT TIME IN MY LIFE. I HOPE THE BBB GETS AFTER YOU! I WILL TRY TO MAKE SURE
I couldn't have had any more problems as I did with Bonnie's. My dress barely came in on time and my bridesmaid dresses didn't show up until the week of the wedding, 2 as late as 1 day before! My dresses got ordered for the wrong date, then the sizes were ordered wrong! We had to have dresses specially made and rushed to us! They weren't cheap to begin with and then everything with them got messed up! Working with Bonnie was a nightmare as well. She was nice to me, the bride, but rude to my family and bridesmaids everytime they called to to check on the dresses! DON'T EVER GO HERE FOR YOUR WEDDING. YOU'LL HAVE THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!
Price for the dress was great. I knew what dress I wanted and was price shopping (going into each shop and giving them the designer and dress number and then giving them the lowest price I had already been given and asking them to beat that price). Bonnie's put in the lowest price, and also was not going to make me pay for the dress when it was ordered, instead what they did was ordered the dress in my size with their next purchasing order and called me when it came in, and I had first dibs. Only problems were small, had trouble making an appointment for the alterations, and some of the beading was not altered right. But other than that, it was a wonderful experience.
