The photos were beautiful and available online right away, but just a little pricey. You get what you pay for though and we got amazing shots!

I could not say enough wonderful things about Jamie and Natalie and Borrowed Blue Photography! From the first time my (now) husband and I met with them, we were so impressed not only by their professionalism and knowledge but also by their fabulous portfolio. They have an absolute talent for capturing the important moments of the wedding that unfortunately you sometimes miss. On the wedding day, they took a wonderful balance of posed portrait pictures and candid shots. They were unobtrusive on the wedding day. I hardly knew they were there. One week after the wedding, they had all the pictures ready for onine purchase and they had a slideshow set to music ready for us. The song they picked was perfect and the slideshow was absolutely beautiful. All the pictures turned out perfect. My husband and I could not thank them enough for capturing the most important day of our lives in such a magical way. We look forward to reliving our wedding day over and over again thanks to Borrowed Blue.

Natalie and Jamie are fabulous! Our good friend used them as her wedding photographer and as soon as I saw the engagement photos, I knew I had to hire them for my wedding (no-I wasn't engaged yet!!) They are so professional and really do take the most amazing pictures. The shots are so creative and I love the saturation in the photos. You are not only paying for photographers, but artists!! Every time I e-mailed I got a prompt response and they were even early to our wedding. Check them out on Facebook too!

Jamie and Natalie were excellent! Not only did they take absolutely stunning pictures, but they did it in a way that was completely unobtrusive to the entire wedding day - I don't even remember seeing them catch all of the beautiful moments that they did! Jamie and Natalie were great! I first met them at a bridal show and was very impressed with their portfolio. I decided to check out their blog after the show and found that all of their photos had the same quality and style that was displayed at their booth. Photography was the #1 most important aspect of my wedding for me, so I was willing to spend the extra money to get exactly what I wanted. I was not disappointed! Working with Natalie and Jamie was a breeze. It was not uncommon for me to receive a response within 10 minutes of emailing them at 10:00 on a Sunday night! That sort of availability is very reassuring to a bride. They were very unobtrusive and "out of the way" throughout the entire wedding. I barely noticed their presence. I was able to see all of the photos online within 2 weeks of the wedding and was blown away. My album is gorgeous and an absolute treasure. I would recommend Borrowed Blue to any bride!

My wife and I hired Natalie and Jamie as our wedding photographers, and they were simply perfect. The pictures that they took are absolutely beautiful and they were a pleasure to work with at every step of our planning process. The finished album is wonderful as well--they captured the fun and love of our wedding day so well, and we love showing it off. They were always courteous, professional and flexible to our needs, and we couldn't be happier with our experience with them.

I do not even know where to start! All I can really say is that they are the best! From the initial consultation meeting to the picking out of the pictures for our album, I have been so happy. They have worked with us and given us such great advice on what they think is best but only when they were asked. They never once pushed us in a direction or told us that we were "off base". People who attended our wedding were approaching me asking me where I got them and told me how impressed they were. My mother-in-law said that every time she was saw something great happening she turned around and they were catching that moment. Everyone who has seen the pictures has been so impressed by the quality. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who wants their special day captured well.

What can I say about Jamie and Natalie, the ladies of Borrowed Blue. Totally awesome! Finding a photographer within our price range was hard to do in DC. Then a knottie told me about Borrowed Blue based in Baltimore. David and I drove out to see them and we fell in love with them. They have a very photojournalistic style. They don’t like the typical wedding shots, when they said this, we knew they were for us! Also we got 2 photographers and our package was very reasonable compared to DC rates. Even though they are based in Baltimore, they will shoot weddings in Northern VA. I am a Marketing Director for my firm and deal with alot of vendors and event planning. There are certain criteria I look for in every vendor: flexible, responsive, positive energy, humor, detail oriented, and simply a pleasure to work with. These girls had all of it. They were so low key and nice, I have to say, I truly miss working with them. They took a lot of pictures I didn't even know about. Plus they would step back for guest to take photos before they took the professional shots. This was key because I have seen some photographers get upset when guest try to take photos too. They had a wonderful sense of humor and we simply had fun on our day with them. We had absolutely no problems with them. I highly, highly recommend them. I interviewed a lot of photographers and they are simply top notch and creative.

"Awesome!" That one word says it all. Natalie and Jamie went above and beyond my highest expectations and delivered a product that I can be proud of. My friends and family were very impressed with their professionalism and attention to the most minute detail. I couldnt be happier with the result. From the engagement session through the final album and CD, the process was flawless. We loved the online proofs as well as the proof book of the wedding. Having two photographers working in tandem added an ease to the day, and they were able to capture details that a single photographer couldn't. We chose our Borrowed Blue package for the ability to receive a full CD with our album...well worth it. We didn't want to do the standard line up of photos, so make sure you ask your friends and family to approach Jamie and Natalie if they want a photo taken together. They were willing to work with all our unusual requests yet managed to take spectacular shots that we would have never thought of. If you are looking for professionals who show up on time, be discreet at the wedding and reception but still corral people for shots, this is the team you are looking for. (Plus, they were wonderful about sending gentle reminders to a distracted bride about contracts and deadlines!!) Natalie and Jamie were terrific photographers. We felt very comfortable with them on our wedding day and the pictures they provided were better than we imagined. We just received our album and it is beautiful. Natalie and Jamie were professional at all times and helped us out making any decisions necessary. I would definitely recommend them to anyone else. Their prices are definitely worth the finished product.

We were very pleased with the quality of our wedding pictures and with the speed at which they were ready. The ladies were quite professional and stayed out of the way. We didn't even know they were there. The only thing we were disappointed with were our engagement shots. But the engagement session was a good way for them to get to know us before the wedding.

I love working with these girls...They are such a quiet, unobtrusive presence....which I think shows in their beautiful photographs...they get the candid shots...that you get when the subject is unaware that he or she is being photographed... some people tense up in front of a camera, I do and its not pretty....I have styled the hair for some of the models at their photo shoots. Ive seen them crawl around on the floor like they are playing "Twister" , to get the right angle for their shots...very talented and flexible, photographers. Highly recommend

In May of 2006 I had the wonderful opportunity to meet and work with Borrowed Blue Photography at a wedding in Leesburg, VA. The Thomas Birkby House was the venue and they captured the historic home and the bride beautifully! The images I previewed were just magical and romantic.
