Jeff did a fabulous job keeping our party going. He was friendly and outgoing with all of our guests introducing himself to everyone before the party got started so that they would feel comfortable requesting songs. Weather it was a slow dance or fast dance, our dance floor was always hopping with our guests for every song, it never slowed down!! Jeff kept our reception on schedule and did a fabulous job meeting with us prior to our reception to ensure he knew the kind of music we did and did not want to have played. I can't say enough good things about his service and professionalism!!

Jeff did a wonderful job as the DJ at our wedding!! He was very professional and interacted very well with all of the guests at my wedding. He took requests from my guests and got everyone out on the dance floor. He was very easy to get a hold of throughout the wedding planning process and he has top of the line sound equipment....I'd recommend him to anyone!

Jeff is the best DJ ever! In the months before our wedding he was extremely helpful. He always answered my questions in a timely manner. The day of our wedding he kept me informed of what the rundown would be and took control when needed. The music selection was perfect! Our dance floor was packed all night long! I attended 5 other weddings besides my own this year and Jeff was by far the best DJ by a long shot! We couldn't be happier with Jeff's performance as our DJ!

If I could give 6 stars for BOULDER TERRACE SOUND, I would. Jeff was our wedding DJ this past weekend and he did a superb job. He interacted with our guests and took requests with our permission. He coordinated the entire evening and was on top of his game when it came to transitions, tempos, etc... A true joy to work with. There is not a single thing that we would have changed from what we got, and for such an affordable price! If I have friends in the area that are planning parties or weddings in the future, I will highly recommend BOULDER TERRACE SOUND with full confidence.

Jeff with Boulder Terrace Sound was great! He was very friendly and professional. My husband and I really liked his personality and we felt he fit what we were looking for in a DJ (not over bearing, cheesy or a show-off, but easy going and open to what we wanted). Jeff contacted us a few times throughout our wedding planning process which was nice. He even contacted our reception venue directly to find out information needed for his equipment. At our reception, Jeff was able to keep our dance floor packed the entire time. He even stayed past our ending time because our guests were having such a great time. The music kept going! He was open to taking requests from our guests while at the same time, not stray from our "do not play list." Since our reception, we have heard nothing but great remarks from our guests. They had an awesome time. I would definitely recommend Jeff at Boulder Terrace sound.

My husband and I do not have a huge dancing family. But the dance floor was full all night. Jeff made The night fun, he was out on the dance floor with us. Jeff is great I would use him for a DJ again for sure. Jeff is super easy to get along with and everyone loved him.

Boulder Terrace Sound is the best DJ service for any special event! Jeff made our wedding everything we wanted it to be and more. He took complete control of the night, ensured that our timeline was on track, and was super energetic until the end. He was more important to the evening than our wedding coordinator. Extrememly talented and does exactly what you want...
Everyone has an idea of what the perfect wedding looks like. Well, my husband and I always had an idea of what our wedding should sound like. Jeff did EXACTLY what we wanted, totally got what we were looking for and was also able to add to our ideas and make it come together beautifully. Jeff was great he met with us twie to make sure everything went smoothly. we had our initial meeting to get all the paper work and then again a week or so before our wedding, he took notes, and made sure that what we wanted was taken care of!!! He did a great job! He printed up a timeline and gave on to us and one to our photgrapher. He made our night very special by playing the music that meant a lot to us, and making sure that everyone had a great time!!

Jeff not only DJ-ed my wedding but also provided music for my sister's wedding and reception. His service is personal and highly professional. First, Jeff meets with you to discuss the specifics of your wedding and what kind of music you would like. He provides an easy to follow worksheet that helps you know all of the special events you need to provide music selections for. Finally, he will find any personal or wacky request you may have. On the day of your special event, Jeff is prompt, enthusiastic and a crowd motivator. He even got my 79 year old grandmother up dancing and singing to the entire reception!!! Oh and he was able to correctly pronounce all of the difficult first and last names of my wedding party attendants (one of my bridesmaid's is Japanese and her name is Chiharu). Hiring Jeff definitely made my wedding a fun filled event and I highly recommend him for anyone looking for a skilled DJ.

FAQ for BOULDER TERRACE SOUND
Who will be my DJ at the event? As owner of the company, I personally perform at all events. You will have the opportunity to meet with me prior to your special occasion. What time do you arrive to set up? I promise to show up at least 1 hour prior to starting your event. For all functions, I usually show up earlier as I account for traffic. Set up time is included. What do you need as far as setting up? You or the site will need to supply tables and corresponding linens and/or skirting. I will also need to be close to outlets for power. If necessary, please discuss this with your site or catering company. What attire do you dress in for the occasion? Weddings: Tuxedo, unless specified otherwise. Corporate Parties: Shirt and tie, unless specified otherwise. Other Events: Client specifications. ****** Or whatever you prefer ****** · How far will you travel? I can travel to Chicagoland, Peoria, Rockford, and even the Quad Cities. Travel fees may apply depending upon the location of your event. · How will we meet?
At your convenience, I will be happy to meet with you at your home, office, or the event site prior to your event date to review and discuss all of the details. Do you take requests? Of course! I review your selected song list and then I introduce myself to all of your guests throughout the evening to ensure everyone will hear and dance to chosen requests. Also, you may request for certain songs NOT to be played. Can I bring some of my own personal music? Sure! At most events, clients like to bring CD’s of their own. You can bring whatever you want as long as it is appropriate. What if there is a song we need that you do not have? This is especially most common being the first dance at a wedding. I will be happy to try to search for a song for you if it is not in my collection. Also, making it easier for everybody, you may bring it to the event if you own a copy. Do you have business insurance? Yes, I have a policy with Penn Star Insurance Company. What is required to reserve a date? A $300 non-refundable deposit is all that is required to secure your date with the balance due 30 days before your event. Your reservation deposit applies toward your balance.
I am not the most expensive or least expensive Disc Jockey around. As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for" , applies as well for a DJ's performance at wedding receptions. I put my heart and soul into your special day. My goal is to make sure you and your guests think that your event was the best reception ever attended! I absolutely love what I do and would still be doing this if I won millions of dollars!!!
Please consider hiring me as I become part of the party rather than just working it. It is my Friday/Saturday night as well and I want to enjoy it just as much as you do. I am not one of those DJ's that wants to hurry up and get out of the event so I can later go out with friends to some bar. I would rather stay and play music for you until 2am if the place would let us!
