By asking family or friends to help, you run the risk of them missing much of the wedding, being unable to complete a task as you expected, or losing focus because they get caught up in the wedding. A trained wedding coordinator understands the process, how to avoid common problems, and how best to manage issues that occur.
I'm trying to save money, how do I justify the added cost? Day-of coordination should not be considered an added cost or luxury, but an integral part of your wedding budget. Because weddings are complex events and emotions are usually running high, a wedding is a natural breeding ground for mishaps.
What if my venue already has a wedding coordinator?At the end of the day, the wedding coordinator wants to make sure you are happy that you chose their venue. However, there are many tasks that are important to the success of your wedding, that are outside of the responsibility of the venue coordinator. Our style is to partner with your venue to make your wedding a success. For example we work to ensure the wedding stays on schedule, become the go-to person for vendor questions and issues, assist with any guest questions, including seating, and so much more.
